About: I am currently on a pre veterinarian track at Jacksonville University. I have always loved working with animals from the zoo to vet clinics to my own animals. I have always loved to spend time with animals which is why I have decided to sign up for rover. About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember! I’ve rescued every pet imaginable at one point or another! I’ve volunteered at FCNMHP for over 10 years and I’m very active in finding every pet a forever home! I’ve worked at Publix for over 21 years and I am currently a manager on the south side of Jacksonville. I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and I’m able to take breaks when needed. I am free most evening during the week and weekend. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t fall in love with! Every animal deserves a full bowl of food and water, lots of pets, an unconditional love. There’s no such thing as an ending to the game of Fetch!

About: I’ve been house and pet sitting for many years to help my family and friends. It’s time to be rewarded for my love for animals and be paid by others for my services. It’s hard to find good “customer service” these days; I am the opposite, your pets will get great service/attention from ME! Bonus: my career has been as an Administrative Assistant so I’m very organized and can assist with other things too, if needed, requested and discussed. I am currently unemployed and have all the time in the world to care for my pet and yours. Toodles of course would stay home. Toodles is an inside cat. She is proven healthy and well fed, I clean the litter box and her food bowls daily. She gets treats and love. We just bought her a new perch to watch the birds and lizards outside the window. In someone else’s home with their pets, I care for them exactly as asked. Walks, feed, love, crate (if necessary), it is what the client wants that their pet shall get!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.
About: I’ve taken care of my personal dogs as well as family dogs for years. I love to play with them and just sit and cuddle with them as well. I am currently a graduate student at Jacksonville University. I am available after 2pm everyday, and on the weekends I can do all day! Evan is a spectacular rover! He took such amazing care of our dogs. One of our dogs is very shy and unsure around new people and barks a ton but he warmed up very quickly to Evan during the meet and greet due largely to Evan’s calm demeanor and great way with animals. He took amazing care of our house and even helped us fix an issue with our pool pump leak while we were away. We are so glad to have found Evan and look forward to his next visit with our pups!
Absolutely Wonderful!! I think our puppies were sad to see us return! Sarah was excellent! Played with our high energy border collies for a solid week and kept us in the loop about how they were all doing. We highly recommend Sarah and hope she can take care of our dogs again- I know our dogs hope so too!
Maverick was amazing with our two Shibas. He was super responsive, respectful of our property, and great with the boys. Our fur babies can be quirky and he followed all of our instructions. The boys were happy and healthy when we got home. I think he really treated them well and we will absolutely book with him if the need ever arises again!
Bayli was absolutely amazing watching our two dogs over the weekend! She was incredibly communicative and responsive the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She sent tons of pictures and updates, and it was clear our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. She also took great care of our home and kept everything clean and in order, which we really appreciated coming back home to. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and goes above and beyond to make sure both the pets and owners feel comfortable. We would 100% trust her with our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring dog sitter!
MAISY IS WONDERFUL! Honestly can’t say enough great things about my experience. Since it was my first time using Rover I was a bit nervous but she exceeded my expectations. She communicated constantly, sent me photos and had no issue sleeping on my couch with him (he’s a cuddler and needs the love). Also spent time real quality time with him outside, giving him his favorite bones and giving him lots of head scratches! I was skeptical because she only had one review at the time but it’s clear that experience was due to negligence from the owner who deliberately told lies. Dont be fooled, Maisy is an amazing dog sitter and human being. Thank you Maisy!
Lyndsay is amazing!! She took care of our Sigi as if she was her own. She also stayed the night and made sure she was comfortable and took very good care of our house. Lyndsay is reliable and prompt in her communication and took care with medication and supplement instructions. We will be using her again soon and highly recommend her!!! Atreyu took amazing care of Nico and we couldn’t be happier. He followed every single instruction carefully, kept us updated throughout the stay, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Communication was excellent from start to finish. He sent regular updates and clearly paid close attention to Nico’s routines and needs. It’s obvious he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. On top of that, he left our place in excellent condition. Everything was clean, organized, and just as we left it. We would absolutely trust Atreyu again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive, and reliable sitter.
This was the second time Jess stayed over to watch our pup, and once again she was great. She was punctual, communicated promptly throughout, and confirmed details earlier in the week since the stay had been planned for about a month.
