I always have been around cats and dogs all of my life. I first started to volunteer at San Antonio Humane Society in 2021 and previously wanted to start a career in Vet Med but decided to switch to Forensic Science. I’ve learned how to work with sick patients, surgery after care, medication administration, pet diabetes, reactive pets, and even can help with livestock cleaning and feeding ^~^

When I care for your fur babies in your home, I will always keep in touch with you on their condition and will let you know if anything happens ASAP. If there are medications to be administered I will keep a written log of time and date it was given. On top of that I always monitor daily water and food intake to see if there is any changes that may occur.

We were in town for work and really wanted to bring our 16 weeknold Cavapoo with us as we just adopted him. We reached out to Ashley before arriving in San Antonio to ensure she had availability. We read reviews of various sitters and decided on Ashley. Upon I still contact right up to picking up our fur son, we felt comfortable. She was very accommodating and had a wonderful vide from initial contact up to when we picked up our puppy. We definitely will use her again if we are in town again. If she lived by us, we would hire her a a lot!
Ashely immediately established a positive rapport with our possibly difficult dog and continued building that relationship throughout her contract. Both our dog and cat were well and fine upon our arrival home. Ashley's communication was thorough and consistent. Doppler got walked at least once each day weather permitting. Both dog and cat received good interaction and playtime each day. We recommend Ashely to anyone for either dog or cat care.
I had a great experience with Ashley and would absolutely recommend her. She followed all of my instructions carefully, took excellent care of my dogs, and was very attentive to their needs. This was my first time using in-home pet care, I was nervous about having someone in my home, but she was incredibly respectful of my space and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She made sure my home was secured properly when she left, including locking everything up as instructed. Communication was great, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my pets’ well-being. Schedule
I am currently between jobs and can do multiple daily check ins / walking. Im always fostering kittens at home so I am definitely constantly moving ^~^
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsAshley can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- *FOR ALL PETS* Please let me know what medications your pet takes (what time, how many times a day or if it’s every other day, and dosage. Also if it’s oral, SQ, ear medications, or eye medication.), their behaviors before hand (like dog, cat, or human reactivity) and if possible proof of current vaccination records in case something does happen. *FOR ADULT DOG* I will need the date of current Rabies vaccination due to the fact of Bexar county requiring all pets over 4 months of age to have this initial vaccine. It’s just in case if something does happen. That way if animal control gets involved and I would hate for your pet to be on mandatory 10 day bite quarantine. *FOR PUPPIES* I will need a proof of up to date of all DHPP ( also known as DAPP) records due to high possibility of parvo and distemper exposure if walking outdoors. These viruses are extremely dangerous and I would 100% hate if your pet suddenly got sick from it. My priority is their safety and wellness / wellbeing when they are with me.
