I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: For nearly 20years I’ve been caring for animals of all types. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Reptiles, and just about everything in between. Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers and Clients have relied on me to care for their furry family members & I’ve had furry family members of my own my whole life. I have worked with all ages and sizes, and am comfortable with pets with disabilities or medical needs. For the past 16years I’ve cared for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional. I am currently doing that as a part-time night shift, so I am available most days and eves, during the week and on weekends! I have loved many forms of my own pets and understand the importance of safety and trust that comes with caring for another’s loved one. I currently plan to do pet walking, play dates, and sitting in your home. May consider overnight stays. May consider boarding on case by case basis. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 16. I work for Charleston Animal Society. Examples of care; walking them, to giving them medicine (if needed), feeding them, making sure they have water, don’t overheat, have basically everything they need as they are with me, to having them for sleep overs, and staying with them for however long was needed. Animals are my top priority. At the moment I have a full time job, but have weekends off. I plan to entail doing this on my weekends and even after work days. This is more then just making it my routine. I adore animal(s). I have a fenced in yard, I as well have a crate. Plenty of opportunities for walking adventures.
