About: My number one pet care skill is dog walking. In current life I have now, my family recently adopted an eleven month lab mix puppy who I have been helping to house train and potty train her. I live near a park with a track around it, so it makes it easy to walk her. My other skill would be getting dogs to like and trust me. Ever since I was four, I have had at least two dogs, which has trained me to give dogs a lot of pettings, talk to them, and play with them. Other specialties I have are feeding, watering, bathing, brushing a dog, and training a dog basic tricks, such as sit. Overall, I have had five dogs, in my life time since I was four, including a Jack Russel, Terrier mix, Pyrenees Poodle, Feist, and a Lab mix. Parting outside of dogs, I have experience with caring for rabbits, birds and fowl (chicken, duck, geese, guinea), and a stray cat. Hi, I am a second year college student, and also have a job in fast food. Dog sitting is my side gig, which making my hours limited. I am available all day on Sundays, available after 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and before 3pm on Saturdays. The number one way I will care for your pet at your home is by being attentive. I'll make sure that they are not doing anything they should not be doing. I will also ensure they have plenty of time outside for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. Furthermore I will keep an eye that they are fed properly, have plenty of water, and loved and cared for. Lastly, I'll make certain to clean whatever mess your pet may make and guarantee that your pet is happy and content.

“Amy was fantastic! She was very responsive and informative! She cleaned up and accident and brought in some Amazon packages—going above and beyond! We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I’m currently in university and may need to adjust for my classes, but I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 4 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

About: Since a young adult, I have loved having pets. At first I just had cats, and I love them! Later in life I became a dog mom too. Currently we have 1 big dog and 1 cat; we live in the forest and they are in and out all day long! They both get along well with other animals. I am a teacher and so will be off for summer! I will have plenty of time to give your pet the love it needs! We live in a quiet neighborhood in the forest; while we don’t have a fenced area, there are nice roads and paths to walk dogs. The area Down by our stream is quiet and private- we take our pets here regularly and let them run around. We also take long leash walks. I have a medium and large size kennels if your pet is used to crates.

I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you for your time! My schedule is fairly flexible as I work part-time at night. About: When I was born my mom and dad had 2 dogs, Petey and Jersey. A jack Russel and a Border Collie, I grew up with them and they grew up with me. There was never a time after them that we didn’t have at least 1 dog in the house at all times, most of the time it was 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sometimes it was more sometimes it was less. I’ve helped raise countless puppies and watched many dogs grow old. I’ve taught many puppies how to sit, potty correctly, I’ve bathed and dried. I’ve played with them for hours on end and most importantly gave them all the required attention. I love dogs so much, it is my genuine favorite thing to spend time with dogs. I currently work 4 am - 1 pm, so any time after 1 pm and on my lunches I am available for dog walking and drop ins. On Wednesday and Thursday I am off of work and am available for house sitting. I do not care for dogs in my home but with certain circumstances I may be able to care for your cat, if need be they would be in one of our 2 bedrooms.

“Lillie has been great working with our new dog Archie. She is very patient and gives great updates, which is very helpful when trying to figure out what behaviors we need to work on with him.”

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. They are my favorite living being ever! I adore them so much and want to spend as much time with them as I can. I have a lot of experience with dog sitting, at least 5 years (in home). I don’t have as much experience with cats, but they’re growing on me! I’d be happy to watch your cat as well. I can do anything you may need me to do. I am a CNA, Medication Aide, and Medical Assistant, so I’m very familiar with small procedures your pet may need. For summer break, I am working a lot, but I’d still love to be considered even though our schedules may not align. There may be a break in mine for some reason allowing me to service you! Currently I’m working: Sunday: 4pm-11pm Monday: 7am-7pm Tuesday: 7am-7pm Wednesday: 7am-7pm Thursday: 4pm-10pm Friday: 12pm-11pm Saturday: 7am-3pm It’s a lot but I love working hard! That’s what summer break is all about :) I have the most experience in others’ homes, since I can’t have animals in my home. I am willing to do anything and everything you ask of me. With my schedule, a lower maintenance pet would probably be the best, but I can always mess around with my schedule a little if it can help you!

About: I've worked at an animal shelter for 3 years, letting me work with hundreds of different animals with their own personalities and needs. Since I've been young, the neighbors would always ask me to pet sit, I've had my dog for 11 years and I love her very much 😁 I'm currently a student and have just moved to North Carolina! I absolutely love dogs and being outside so being a dog walker sounds like so much fun! I'm available Mon-Thurs 11-5 Visits will ensure food, water, and treats are given. I will make sure a lot of play will take place with each visit, keeping your animals happy and healthy while you're gone!

“Chelsea is an incredible dog-mom and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dog sitter or walker. I’ve known her since 2017 and can attest to the fact that she is utterly devoted to the health and happiness of her own dog, Gidget. In fact, her doggie daycare uses Gidget as the friendly greeter for new pups upon first arriving at the daycare. Chelsea is a brilliant and devoted teacher and has the utmost patience for her students as well as the pets she cares for. She loves hiking the trails with Gidget and having her meet new friends.
