“Tracy was amazing! He stepped in to watch my dad’s dog while our family was dealing with some health issues, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. He was incredibly responsive, gave our dog plenty of time and attention, and made the whole process worry-free. We truly appreciate his help and highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter.”

“Tonie was amazing! Super nice and very flexible! It really made me feel better knowing she could help me get my pup out for some exercise and socializing while I was at work!! I would definitely ask her to help out again!”

“Paris sent photos and a descriptive summary of my Kitty’s visits. Kitty went right up to her! Paris is an excellent communicator. We highly recommend Paris 😻”

“Amara was amazing! Even got my reclusive cat Soeren to come out for treats. Lily, of course, was her usual extroverted self and came out for lovies. So sad we only got to try her services once, but we will definitely recommend her to friends.”

“Lisa was great with our girls! Lucy required alot of special feeding and medication care which Lisa did well. Lucy is also very skittish with new people and, by day 2 she LOVED Lisa!! Would definitely request her services again and highly recommend!!”

“I couldn't be happier with how they looked after my boys! I have a cat and a German Shepherd, and they are VERY different personality wise. They seemed to immediately pick up on that, and treated them accordingly! I'll definitely ask them to watch my boys again!”

About: I've been helping out families I know with dog and cat sitting since 2020 and am ready to do it in a more formal way. ——- Here's the story: my behaviorally-complex bestie turned me into a dog trainer, and now my day job is helping other families like mine. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP). ——- I like to take things slow when I meet a new pet, unless they're not into that kind of thing and would rather go straight to sharing our personal space. I can take a hint...because I've spent time learning body language! ——— I believe in meeting an individual's needs based on their responses to activities. We can find all kinds of projects to fulfill your pet's physical, mental, and emotional needs. Enrichment is the key! ——- I also have lots of experience caring for reptiles and amphibians, and I share my home with two snakes. 🐍 I work full-time from home, and have a flexible work schedule. This makes it easier to fit caring for folks' pets in the comfort of their own home into my schedule. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, the comfort of the pet in front of me is my #1 concern. I love engaging pets with mentally stimulating activities that allow the expression of their natural behaviors. Since I build enrichment plans for pets for a living, I tend to find creative ways to incorporate what is available to help pets use their bodies and brains to have a good time.
“Our dogs are like our kids so for someone to come in and understand that is so amazing. Wes was very accommodating and put our minds at ease knowing our babies were taken care of with top tier care!”

“I contacted Natalie for a last minute visit and she was able to drop-in and check on our three pups. They were all content and everything was in place. It gives us peace of mind knowing that we don't have to rush back from an outing, our pups are all happy and cared for.”

About: Hello! I am new here at Rover. I’ve had dogs and cats all throughout my life. When I was a kid, I rehabilitated hurt animals that I found outside or on the road-caring is second nature for me. In 2018 I adopted my dog Beauty, a black mastiff whom I had for almost eight years and sadly, she recently passed away. She is missed by many!!! So I am here trying to get my pet fill. I will always provide great care for your pets. I can’t wait to get started and meet your pets! Monday through Thursday I am available 730pm-midnight. I am available Friday and Saturday 9 am until 330 P.M. Sunday I am mostly unavailable. May have some wiggle room in the late morning. While caring for your pet, I will be sure to always keep an eye on them. I am very attentive and follow your instruction and wishes. I respect you as well as your pets needs.

About: I'm extremely patient with any dog. I always make sure they fell comfortable around me before I do anything! I am a strong walker! I also know how to make the most out of any time spent with a dog! Pet care is my number one priority for an animal I take care of! I will always make sure that the animal is the top priority when we go anywhere. I always put the dogs safety before my own. I will watch for other dogs and loose animals when we go on walks. When sitting in the past I let the parent know of the times I let the dog out or do anything with the animal. I will send many cute pictures for updates of what is going on!
“My 2 cats were nervous and hid under the bed when she came to visit. She worked with them and spent time earning their trust. She sent pictures each day. and her communication relieved much stress from leaving my cats for a week.”

About: Hello fellow dog owners! My name is Kevin and I am a fun, loving dog person! My partner and I are new to Fort Wayne, recently moving here from Anchorage, Alaska (yes, we drove!). With a 14 year old senior pooch of my own, I understand the incredible bond we have with our beloved friends. I have had Brita since she was 2 months old, and now that she is a subtle senior, her and I have built a friendship that is forever lasting. Having to leave your best friend at home alone is one of the greatest fears and anxieties a pet owner could imagine! That is why I want to help out other dog owners and make sure your fur-baby is well taken care of and provided for, so you can feel stress free. Having a pet of my own has really built up a trust of my circle around me. Friends and family members feel comfortable asking me to watch their animal from time to time, which is a very rewarding feeling. With me your pooch will have plenty of play time, walks and many belly rubs! UPDATE: My partner and I recently adopted a 4-month-old Beagle puppy named Juno! My amazing senior dog, Brita (my trusty co-pilot), has completely embraced her role as big sister and is already helping teach Juno the house rules. Welcoming a new puppy into our home has brought back so many great memories from when Brita was little, while also giving me hands-on experience with puppy training all over again. It's been a wonderful reminder of the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement that help young dogs thrive! Whether you have an energetic new puppy or a sweet senior dog, I'm confident I can provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to their needs. My experience caring for both a senior dog and a growing puppy has given me a deeper understanding of how to meet dogs where they are at every stage of life :) I am currently not working, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pup! I am available during the week and most weekends. When I am at a clients home, I make sure I ask all the necessary questions, and follow their detailed instructions for their pet. I care for them the same way I would at my house. All the attention! Having used Rover for my own dog, I am the type of person that needs reassurance that my pet is okay. I will send you all of the photos, videos and texts that will keep your mind calm. It is a huge safety factor for me to know my animal is being taken care of.

Katie has been absolutely amazing with Lyla! She is very considerate with my instructions, and cares deeply for my fur baby. I have always felt comfortable knowing that Katie will take great care of Lyla when I’m busy at work. She has incredible communication skills and goes above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone! Leaving your pet in the care of another can be scary, but Katie puts me at ease knowing Lyla is being loved like her own.

100% recommend Jennifer. We have a very nervous 50 pound Bernie doodle that likes to bark ferociously at strangers, but Jennifer was able to calm her down even though she was the first person to ever enter our house when we weren’t home and let the dogs out! She made sure they had sufficient time outside and even walk the yard with them. She brought them to their water and food bowls, and encouraged them to eat and drink. Then sat with them on the floor and gave them both individual attention. We are honestly overjoyed with the care that she provided and we will use her again, so should you!
