With a deep love for pets and years of experience, I ensure their safety, happiness, and well-being. I am attentive to their health, behavior, and comfort, providing a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Whether it's regular care or special needs, I am dedicated to giving your pets the best possible care. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, seamlessly integrated into my schedule. Each day, I prioritize time for feeding, walking, and playing with pets, ensuring they receive consistent attention and care. Morning and evening routines are dedicated to feeding and exercising, while midday is often reserved for check-ins, additional walks, or playtime, depending on the pet's needs. On a weekly basis, I set aside specific times for health checks, and more in-depth activities like cleaning their living spaces if necessary. This routine not only keeps pets healthy and happy but also helps build a strong bond between us. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to adjust to any changes in their needs or accommodate special requests, ensuring that pet care remains a top priority in my life. When caring for pets in my home, I create a comfortable, safe, and stimulating environment tailored to their needs. I set up designated areas for sleeping, playing, and eating, ensuring they have plenty of space to move around. Daily routines include feeding with appropriate nutrition, regular walks, playtime to keep them mentally and physically active, I also provide a calm atmosphere, minimizing stress by keeping a consistent routine and offering lots of affection. For in-home care at a client’s residence, I focus on maintaining the pet’s familiar environment and routine to reduce anxiety. I adhere strictly to the feeding, walking, and play schedules provided by the owner. I keep the home tidy, clean up after the pet, and ensure their living areas are organized and safe. I’m attentive to any signs of discomfort or health issues, ready to contact the owner or a vet if needed. My goal is to provide a seamless transition for the pet, making sure they feel secure and loved even when their owner is away.

About: I have about 6 years of experience taking care of pets. I have been dog sitting for about 6 years and am very comfortable with messy pets and have no problem cleaning. I have only taken care of dogs and cats but very willing to take care of any animal. I am also comfortable to take care of aggressive animals as the dogs that I have taken care of for 6 years can be a little aggressive towards people and animals since they are not that social. I’m currently a stay at home mom who loves pets and has been taking care of my moms 3 big dogs for almost 8 years I have a big back yard where my moms dogs play when they come over so they can burn off all their energy and there is a lot of squirrels outside to keep them entertained.

“I was able to enjoy my vacation because Mel was conscientious and dependable. He took great care of my two cats and sent pictures every day. He even cleaned up their messes! I appreciate his care and will be ready to book another time.”

“We had to fly out for a three-day trip on very short notice. We have two cats: a 13-year-old diabetic orange cat who we call our "love sponge," and a thee-year-old lever, mischievous tortie. Morgan understood the assignment. She had not given insulin to a cat before. I showed her how to do it, left written instructions, and all insulin doses went well. The cats were happy and healthy when we returned. My diabetic cat had a veterinarian appointment when we returned, and his glucose and neutrophils were within a good range.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Southwest
I had a great experience with Ashley and would absolutely recommend her. She followed all of my instructions carefully, took excellent care of my dogs, and was very attentive to their needs. This was my first time using in-home pet care, I was nervous about having someone in my home, but she was incredibly respectful of my space and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She made sure my home was secured properly when she left, including locking everything up as instructed. Communication was great, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my pets’ well-being. Thank you for being reliable, trustworthy, and professional!
