“Marley had a wonderful stay over the Winter holidays with Mary. She was well taken care of and loved every minute while we were gone. Mary sent us daily text messages with photos and videos, and she let us know what Marley was up to. Marley played and played and played with the other dogs, she was so happy!! When there was a chance that we might miss our flight home, Mary put our mind at ease and told us not to worry one bit about Marley. We will send Marley to Mary in the future without hesitation. About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

Our 11 yr old dog is a big anxious girl who gets vertigo very easily. Alex made her feel right at home, put her at ease, and was able to catch her signs of a dizzy episode and medicated her exactly how we would have at home. Alex is a great host and will gladly send lots of pictures and updates that put any worries one might have aside. About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
