About: When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-o-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). I come from a long line of animal lovers and continue that legacy. You can check out my pets’ Instagram at @mystic_whiskers_ I am very attentive to animals and put them at ease so they settle into their home away from home. I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well. I have a fenced backyard and a dog and 2 cats. The cats have been around other dogs, and Eddy the dog loves other dogs- he has lots of energy to share!

That’s why I don’t take this responsibility lightly—your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort come first! I grew up with dogs and have spent my life around wagging tails and unconditional love. Whether your pup loves long walks FULL of sniffs, tug-of-war, or just cuddles on cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and at home. I’ve also cared for reactive dogs in the past—including my own—so I really understand how important it is to create a calm, safe space where they can feel secure. I know every pup is different, and I always lead with patience, empathy, and lots of love. Think of me as your dog’s vacation buddy while you're away💕 I work from home and am mostly always home during the evenings. I don’t have meetings too much so I can take your pup out and about as many times as you’d like. I have an apartment but live right beside a green space. I also love taking pups on car rides so happy to take them on hikes or go to the river!

About: Puppy sitting for my perfect nephew (Rocky) for the last five years in San Diego inspired me to help others in Richmond now that I call it my home. In college I fostered kittens that were too young to be adopted to help build socialization skills with people. I grew up always having both a dog and cat in the home and can’t wait to rescue someone of my own here soon 😊. I live and work in the Willow Lawn area and love to get out for many walks. I live an active life and love the outdoors. I am happily available for boarding, daycare or walks but currently prefer weekends over weekdays as I work from an office down the road from home. Advance notice to schedule boarding is greatly appreciated to plan ahead with my schedule. It is just me at home with a fenced in spacious backyard and quiet street full of neighborhood fur friends to meet along our walks!

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was a kid. My first dog was at the age of 6 and since then I haven’t been able to live a life without animals. My passion as a child was to be a vet, that did not end up happening but the love for animals has never faded. I had the pleasure of working for an animal hospital in my 20s, and worked with a rescue during that time and fostered abused and neglected dogs. I have had as many as 4 dogs of my own at once. I have dog sat and cat sat for many of my friends and family over the last two decades. Animals are a big part of my heart and there is nothing I love more than being with them and caring for them! I work from home so it is easy for me to care for your pup! Lots of walks and afternoon potty breaks are easy to do. They’ll get all the attention they need and more. Whatever your pup or cat needs I’ll be happy to provide. My own dog gets several walks a day, lots of treats puzzles for her mental stimulation and of course a quiet environment for relaxing. I am happy to adjust whatever fits the needs of your fur baby.
