“I am simply in love with this sitter! Not only did she masterfully care for my dogs (even with their long list of quirks), but she also saved my house from a FIRE! The neighbors' shed caught fire which in turn caught our fence on fire (which would inevitably lead to catching our shed and house on fire). The dogs raised a fuss, so she noticed the orange/red color coming from the back yard. She called 911 to get help, managed to harness all three of our frantic pups, and still managed to call me during the melee! I can't even begin to tell you how reassured I was knowing that she was there! I will absolutely be using her services again! I definitely recommend you do so as well.”

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, I have even helped rescue a few dogs! I have experience in dog and house sitting. I am working part time currently so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I am trying to get 10k steps everyday so being able to walk dogs will make it 100x more enjoyable. I make sure dogs are comfortable with my presence and are able to relax as if they were with their owners still. About: Animals make life better! I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 8-years-old, walking neighborhood dogs and checking in on cats. During the pandemic, I volunteered at an animal shelter in Indiana. I ran miles with active dogs, provided enrichment through puzzle feeders, and even created videos about adoptable pets that ended up on the local news (and helped them get adopted!). Most recently, I’ve worked with an animal shelter in Missoula, helping them build up their social media and outreach. I have experience with kittens, puppies, rabbits, chickens, senior pets and dogs that are dog-aggressive or anti-social. I strive to provide the best pet care because they’re our family members and we want them in the best care while we’re away. I’m a strong communicator and always send text updates and photos! I’m a graduate student a the University of Montana. My days are flexible. I can feed/check-in during the morning, evening, or both depending on how much you need me. The animals safety is always top priority. I make sure to give your pet attention if they want it, give them treats, give them fresh water and for cats—scooping their box each visit. I always make sure I have eyes on your pet before I leave or close the door. I want to make sure they feel comfortable and safe while their family is away!

“Rachel was a fantastic house and pet sitter for our crew of five fur kiddos (plus house plants). We left our senior dog, senior cat, and three younger cats in her care at our house for a week, and she kept everyone on their (borderline annoying) schedules and routines, including daily dog walks and medication administration. Rachel was highly responsive, openly communicative, and active in sharing updates and daily photos of our pets. I'm also fairly sure that our house was cleaner when we returned than when we left...!
