Love animals tolerate humans! LOL
Started pet/house sitting 10 years ago for my best friend. She and I have been friends for 40 plus years and she asked would I be interested in pet/ house sitting for her. I did it and had so much fun! She had at that time 1 cat and 2 dogs. She commented that she couldn’t even tell I had been there as her home was clean and tidy when she and her husband returned. Which was not the case with other people she had sit prior. My son has 2 dogs, a Husky and a rescue. The Husky is 15 years old, so very gentle with her and spoil her a little. She loves to go outside but since my son no longer has a fenced in backyard the dogs have to be on a leash. I tend to take them out a lot just to spend time outside. I apologize for the pics not having me in them. I do send pics of the pets to their owners while I’m sitting but generally don’t include myself. I will work on that! I’m not a social media fan, so generally don’t do lots of pics of myself.

It’s important to me that your pets keep the same schedule they normally have. If your pet sleeps with you then I am happy to have them sleep with me. I love to take them out for walks!! When sitting my priority is your pet. I stay 24/7 in your home with your pet. If I leave it would be for a meet and greet with a new client that cannot wait till the sit is finished or maybe some quick errand.

Cathryn watched my dog Gracie for 12 days. She was amazing with her and sent me pictures and an update daily. She even had a little birthday party for her since I could not be there with her. I would highly recommend her and will not hesitate using her in the future.
I believe things went well overall. I would have liked more updates on how my dog was doing throughout the day knowing how anxious he is. I did get updates each morning but not much after that unless I asked. And no update on the last morning before she left. I had to ask for an update after my plane landed 3 hours after she left. I expressed during our meet and greet that this was only the second time leaving my dog and that he would be anxious and so would I, so I requested regular updates on how he was doing. And requested that again a few days before I left and again on the morning I left. More updates would have definitely helped ease my mind while I was away.
Cathryn took great care of our cat, Floyd, and our new (very energetic) dog, Daisy! She had been thorough with all communications and overall, a joy to work with. Our dog has some separation anxiety and Cathryn has been generous with her time, staying with her! We look forward to booking with her in the future.

I can’t speak highly enough of Cathryn! She took such great care of our two Frenchies, and our home, while we were out of the country for two weeks. We knew they were in good hands and we appreciated her taking care of some things around our home.
Cathryn was an excellent sitter for our two dogs. She took very good care of them -- meals, treats and dog walking. There was plenty of snuggle time, too. She left an immaculate house. We will definitely ask Cathryn to sit for us again. Fortunate to have her! Thanks Cathryn!

Programa
Looking to do something I truly love and enjoy. Last summer I retired and relocated, but want to stay busy and productive. Pet/house sitting seems like the perfect opportunity for me.
