Impressed my mom with your kindness and you showed up/had pictures for proof. I think you helped me sell her on using Rover services more often! She handled four dogs, two of whom she didn't have a chance to meet, with ease. Would use her services again!

Summer was able to check in on our pup at the last min and even offered to check in on him the evening before during a big storm. Alleviated so much of our stress. We are so thankful for her!

So glad we were able to book last minute with Elsie! She was flexible with time and met with us prior to her checking in with our pups. Pictures and information were provided through the app and she communicated well. Thank you again, Elsie!

About: I have owned dogs for 12+ years and I have three of them. 2 shitzhus and a lab. I also have 2 cats as of last year. I have dog sat for my friends family many times and have never had any issues. I get along with dogs so well, I’ve been called the dog whisperer. I have looked after fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, lizards, hermit crabs. Because I have animals, they have to be apart of my routine. Starts with waking up, feeding all of them, letting the dogs outside, checking if they need water, and maybe a little play session before I have to get started with my day. Periodically letting them outside to go to the bathroom and to get some fresh air. Feeding them at dinner time and repeating the morning steps. Just hanging out with them. I am pretty much willing to be constantly around the animals if need be. I will play with them, take them outside, feed them, give them the attention they need, walk them, and just hang out with them.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 8 years I have my own dog who just turned 2. The very first dog I ever adopted was kind of “scary” looking and played aggressively she was very sassy and didn’t enjoy the company of other dogs or people (she sadly passed away 2 years ago). While my current puppers is hyper active but has extreme anxiety and loves being around people and other pets. I also often petsit my best friends doggo who is a senior and disabled, he can’t use his back two legs and has a lot of medical issues. I know and understand how to work with dogs of all personalities :) I’m working on getting my GED right now so I have a lot of free time lately. I can work on my classes any time during the day so my schedule is pretty open. I can kennel your dog if needed, take them on walks, feed them, play with them, even cuddle with them!! Our fur babies get lonely too!

Tia goes above and beyond caring for our kitties. She asks about them to see how they are doing. Her and the kids give them lots of love and attention while we are gone. They are so much happier than they were when we would leave them alone. We have a kitty that requires 3-4 visits a day right now, and we realize that can be asking a lot, but Tia is more than willing to help and take care of them. We appreciate her so much and her willingness to help!

About: I have worked for a dog breeder for 5 years. This included feeding, lots of cleaning, daily grooming, training, and loving on dogs of course. I also have experience in giving medication and grooming dogs. I currently am working a part-time job in the summer so I will have scheduled days of the week when I work there and so I will have lots of time for drop-ins and dog walking. I will care for your pets in your home by following the exact routine that they give me and make sure to keep things as normal and stress free as possible! I will make sure that they are fed, watered, get plenty of exercise, love, and attention. I will also keep the home clean and tidying up after the pet and making sure their food and water bowl areas stay neat. I will respect my client's space as if it were my own and follow any specific instructions they leave. I will treat every home and pet like my own!

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and truly enjoy getting to know each one’s individual personality. My goal is to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, loved, and—most importantly—happy while you’re away. I’m happy to keep active dogs busy with walks, running, fetch, playtime, and trips to the off-leash dog park when appropriate, while more laid-back pups can expect plenty of belly rubs, attention, and snuggles. I also enjoy working on basic commands and teaching new tricks, so your pup might even have something new to show you when you get home! I understand that every dog has different needs, routines, energy levels, and boundaries, and I make a point of giving each dog individual attention rather than treating every pet the same. I’ll follow your care instructions and do my best to keep their routine familiar and stress-free while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident about the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your pups with the same patience, affection, and attention I would want for my own. I can’t wait to meet them! Caring for pets is already a big part of my everyday life. I love spending my free time walking, playing, cuddling, and just hanging out with them. I’m very easygoing, calm, and attentive, and your pet’s care and comfort are always my top priority. Potty breaks are one of the first things I take care of, and love, playtime, and attention are never in short supply! I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for, whether they’re in my home or their own. My goal is to become a familiar, trusted friend that your pet is genuinely excited to see again!

About: My parents and Uncle/Aunt home raised/bred German Shepherds and Doberman Pinchers since I was born. I learned to take care of them, train them, play with them, and love them. We also had pets in the home all my life. My parents later home raised/bred Shih Tzus. I then found my own Shih Tzu and my daughter wanted a Yorkie. My daughter and I then home raised/bred Shorkies. I currently have my dogs and a Ragdoll cat. I'll never be able to have a home without a furry family for myself and my children they are a great source of relaxation, stress release, and unconditional love. I have complete respect of all animals and of their feelings because I believe they feel what we feel. I am currently working on my Master's in Social Work program. I am also being a Mom to my human kids and my furry kids. I would care for someone else's furry kid like my own. Pets to me love us unconditionally and support us emotionally. They are always there when we need them.

About: I'm a pet lover by nature. I've been a pet "mom" to dogs and cats since I've been young. My pets are my family and tend to be a bit spoiled. I also care for others like they are my own. I'm a nurse and work 3 days a week which allows me plenty of time to care for your furry friend. I am able to provide care on short notice and am flexible with the needs of clients. I currently have a cat that I love more than anything. I am open to care for dogs in my home and care for your furry friend in your home to keep your pet in a routine that they are used to.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 55 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Bronson. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Bronson stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
