“Megan and Matt took such incredible care of our pup! They welcomed him into their home and treated him like one of their own dogs. They sent pics of their adventures and took Huck on several hikes! He was one happy pup! We will absolutely be asking them to watch him again!”

“Kenny and Michelle and family were such a pleasure to connect with. From the minute we dropped Hank off to pickup I could tell he was in excellent hands. Their two kids were so kind to Hank and I loved getting photos of him on walks. Hank is an older dog who takes medication for arthritis and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and gentle environment for him. I will definitely check their availability next time in Missoula.”

“Tavia was amazing with my little girl Autumn ! Always sent me pictures/videos with an update on how she was doing! Great communication always ! I so recommend her to take care of your puppy/dog while you’re away !”

“Jen is an amazing dog sitter. Our 3.5 year old mixed breed Abby has a blast and is so well cared for at Jen's house. Abby loves playing with Jen's dog as well as Jen and we feel very comfortable leaving her with Jen when we head out of town.”

“Emma is extraordinary, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Cleo got tons of snuggles, comfortable lounging time, and plenty of exercise. She got long walks on her favorite trails and playtime with Emma’s dog, Brody. Emma is very experienced and confidently handled Cleo’s personality quirks and occasional reactivity. She also sent detailed updates and absolutely gorgeous photos. I would trust her with Cleo again in a heartbeat.”

“Andrea and her pup, Ruger, came through when we had an unexpected trip come up. She took care of our dog-girl with no issues at all. Would definitely use her again!”

“Kerry and her family are amazing! They watched our dogs for a long weekend and both dogs were so relaxed and chill when they came home. It was clear that their needs were well taken care of and that they got a lot of love while they were at Kerry's place. Can't ask for anything more than that. Kerry also kept us highly entertained with a bunch of sweet and goofy pics. Which also meant we had no worries.”

“Brianna is the best dog sitter .. we came with a last minute plan to travel to Montana .. Not only Brianna accommodated our last minute boarding request our dog who usually is hesitant in the new surrounding was comfortable and at ease in first 5 minutes.. Brianna was very prompt about sending multiple pictures which was an additional peace of mind .. Totally Recommend her .. had the best experience”

“We have never had a anything but great experiences with Rover but Teresa was the absolute BEST! Gracie, who is pretty high strung and doesn’t take to just anyone, immediately felt comfortable with her. Teresa’s easy manner and obvious love of dogs made leaving Gracie with her so comforting! She took her swimming (not once but twice!) and sent photos throughout her stay. I highly recommend Teresa. I’d give her six stars if I could.”

“Barbara took great care of our 1-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound while we were visiting Glacier National Park for a few days. She was extremely responsive through the booking process and made it very easy for us! Our pup would have loved to stay even longer and play with her Golden Retriever. We will certainly book her again next time we are in the area!”

“Nicole was so amazing! She took such good care of our 2 pups and sent us regular updates. We have one high energy dog and one who has some health issues that limits her amount of exercise and Nicole worked with both of them to make sure they got what they needed! We will definitely be using her again”

“Memo and Auggie were amazing!! They provided such thoughtful and loving care for my pup while I was out of town. I loved getting the daily "Pupdate" with photos and a note because I was always reassured that my pup had a great day. Memo put all of my anxieties at ease and gave us the best boarding experience we've ever had. They really put all of their energy and attention into making sure my dog was comfortable and thriving. I also appreciated how they were very intentional about making sure staying with them was the right fit from the start. It just goes to show how much they care about providing a great experience for the pup and for the owner. My dog loved his time there and even seemed a little sad to leave when it was time to go home. We definitely recommend Memo's services and will be coming back for sure! Thanks again, Memo & Auggie, you're the best!!”

“Gabrielle took such good care of our dog and new puppy! She went on walks down by the river, played with the dogs, and sent us pictures throughout the day so we could see how they were doing. We definitely trust Gabrielle and highly recommend her. She is just wonderful. Thank you for everything you did to make our dogs happy. Our oldest dog, Tucker, didn't want to leave Gabrielle's house when we came to pick up the dogs after our trip. A true testament to how well they were treated. Thank you!”

“Our dog had a great time! Danielle went out of her way to make everything as easy as possible for us. Danielle and Leroy took great care of our dog and kept him busy and happy. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Nicole and Connor took such great care of Archer. He’s a young puppy. This is his first time with other people and dogs so it could not have been easy dealing with him, but they were still so patient and understanding. Then our flight got delayed and we had to extend another day unfortunately, and they were both so gracious about it.”
“Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! I would definitely use Leah again and felt super comfortable about her taking care of my buddy. Highly recommended. Thank you Leah-from both of us! You're awesome!”

About: I have previously owned Labradoodles so I have 18 years of experience with high energy dogs. I also have experience in taking care of dogs who require extra medical care. I love to walk, hike and go for runs with dogs but most importantly, I can give them love and attention while you are away. I am retired and looking for the opportunity to assist you in the care of your furry friends while you are working and or traveling. I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your needs. I have a large fences back yard, with no pets of my own. At night I have a mud room for your dog to comfortably sleep in or if needed a pad to lay in a bedroom.
“We are so grateful for Nickolas! He takes wonderful care of our Frenchie Cleo — she is always so excited to see him and his sweet dog, Margie. We love the photo updates Nickolas sends and it helps when we are away to see how much fun our girl is having. I would absolutely recommend Nickolas as a dog sitter — we are so lucky to have been connected!”

“Our older dog was well taken care of by Ellen. We received cute updates and quick communication. Would be happy to have her look after our Sidney again and Sidney would be happy to see her!”

“Tlhis was my first time leaving my Aussie Steel with a dog sitter. He's with me almost 24/7 because of my job. I'm sure I had a much harder time than he did! Ben told me about some of his regulars that he watches, and that they would be coming when Steel wad there. From the videos that Ben sent to me and the updates, I could see Steel was in good company and doing great!! He got lots of outside time, ate well and was completely worn out from a hike when I picked him up! :) I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Ben”

“Second time having Louise as a sitter. She’s great, my cats may not appreciate her but I do. Being available over thanksgiving is hard as a sitter, I know. But she was and I can’t express how much I appreciate that!!”

“Danielle was so accommodating for our last minute trip; she was communicative, kind, and so reassuring. This was our first time using Rover, or anyone for a pet sitter, and Danielle will continue to be our go-to. :)”

“Gabe is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. I’m very particular and anxious about who watches my cats and he went above and beyond when watching Nina and Jimmy. He has excellent communication skills and always checks in and does everything to make your cats feel comfortable and safe. He is trustworthy, attentive, very kind and an excellent pet sitter. I wish I could give him 100 stars because while I was away I didn’t even have to worry for a second and that says a lot because i hardly ever want to leave my cats because of how anxious I get. Look no further because Gabe is the best and he will treat your pets like they are his own. Thank you Gabe for everything! You are truly the greatest.”

“Kayln was incredible! She is so trustworthy and treats your pets like they are her own. I have two cats that are pretty picky and needy. With no trouble at all she took incredible care of them. Would recommend to anyone that wants to go on vacation and not have to worry about anything!”

“Kaitlyn played with kitties, worked on making friends with the shy ones, and did a great job with everything! I loved getting her updates and photos. Thank you, Kaitlyn!”

“Quinn house-sat several nights with my 2 cats. The experience with Quinn's high standards of care, as well as providing ample play time, gave me the reassurance that they would not feel abandoned, nor have behavior issues afterward. Many thx & I look forward to our next booking in the near future!”

“Emma didn’t disappoint. She provided great care to our 18 y/o baby :) She’s a really good communicator which I appreciate. Our first experience with Rover. Very pleased and will recommend!”

“Matthew was incredible with my shy cat. Within one day he had my baby acting like his normal self and even meeting Matthew at the door! You won't be disappointed in the quality of care Matthew provides to your fur baby and your home.”

“Emily has taken care of my cats a few times. She is very professional and good with them. I feel at ease while away from my place. It's nice to know I have someone reliable and experienced with taking care of animals.”

“Nickolas took excellent care of my cat and provided excellent communication. He took care of Gir like his own and enjoyed the silly photos Id get. Thank you so much!!”

About: I’ve always loved cats, and have spent time with multiple in my home since I was a child. I’m absolutely willing to clean litterboxes, administer medication, and do anything else your cat needs. Cats are undoubtedly my favorite.

“Brianna is AMAZING!!! My sweet little dog has special needs and is in a chair. She asked so many questions to make sure she could keep Frances active and provide the best care for her. I felt so comfortable with Frances in her care. Frances was happy when I picked her up and got excited every day that we pulled up to her house. THANK YOU for your amazing care!!!! Any time I am in town for work I will always work with Brianna :)”

“Teresa is the best! Finn is always excited to go there and has so much fun. Teresa is really great with Finn and has taken him on walks and to the dog park. She also has a great yard for him to play in. Thanks Teresa!”

“Memo saved us by being available at the last minute and then exceeded our expectation for care! Brought our doggo on a walk to tire him out and was truly so loving and caring. Really appreciated all of the pictures. Wouldn’t hesitate to book next time we’re in town ☺️”

“This was our first time using Rover and wow! Chico had a wonderful time, and Tavia kept us updated throughout the day with photos. We are so happy with Tavia and her communication. If we are ever back in the area, we will send our pup there again!”

“Alyssa was super easy to communicate with. I was glad Maizey got to spend the day running out her energy with Dolly. Maizey is definitely a handful, so it’s always good when she can get out some of that puppy energy.”

“Ben and Tuuli are the best! My pup was so stoked every time we pulled up to Ben’s house and I knew that he’d be having a great day with them. He was happy and tired after full days of play and walks. Ben is incredibly easy going and responsible. I never had a worry leaving Woody in Ben’s care and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an awesome pet sitter!”

“Bryan was awesome. He was available last minute to watch our dog while we were visiting family in Montana. Bryan was very communicative and sent photos of Javi throughout the day. Would 10000% use Bryan and his dog Ron on our next visit to Missoula!”

About: I'm a wildlife biologist who grew up with pets of all kinds. I provide 24/7 personalized care in a safe, loving, and playful environment. Your pet will enjoy access to our comfortable indoor living areas and a large, securely fenced backyard. I am experienced with puppies and senior dogs and only take one client at a time (up to 2 dogs). I am always with or near the dogs, so they are never left alone. “Maddisyn was great with our dogs, we would (and will) book her again! We could tell she’s spent a lot of time with pets, which really made leaving our pups alone so much easier. One of our dogs is aging and needs some more care; she was very attentive to our sweet old man. Great sitter!”

“Maisie was awesome with scout! Managing a lively 1 year old lab and returning her happy and exhausted was just what we needed for scout!! And what scout needed!! And maisie is a good communicator, on time, and kind!! The best kind of dog buddy!!”

About: I've had my own pets for over ten years, including a reactive dog so I know all pups need love! I've been the go-to dog and cat sitter for friends and family since I could drive, everything from weekend trips to month long visits, I've always been happy to help! As a pet parent we all know we need extra hands sometimes! I work part time, so although the times might vary based on the day, I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I know how hard it is to leave your furry babies, so I try to make sure that I do my best to quell that anxiety when I can! I've had to leave my pups with friends and loved ones before, so I know that worries of someone outside of your family stopping in. I listen to all boundaries just the same as I would expect a pet sitter to do for me. That's the golden rule: Treats others (and their spaces) how you would want to be treated.
“Molly communicates well, and she showed great sensitivity to my (slightly difficult) dog's emotional needs. She was prompt and professional. Definitely would hire again.”

“Brianna is such an AMAZING sitter / walker! She has been incredibly reliable, communicative and generous with my pups! She has been available to both overnight with my dogs as well as take them on walks and they have always come home happy and healthy! And they all love her dog too! She takes them on adventures and really cares for them. She is my go-to for trusted pet sitters! I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I primarily work with dogs and cats, but I’m happy to care for other animals too! I’ve grown up around animals and currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I take pride in giving every pet the same level of love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m experienced with all life stages—from playful puppies to senior pets—and I’m comfortable working with reactive or selective dogs. I also have experience providing extra care for pets with medical needs and will always follow your instructions closely to keep your pet safe and comfortable. I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, swimming, and exploring trails with dogs. Having lived in the Missoula area for several years, I’m very familiar with local trail systems and great walking spots. I originally started pet sitting in Wisconsin, where I’m from. Whether your pet needs a fun, active walk or a calm, patient companion, I’m here to help. I’d love to meet you and your pet!

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, I have even helped rescue a few dogs! I have experience in dog and house sitting. I really try to match the routine of the owners for the pets so they don’t get too stressed out being gone from you! About: My family has always had animals and I’ve always enjoyed taking care of them. From dogs to rabbits, I’ve learned how each animal communicates its needs and how to fulfill those needs. I’m currently on summer break from law school so I have plenty of time to fulfill any pet owner’s needs at any time that’s convenient for them. I live in an apartment surrounded by walkways and a trail that runs along the bitterroot river, great for dogs or animals that enjoy walks.
About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have had cats as well, so I'm comfortable with both. Most recently I've been the go-to sitter for my neighbor's cat during her extended trips away — sometimes up to a month at a time. Animals tend to be at ease around me, and I bring the same calm, unhurried attention to pet care that I do to everything else. Your pet will be well looked after and genuinely enjoyed, not just managed. I’m reliable, quiet, respectful of your home, and happy to follow detailed instructions for your pet’s care. I work from home on a flexible, part-time basis, which means I'm around most of the day and can give pets consistent attention and company. I'm available for drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week with good advance notice. I'm attentive, calm, and take pet care seriously. For in-home sitting I treat your space with care and keep everything exactly as you'd want it. I'm comfortable with a range of pets and temperaments, and I'll communicate with you regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: My family has rescued different kinds of dogs ever since I was born and am a big dog lover. I am allergic to cats, I can be within the facility just no petting. I would prefer to find some dog families that I can form a connection with! My schedule consists of working 7am till 3pm Monday through Friday every week. I do have fixable time during my lunch hours. I am flexible on weekends or when needed, hopefully we can make something work! I grew up training my dogs to do the basics. I grew up as dogs bro no an extension of the family and love all types of dogs!
About: I've grown up with 2 puppers and a few cats with most recently 12 years with my cat and dog. I am looking to give your pets some good outdoor time or just drop in and make sure they're fed and watered if need be! I can give medications if needed as well and have a background in pharmacy. I work per diem with an irregular schedule. I usually have availability on weekdays and/or afternoons. Due to my schedule I do need at least 24 hour notice before any drop ins or walks! I am just finishing up an educational training job going onto a per diem position that will have plenty of weekdays open for drop ins, walks or other play activities. I will not have a space to pet sit in my home however I will be able to travel to care for your pets at your home or wherever and set it up for your pet's preference.
About: Thought I'd try this app out to make an extra buck. I am a lover of all pets, well maybe not spiders. I grew up in the remote country of Wisconsin, with a bunch of farm animals, as well as cats and dogs. Growing up with pets, and farm animals is crucial for knowing animals. I'm always taking my roommates dog for walks, and to the dog park. We have a big fenced in yard in the heart of Missoula. Meru (my roommates female dog) is really friendly and loves all other cats and dogs. I would focus my energy on your dogs and cats of course, but if Meru and your dogs cross paths they'll be best friends for the day. Hope to hear from you, and lend a helping hand with your best friends. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention throughout the day — not just quick check-ins. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, walks, and companionship while keeping a calm, clean environment. I also make time for photo/video updates so owners always know how their pets are doing. I enjoy building routines around each pet’s individual needs and personality. I care for every pet like they’re my own and focus heavily on safety, comfort, cleanliness, and communication. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean environment with plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and space to relax. I always introduce pets carefully and prioritize safety at all times. In clients’ homes, I respect their routines and instructions closely to help pets stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I keep feeding schedules, walks, litter boxes, medications, and daily care consistent while also providing regular photo and video updates for peace of mind. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
About: Hi! I'm an animal lover with a remote job, giving me plenty of flexibility and free time to spend with your pet. I've been petsitting and housesitting since 2017, so I'm extremely experienced with many different types of animals, and I'd love to meet yours! I also adopted a dog of my own last year—a sweet and friendly Lab puppy named Cheddar. I grew up with a yellow lab and did most of his training work—I'm happy to teach your dog a new trick or reinforce regular training! I also lived with my sister and her dog for five years after college, frequently caring for her dog and house while she was away. After moving out, I fostered a 3-month-old husky/shepherd mix for a month, which was an amazing experience. Before adopting Cheddar, I spent over two and a half years traveling full-time as a housesitter, caring for pets all over the country. My goal is to create a pet care experience where both the pets and owner are happy and comfortable; I prioritize creating a secure and loving environment for your pets. If you would like to see additional references for my petsitting services, please let me know—I am happy to provide them upon request. For housesitting arrangements, I'm happy to provide the following services in addition to pet care: keeping the house clean and tidy, bringing in mail and packages, watering and maintaining plants, etc. As I work remote, I have plenty of time to care for pets and take them on walks at whatever time of day fits their schedule! I have a house with a HUGE fenced yard, and a very friendly pup who loves to play. I live within walking distance to dog parks and trails. For boarding services in my home, I ask that your dog be friendly with other dogs.
About: I have been working at a dog kennel for the past 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! My responsibilities include walking dogs, feeding, cleaning, and administering medication. I feel very comfortable around all kinds of dogs, and I know how to properly work with dogs with different personalities and needs. I work at the dog kennel 3-4 days a week but I am available in the morning, evenings, and overnight if needed. On the days I do not work I am available all day to walk and socialize with pets. I have a trip planned in August, so July and September are more open for me. In my home I have two dogs who are friendly and love company, we also have a big yard and lots of cozy dog beds. I am also available to stay at the pets home since that is usually more comfortable for them. I have house sat many times and dogs are often happier when they are in a familiar space. When I house sit I make sure to maintain a clean and safe environment within the home for the family and for the pets.
About: Hello! I am currently spending my summer in Moose working for Dornan's ranch. I would love to watch your pets in my free time! I have completed a Veterinary Technician course in which I administered medication and learned the proper care for smaller animals. I am more than happy to travel to your home to watch it/your pet as well. My schedule does vary, but for the most part I am working mornings and would be home around 5pm. I can work around my schedule to fit your needs, so just let me know what is most convenient for you. I am able to create or follow a consistent schedule just like you already have, making sure they have regular meals, play sessions, and quiet time to rest.

Thank you!”

“Annika is the most kind and compassionate Rover we’ve interacted with. We were in a pinch with a previous sitter falling through and she willingly helped us out last minute. She was also an amazing communicator, shared regular updates, and made us feel at ease living our pup with her. Annika has a very calming presence and our firework-anxious pup did very well with her over July 4th weekend. Highly recommend and am already looking for another time to book her.”

“Fantastic family to work with. So gentle with my Emma! Will rebook. They have a beautiful, serene setting. So gentle with my obstinate dog. Worked with me on my times to drop off and pick up.”
