Desi B.

“This was our first time using Rover. We had a meet & greet with Desi a few days before our trip. She did a great job caring for our 2 pups while we were away. Desi provided timely, detailed updates with photos after each visit. She was extremely patient with Lucy, our anxious rescue pup who is scared of new people. Both of our pups were happy & heathy upon our return. I would definitely recommend booking with Desi!”

About: I am wife and mom to 2 little girls and mom to 2 dogs and a handful of fish :) I have had cats since I was a kid and have been crazy about animals ever since. As an adult, I got my first dog and then another. My husband and I have been through basic, intermediate, and advanced training with each of our dogs. I have watched family and friend’s pets in the past as well as volunteered at the shelter in town—one of my dogs came from that very shelter! I am an all-around animal lover. I am the person that pulls over for any type of animal I see running around, and I always seem to have strays find me looking for their way home. I currently work from home 50-75% of the time, so I am available for short periods throughout the day for walks or potty breaks. My weekends can be available for more care. I am open to 24 hour house sitting or just drop ins/walks. I will be unable to care for dogs in my own home, because one of my dogs is scared of other dogs. In your home, I will be sure to follow the schedule you have given and clean up as needed. I am happy to have a lazy day inside or throw the ball around outside! If your pets like kids, my girls would love to give them some attention as well!

Sidni O.
“Sidni was phenomenal. We were in a bind to find a dog sitter same day. She was quick to respond and was super flexible. She took awesome care of the puppers and even sent us some photos of them while on her visit. Would highly recommend 100/10”

Tia W.

“Tia does such a great job with our kitties while we are gone! She goes above and beyond trying to troubleshoot any issues that pop up too. She is a lifesaver!”

Taylor G.
“Taylor in general is an awesome individual. She is the type that puts everyone else's needs ahead of her own, including her own furry friends and those that she had cared for. She is very attentive to details, you expect her to complete the tasks as requested. Her personal schedule right now allows flexibility and the ability to spend time doing the job you her to do! I would highly recommend Taylor to care for your furry family members the next time you need to be away.”

Samantha S.

“Thank you so much for helping us out. We were very relieved to have your assistance on short notice. You did a fabulous job with prompt communication, and follow up. We will definitely contact you again. We felt very confident. Thank you so much!!”

Sarah K.

“Sarah was so great with my animals! She came and met them before she was supposed to watch them and they came right up to her. It was so nice for the dogs to stay in their own environment since they're old and become stressed easily, and I especially loved all the photos she sent. I will be booking again with her!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and always helped care for them. My childhood dog was a 200lb Saint Bernard and I currently have two older pitbull mixes who were rescues, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. 🙃 My schedule changes every week, as I make my own schedule. I can take breaks to let dogs out or do walks. It honestly just depends on the day but I have plenty of flexibility! I have crate trained my dogs, so I am familiar with this. I have also had to work with my own dogs with territorial behaviors and food aggression.

Brittney W.
“Brittney has been an animal lover her whole life. She is kind and patient with all dogs. She has their health and well-being on her mind, while ensuring they are cared for and sometimes spoiled.”

About: I have over 15 years of animal care experience - between growing up on farms, working in animal Healthcare and Animal Control, volunteering, extensive rescue work, local TNR, and pet sitting for family/friends. *You can confidently leave your animals care in my hands, especially in special need cases. My experience is well-rounded with medicine administration, differing animal temperaments, training, and Schedule flexibility! Feel free to ask me ANYTHING that will help build trust and comfort...that is most important when it comes to placing care of our furbabies in another's hands! I am currently working from home with great flexibility within my schedule. I am currently available for all hours or daily needs. I will keep this updated to reflect! I am able to provide in-home day care, drop in visits, or walks, to any and all of your amimals! Not limited to only dogs/cats! I also have two friendly dogs of my own that can come along for play dates, or provide company in the case that I watch your smaller dog in my own home. In this case, dog must be 25lbs or less and get along w dogs/cats. Please feel open to ask me anything!

Breanna S.

“Bre did a great job giving all our kitties attention and one on one time! One of our girls is so shy when it's not her parents and Bre did everything she could to make her feel loved while we were away and get her to eat something. Definitely recommend as a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had experience with cats, dogs, and small animals my whole life. I currently have two dogs and a bunny. 110lbs Rottweiler, so I have experience with big dogs. But also a 20lbs Miniature Dachshund so I can also handle those little guys too. Pet care is an every day occurrence. I let my dogs out to play and potty breaks. But also keeping up with a feeding schedule too I always keep an eye on my dogs even when they’re outside just to extra cautious. Don’t leave them unattended for to long so they can’t get into things they’re not supposed to be in.

Benjamin C.
“Ben is awesome!! He watched my dogs (and cat) for a weekend. Both of my dogs are rescues, and one can be a bit skiddish and scared. Ben was so great with her!!! He has a special gift with doggies and wasn’t intimidated or worried about my dogs. He sent picture updates. I also wrote out specific details for my dogs’ care, and he did awesome with that as well. My dogs have their routine, so it was great having someone watch them and take care of their needs. I’d recommend him.”

Molly & Devin C.
About: I used to work in an animal shelter for several years and we have two pups of our own. We have had so much help loving on our pups we would love to return the favor! My boyfriend and I are students and are home a lot this summer so we are flexible and would love to work with you to take care of your pets stress free! We have two dogs but are willing to separate them if that would make them more comfortable, but we are flexible to hang in your home or ours to make sure your pups are stress free and loved while you are gone!

Tony M.
About: As a child, I grew up in a house with cats. Fostered an elderly canine for a family member about 15 years ago, and now have 2 dogs in a loving home in Sioux City, Iowa. I'm a full time care provider for a family member and have flexible scheduling after leaving careers where I would routine work 60-plus hours a week. I enjoy the change. I have a great personality for working with cats and dogs. My dogs would most likely not be the best hosts for new pets, so I will travel to you.

Payton M.
“I started traveling for work and needed someone to stay with my dog and cat 3 days/week. My schedule was random, never the same consistently week to week. I gave Payton the schedule, and never once had to check to make sure she knew she was staying at my house. She is incredibly reliable. She sent pictures of my dog while out on walks, and always texted if she had any concerns. She even texted one night because she noticed my neighbors had their garbage cans at the curb, and she asked if I’d like her to put my cans by the street. She is so responsible and my dog, Benjamin, goes BANANAS when he sees her, because she is AWESOME!!!”

Aidan G.
“Hello Rover! Aidan is a passionate animal lover! He is always looking for ways to help animals in anyway he can and understands the love they need from a human. He has been volunteers for The Humane Society, a foster Home and adopted his own. Aidan would be a great pet sitter because he would give your pet the love and attention they are missing from their family while they are away! There will be lots of running, visits to dog parks, and play time!”

Liz S.
“Exceptional care! She is super thorough, follows routines and needs of the owner (and dog) and provides a lot of support and care! I am very happy to have her sit for my Bruitus.”

Cheyanne D.
“Cheyanne is an absolutely amazing individual who truly loves, cares, and compassionate for every dog she has owned or helped with. There have been several occasions that I know of in which she has corralled dogs wandering the neighborhood in order to contact their parents. She is completely understanding that not all dogs have the same capabilities and need special care or attention.”

Chaise P.
“Chaise is one of the more caring individuals I know. This care and love absorbs and extends beyond her relationship with dogs. I’m not sure I’ve met someone who loves them as much as she does and if there was ever a person that would enjoy this job and ensure to knock it out of the park, it’s Chaise. She is by far more than capable and likely the best possible person for this position.”
