About: I grew up in a homestead full of animals - dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I now have my own rescue dog, Laika, for the last 5 years. I have experience working with reactive dogs since my own is. If you use positive reinforcement in your training - I have treats for your pet! About: I have 5+ years in dog sitting and care. I was on rover previously before moving overseas but that profile no longer is available. I’ve always been involved in local shelters and rescues. Dogs are very important to our family, you can rest and relax daily knowing they are treated with love and care in our home. I’m happy to offer bath and brush out services as well. Maria was great! We were camping and needed a spot for Bella to stay while we attended a concert. Maria was more than welcoming to take Bella for a few hours in the evening! I’m always nervous with Bella and new people/places because she’s a bit more on the timid side. Maria sent me pictures and updates as Bella settled in, alleviating all my worries! Tavia was absolutely wonderful! She cared for my puppy, Penny, for two days while I was away for work, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, she was kind, communicative, and incredibly accommodating — even taking my request on short notice and staying flexible as my schedule shifted. Her home is perfect for dogs, with a secure fenced yard and direct access to a quiet, lush green park that’s ideal for playtime. Penny also loved spending time with Tavia’s sweet dog, Sully, and her kind, gentle children — they gave Penny plenty of play and attention, and she came home happy, calm, and completely tuckered out. After a long work trip, it was such a relief to pick up a well-cared-for, tired pup. I would trust Tavia again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!
