“My boxer doesn’t like most people, but the dog is obsessed with Blair. I know Bella is in good hands whenever I have to go out of town and have to leave her behind. Would recommend Blair to anyone needing a helping hand with their pets.”

8. Jaimee L.

“I had a great first Rover experience when my dog stayed with Jaimee and her awesome family. Our dog was a little shy, but Jaimee and her kids respected her space. When our dog was finally ready to play they welcomed her with loving arms. The kids are very gentle with her and it is great seeing our dog interact so well with them. Jaimee and her family have good experience with dogs and when she had any questions she let us know instead of making assumptions on how to treat our dog. Will definitely recommend and use Jaimee's services in the future!”

9. Alexis R.

“Alexis took great care of our doggie for the day when we were traveling to Lynchburg for graduation ceremonies. Alexis was super easy to work with, reliable, and she responded to communication quickly. She has a very professional and kind demeanor, and we were completely comfortable leaving our doggie with her, even with no previous meeting. We were able to enjoy our celebration while our Misty was well cared for. We will definitely book Alexis again if we are ever in the Lynchburg area.”

Whenever she works with our dog and cat, MADDIE G. treats them like her own. She really, truly cares about all animals, and absolutely enjoys their individual quirks and personalities. MADDIE G. is the best-kept secret in the Greater Richmond region. She's a gem!”

12. Layna D.
“Layna watched our two rabbits for a long weekend. She hosted the rabbits at her home, making them feel comfortable. It was clear when we returned that Layna had done an excellent job with keeping the rabbits happy and healthy during our vacation. When we returned, Layna updated us on how our rabbits had behaved during the weekend, even sharing some of the fun stories with us through a card. We highly recommend Layna as a pet-sitter in the future.”

16. Christopher M.
About: I worked for a vet for 2 years and a kennel for one year. I have had dogs almost my entire life. I also know how to handle and take care of them. I have had 5 dogs in my life and all were different sizes so small and large dogs are no problem for me at all. I will treat your pet like my own pet and with all love and respect that it deserves. I have two sons that are seven and five so the dogs I watched need to be kid friendly. I have two dogs right now so they also must get along with other dogs. Both my dogs are crate trained so that takes care of that. Your dogs will have a loving caring fun time with me and my boys and we are about five minutes away from the dog park so they can also get a great walk-in and they all their energy out. I currently work full-time from 8 to 5 and they are generally in their crates for a little bit. I get up in the morning. Let them out for a couple hours and then they are in their crates until I get home. I care for a clients animal just as I would do my own make sure that they are fed and walked they can get brushed. I also do nail clips. I also give baths if they need that as well so I provide mini services not just dog walking and what’s being offered, but I can also groom your dog a little bit if need be.

17. Chloe G.
“Chloe is very well trained with working and learning the way each dog breed is. She is very understanding with knowledge on dogs and can satisfy both the dog and customer with her abilities.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Neighbors, friend and family have relied on me to feed, walk and care for their pets. I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals (chickens, goats, cows, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, etc...). We are a homeschooling family and have time throughout the day to care for your pet in an intentional and respectful way. I can feed them, take them out for frequent potty breaks and go for walks with your pet. I am able to give a lot of care and attention to your pet. We have 3 outdoor dogs in a kennel and 1 indoor cavapoo. I can crate your dog if needed. I am willing to keep your pet indoors. I will treat your pet like one of our own. We live on a farm and have everything necessary to care for your pet in a healthy manner.

19. Courtney G.
“Courtney's a fantastic sitter. She did home visits for my cat, Schuyler, while I was away for a week. She took excellent care of her; Sky was completely content when I returned, much less stressed than I've seen her after other trips. Courtney's also very respectful when interacting with my dog, whose a service dog and requires special handling. If you leave your pets with Courtney, they're in good hands.”

20. Rae R.
“I had Rae my dog when I was on vacation and she did such a great job! My dog is very picky when it comes to strangers but he LOVED Rae! She send me updates when I asked and cute photos. I never had to worry about whether he was ok. Would definitely recommend having Rae watch your furry friend!”
