About: Dogs have been my life companions and I'm a dedicated caregiver. I have experience raising my own dogs from puppy age on through the senior struggles. I had a big boy for 12 yrs and a big girl for almost 15, who I lost earlier this year. I especially love large dogs and the sweeties known as "bully" breeds. I'm choosing not to have a pet again for a while, so I have extra love and time to give to yours! I am available all days because I am not currently working a full time job and this will be a main source of income for me. I will incorporate the expectations discussed with the pet owner and be very attentive to the pet's needs. Animals tend to gravitate to me, perhaps because I play, pet, cuddle, and talk to them. I would ensure they are safe, happy, and have their needs met.

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

This was Coco's first full Day with Ms. Vely, so when she took command right away I was glad for that since she was a fresh face for my Coco to get used to over a long period of time. She is so wonderful and kind with doggies, I had no doubt she'd get my boy out of his shell. She updated us with photos and short videos throughout her time with Coco to show our little man was doing just awesome..... And the tongue hanging out the side of his mouth with a big toothy grin showed that she sure did get him out of his shell! Coco was even a gentleman doggie and made sure to follow her inside after every jaunt outside! Glad to have found Ms. Vely and glad to have her watch him again! You cannot go wrong with Ms. Vely!”

We were very quickly put as easy with Karla's amazing, calm and caring nature and obvious genuine love of animals. I have top secret security clearance and many missions under my belt. My passion now is animals. I am currently an SPCA foster parent to both dogs and cats. No job is too big or too small when caring for your pet. Whether they have medical needs or just need a happy face to lick, I can take care of it all. I am available day or night with total peace of mind everything will be cared for. I live in South Lakeland. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: I'm an animal lover, I wanted to become a vet I've taken care of dogs ever since I was 11 years old and there's nothing else in the world I would rather do than take care of your pet! i'm currently working from home full time so I'll have plenty of time to take care and play with your puppys at any time given.
