I grew up in the remote country of Wisconsin, with a bunch of farm animals, as well as cats and dogs. Growing up with pets, and farm animals is crucial for knowing animals. About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. About: I have been working at a dog kennel for the past 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! My responsibilities include walking dogs, feeding, cleaning, and administering medication. I feel very comfortable around all kinds of dogs, and I know how to properly work with dogs with different personalities and needs. I work at the dog kennel 3-4 days a week but I am available in the morning, evenings, and overnight if needed. On the days I do not work I am available all day to walk and socialize with pets. Your doggos would be part of our pack while staying with us. This looks like an almost every day off leash hike or activity; typical 60-90 minutes on nearby trail systems. If staying during the week, dogs may have an infrequent stretch home alone, ALWAYS with access to dog doors to our fenced yard (typically Tuesdays or Wednesday). Our schedule is transparent and would be discussed prior to any booking so everyone is comfortable. The main priority is happy and exercised dogs in this house! We have two large yellow labs, both 8-years-old; brother and sister. Typical lab demeanor, friendly and loyal. Near daily hikes are a priority as everyone is happier when exercised. As mentioned ALWAYS 24-7 access to our fenced yard with dog doors into/out of home. Case-by-case needs 100% available as needed for happy pups!

About: I have previously owned Labradoodles so I have 18 years of experience with high energy dogs. I also have experience in taking care of dogs who require extra medical care. About: I nanny for a couple families and they have had me dog/house sit for them regularly. Over the years they have started recommending me to their friends and family as well. I work full time from 7:30-5:00ish but my job allows me to come and go whenever! My weekends and evenings consistent of nothing, as well as my early mornings! I would want my pets to be treated like family. If the weather is nice, we may go to the dog park or for a walk. Lots of cuddles, naps, and treats will be on the to-do list as well 🥰
“Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island!
