About: Hi! I’m Lauren, and I’ve loved and cared for dogs my entire life. I was lucky to have my own dog for 15 wonderful years, and through that experience, I’ve learned the ins and outs of daily care, training, and providing a loving, safe environment. Whether it’s going on long walks, giving belly rubs, or sticking to a pup’s routine, I treat every dog like family. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog, and I’m here to offer dependable, attentive care when you need it most. I’m currently between jobs, which means I have full availability to dedicate to your pet’s care. I’m home and flexible 24/7, so I can easily accommodate your dog’s schedule—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets is a rewarding and natural part of my daily routine right now. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs—whether it’s feeding schedules, exercise, medications, or just extra cuddles. In your home, I make sure to respect your space and keep everything clean and consistent for your pet. In my home, pets get a calm, cozy environment where they’re treated like family. I pay close attention to behavior and body language so I can respond to their needs and help them feel secure and loved.

“Sooo lucky to have found Rebecca. She has been phenomenal. I know I am leaving my little one in great hands every time I need to travel for work. By little I mean my 110lb baby. I can't say enough great things about Rebecca I was always nervous leaving my little guy with someone since he can be a handful, but I know I don't have to worry about him when I am not around. I am sure you will be just as happy as I am.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for the last 25+ years! I’m super patient and will always show your dog the love they need. I look forward to meeting your pup. I work from home and my hours are very flexible. I’m available short notice, super flexible, and would love to make a connection to help out with care for your animal. I will love your pet like they are my own! Treats, walks, belly rubs, playtime... I'll be sure to give them whatever they may need.

“Shona was amazing. She was able to help at the last minute, and helped me with my cat's feeding, litter and social needs! I will definitely book her again, and unreservedly recommend her to anyone!”

“Cynthia was so very lovely and made sure Hugo got quality playtime and even watered my flowers! She is a gem and definitely would have her check in on Hugo again. Thanks again!”

“Erica was wonderful with our dogs! One of our dogs is very shy, and Erica was able to bring her out of her shell a bit to go on walks. She sent really thorough updates and gave one of the dogs eye drops with no problem as well. She was friendly and did an excellent job!”

About: New to Rover but not to pet care! I’ve owned dogs and cat all my life. I’m home full time with a fenced-in yard and a very friendly dog who loves making friends! My profile may show a cat in home - but that is my MIL cat I found boarding for. We only have 1 dog in house! Pets in my care can receive lots of attention and playtime.. or space to relax if that’s what they’re into. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and sizes and enjoy making them feel at home. My 7-year-old son is great with animals, and our home is full of energy, cuddles, and fun. Whether your pup loves fetch, belly rubs, or just a cozy nap, they’ll feel right at home here! I’m home full time, so your pup will not be lonely! I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to play, snuggle, and give your dog the attention they deserve. Your dog will be treated like family in our home! I have a fully fenced yard for safe playtime and a friendly, well-socialized dog who gets along great with other pups (and even cats!). My son is respectful with animals, and we are happy to follow your pet’s routine, crate if needed, and make sure they feel safe, secure, and right at home.

About: I am passionate about keeping my own dog well cared for and in great shape (she gets walked twice a day and we frequently go on long distance hikes together!) and would love to help do the same for your pet. I also know how anxious it often makes my wife and I feel when we have to leave our dog alone at home for extended periods, so if you've ever felt that way yourself and would like to have someone come and visit/check in on them or need a place to board them, I'm there for you! My full-time job is seasonal so for the summer my schedule during the week is quite open for you! Starting in mid-August I'll be available afternoons and evenings for you and your pet! I am happy to play with your dog inside or outside depending on your/their preference, and I can easily match their energy level. I'll administer any treats or food needed per your instructions and make sure your dog feels at ease (and hopefully a little more tired!) when I leave for the day.

“George was amazing! He stopped over to meet our pups before completing the drop-in visit. Detailed rover card of the visit. 100% will be booking with George again.”

“Cassie did an exceptional job of taking care of our two cats! And she played with the one who would come out (the other one hid, but we think in time he will come out:) Cassie talked to him for us and that was good for him and she filled his treat game:) We really are very happy for Cassie to be with Rover and to be our cat sitter!”

About: I have had a dog in my life ever since I was a kid, and have loved and cared for them ever since. Always been like family to me. I will treat your dog the same, I assure you. I have volunteered at shelters in the past, as well as working at a doggie day care and have watched dogs on and off again also. Right now we live with an amazing mutt named Leslie who is 7 and her goofball Corgi cousin Peri who is 4. Right now I am in between things, so I am open to most days, especially sheltering at home as long as your dog is okay hanging with ours. At our home we have 2 dogs, with a fenced in yard and walkable, friendly neighborhood. I will definitely spend as much time as I can with them, and do whatever you need. Like I said, I treat dogs like they're my good friends or family.

“Elaine was thorough in our meet/greet and did everything she could to learn about my cat. It’s great to have someone I trust nearby.”

About: I’ve watched dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I’ve been a pet owner most of my life. I have watched all ages, sizes, and breeds. Since I’m a freelancer, my schedule is extremely flexible. Here to help! Work with big and small dogs and old and young dogs regularly. Let me know ahead of time if you have any special instructions for your pets. Whether it’s a specific dietary restriction or a medication, it’s important I know what I’m getting into before I accept a gig. Open to staying at people’s houses for extended periods if needed. My schedule is flexible due to my freelancer life. I can set routines with your pets if needed. I’m great at following instructions and will make sure to communicate with you updates. Whatever you need, I got you covered. I’ll visit your home and follow whatever routine you provide me for your fur baby. If dogs are allowed to go on adventures, I like taking them to dog parks or petco for a treat. It’s important to make sure your pet is exercised, fed, and ready to nap so when you come home your pup or kitty will be happy to see you.

About: I have been around dogs since I was a baby. My current dogs have PTSD, meaning I understand how to handle special needs pets. I would love to care for your pets. I have no job, meaning I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. Even though i’m unable to keep them at my own house, I am fully willing to watch them at yours. My own pets don’t particularly enjoy visitors. My two dogs have post traumatic stress disorder. They came from a bad place, and ever since I adopted them, I have been rehabilitating them. Many pets take patience and love to come out of their shells. Years later, my dogs are feeling a lot better, even if they’re still scared of loud noises.

“Vincent and I worked at a doggie day care together years ago, and it was a great experience! His customer service skills extended to the owners and dogs that choose to board or opt in for doggie day care. I could always count on him to remain focused, level-headed, and attentive no matter how many dogs we worked with each day. For private dog sitting, these skills continue to remain a constant. He is an excellent dog dad and understands that some dogs have unique needs or personalities.
