“From the moment we dropped off our pup, I felt completely at ease. My dog was clearly happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. She sent regular updates with photos and messages, which meant the world to me and gave me so much peace of mind. It’s obvious she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. I will definitely be booking with her again—highly recommend!”

“Vely was wonderful !!! we are from out of town and needed a sitter for our Pit/Lab 90lb baby for the day while we attended an event in the area. Packer is a bit nervous in new situations and Vely and her family welcomed Packer and made him feel at home. Astrid was Packer's emotional support buddy and she made sure Packer was comfortable. We received several pictures through out the day showing that Packer was settled in just fine. I highly recommend Vely and won't hesitate to call on her again the next time we're in the area. Thank you very much for welcoming Packer into your home.”

“Incredible dog sitter! Leo felt right at home from the moment he arrived. A beautiful yard to play in and greatly enjoyed hanging with Coco! Every day he came home to me happy as can be.”

About: Hello, I’m a pet lover and always have dogs and other animal around all my life. I’m the #1 pet sitter for family and friends! I’m an empty nester now for the past 2 years and I have found a lot of comfort on pets while navigating the no kids zone. I have a golden-doodle, very friendly and would love for her to also have friends. While caring for pets in my home , I believe on freedom and animal shouldn’t be crate . Instead provide a free and healthy environment. While is hot / summer I limit walking to only in the grass areas to prevent any paws injuries . Food and water available at all times and bunch of love , rubs and kisses.

About: I’ve always had a big heart for dogs. Caring for them comes naturally to me as I truly love being around them, giving them attention, love, and companionship. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m very flexible and love spending time with dogs. I can adapt to your pet’s schedule and needs. Whether in my home or a client’s, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick to their usual routines, give them lots of attention, and keep their environment clean and calm. Playtime, walks, and cuddle time are always included!

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve also spent time volunteering at dog shelters, which has helped me understand and connect even more deeply with our furry best friends. Whether your pup is full of energy and loves playtime, or prefers snuggles and a calm walk, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs! I’m reliable, gentle, and truly passionate about what I do. I know how much dogs mean to their families, and I’ll care for yours with all the love and attention they deserve. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! 🐶💖 Right now I’m not working, and I study online from home—so I’m pretty much always around! That means I have tons of time and flexibility to care for pets whenever needed. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy, so it fits perfectly into my daily routine. I have two super friendly Shih Tzus and one sweet. They love meeting new furry friends and are great at keeping other dogs company! But if your pup prefers their own space, no worries—I can easily keep them separated to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don’t crate dogs unless it’s requested by the owner. I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual routine, whether that means long walks, playtime, trips to the park, or just some relaxing cuddle time. My home is full of love, and your fur baby will be treated like part of the family!

About: We will be the next best thing to home while you are away. My husband and I have had dogs our whole lives and believe our house is not complete without a furry companion around. I am available full time to care for your dog. and will care for them like they are my own. I was a Rover provider in Arizona many years ago, but now we have made our home in Lakeland Florida, and are once again opening our home to care for dogs through Rover. I am retired from the healthcare field after 30 years and comfortable giving medications, or other medical needs your pet may have. We have a large fenced in back yard, but we also go on daily walks, play ball, or provide a wading pool to keep cool if you dog enjoys water. I am also an excellent dog bather and I am willing to provide this service during your stay as well. Between my husband and I, we are home all the time and available to care for your pet 24/7. We have a dog of our own, so caring for a dog is just a normal part of our daily routine. We have a large fully fenced yard, and our own friendly dog to help keep your dog company. Your dog is always allowed to be in the house as much as they like (especially when it is hot out). We do have a large create if you prefer that your dog be created during certain times.

I currently work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your baby and play with your love one :) ! I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep company of your love one more than welcome to bring toys to play :)

About: Dogs have been my life companions and I'm a dedicated caregiver. I have experience raising my own dogs from puppy age on through the senior struggles. I had a big boy for 12 yrs and a big girl for almost 15, who I lost earlier this year. I especially love large dogs and the sweeties known as "bully" breeds. I'm choosing not to have a pet again for a while, so I have extra love and time to give to yours! I am available all days because I am not currently working a full time job and this will be a main source of income for me. I will incorporate the expectations discussed with the pet owner and be very attentive to the pet's needs. Animals tend to gravitate to me, perhaps because I play, pet, cuddle, and talk to them. I would ensure they are safe, happy, and have their needs met.

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience in pet care, I bring both passion and professionalism to every visit. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels—including my current crew of pups! Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, or administering medication, I’m committed to making pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for in a familiar and comfortable environment. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and treat every pet with the same patience, affection, and respect I give to my own. Pet care is a core part of my daily routine! I structure my day around the needs of the pets I care for—whether that means early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening visits. I’m flexible with my schedule and make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they need. I also prioritize communication and updates so pet parents always feel in the loop. I prioritize safety and comfort above all else, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel relaxed and happy. When in your home, I follow all your instructions carefully, maintain cleanliness, and respect your space and routines to minimize any stress for your pet. I’m vigilant about preventing escapes or hazards and always supervise play and walks closely. Building trust with both pets and their owners is essential to me, and I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care every time.

“Rex, Lola and Toby had a great time at Nicole's. She was very nice, patient and kind with all three of them. Our three dogs have high energy levels, but they were obviously happy. Thank you Nicole, we would definitely come back with the babies!!”

About: 🐾 Looking for a Pet Sitter? I Have Openings! 🐾 Hey Lakeland pet parents! If you need a reliable, experienced pet sitter, I’d love to help! Whether you’re going out of town or just need an extra hand, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I started out with volunteering at SPCA and I now have worked with over 150 pet owners and over 350 pets!! 🫶🏻 🐶 Walks, playtime, & lots of love 🐱 Feeding & care tailored to their needs 🐾 Experience with all kinds of animals I currently have lots of openings, so now’s a great time to book! Message me if you’re interested or have any questions—I’d love to chat! I am a college student who is looking for side gigs. I absolutely love animals and I would love to add this to my routine. I treat all of my animals with love, whether that be the 13 animals I have at home, or the animals I care for while pet sitting. They are innocent creatures who deserve nothing but love. I absolutely adore doing everything in my power to make sure they're well-cared for.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for over 40 years. I have a huge love for dogs and cats. I raised puppies as well as cared for senior animals. I am a retired grandmother and want to spend my time caring for and loving pets. I prefer to only service one family at a time so I can dedicate my time to your fur baby. I have a fenced in backyard and live with with my daughter, son in law, and high school grandson. Your pet will get lots of attention from me and also my family. I am willing to follow your pets schedule for feeding, play, and bathroom breaks.

About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I STRICTLY KEEP ONLY ONE PET FAMILY AT A TIME - so I can focus on their personal and familiar schedule, happiness, and safety. I ALSO WELCOME SPECIAL NEEDS PETS, as I have owned and cared for many myself. Keeping your pet is a privilege and brings me great joy, it is not a primary financial stream. (If you need a recurring or long-term sitter who will build a loving relationship with your pet, please contact me for discount.) As for my background and experience, as a youth, I began fostering animals for the SPCA at 12 years old, and then at 16 began raising and training guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I have been awarded volunteer and foster of the year both by the SPCA. As I got older. I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed, furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!
