I work part time and am looking for a side job that I love and keeps me active! I’m dedicated to giving the best care with the time I have. Ideally I would keep pets at their house or go for walks close by but I have a fenced in back yard that we might visit on walks if permitted by owner! I don’t have my own car but I do drive so I’m open for walks in new areas as well (waterfront, dog parks, etc).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl, including my special needs diabetic schnauzer, helping with insulin injections and pills. Now I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. We love to walk by the outer harbor and play outside when the weather is nice! I’m a 4th year medical student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have daily availability and lots of energy for walks and playtime with your fur babies! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I live in an apartment near the outer harbor. I prefer staying at a client’s house where your pets will be most comfortable! We love to go for walks and I have experience walking up to 3 dogs at once on my waist leash.

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. Their safety is my top priority, and I stay alert to make sure they don’t get into anything dangerous, such as trash, bones, or anything on the ground that could harm them.
