“I found a boarding option for my dog Buster through Rover, and as someone with a sensitive goldendoodle who tends to get anxious and stop eating when I’m away, I was pretty nervous about leaving him. After reading John and Zena’s reviews and doing a meet-and-greet, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. They took excellent care of Buster, sending regular photos and videos that really put my mind at ease. It was clear they were attentive to his needs and kept me updated on how he was adjusting. He got along great with their dogs and family, and by the end of his stay, it genuinely seemed like he had made new friends, he even went back to say goodbye before we left. Highly recommend John and Zena for anyone looking for trustworthy, attentive, and responsible pet care.”

“Eric and his family were amazing! They took care of my 10 year old Brin. I was a little worried about my dog being around new friends but they insured me that she did fine. Thank you so much! Would recommend!”

“Morgan did an awesome job taking care of our puppies! Kept me updated daily on how things were going and sent pictures. Most definitely will use her again and refer her to any friends in search of a sitter. Thank you Morgan!”

“Marcia was very accommodating when we asked to extend our dog’s stay. We could tell our dog was well cared for and enjoyed her time with Marcia and her family. Recommend booking with her!”

“Great areas for the dogs! Went above and beyond with the care and comfort of my guys! I have some wild dogs and they had a great time! Not having to worry about them while we are out of town is great!”

“Lauren had great communication before and during. Thankful she was able to accommodate our last minute request. Highly recommend lauren. Thank you again and have a blessed holiday.”

“Christianna was willing to keep our black lab Tazz over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were pleased that Christianna helped us out at the last minute and was flexible about the drop off and pick-up of our pet. The backyard is very large and has a 6' high wooden fence. Tazz seemed happy in all the photos shared over the seven day period. She was happy and healthy when we returned to pick her up. We have discovered that dropping Tazz off in Elizabeth City as we head north to Washington DC adds only 15 minutes one way to the drive. I would definitely leave Tazz with Christianna again.”

“So happy with our experience with Ricardo! He treated our lab just like family, and by the photos I could tell just how much Bailey was enjoying himself at the farm! He got ample play and love time. Ricardo was great about keeping us up to date on how Bailey was doing every day! We were very busy day of and chose to have pick up and drop off which was also very easy! Overall, I highly recommend Ricardo and will use him any other time Bailey needs to be boarded!”

“Maria and Matthew were amazing! They sent us updates and photos throughout the day and took our girl on a walk every day. They took care of her during Christmas and made sure she had a special treat that day. :) we will absolutely be reaching out again when needed.”

“We received several photos and messages and they were able to accommodate an additional day when our flight was delayed. We appreciate the care Aria received. Hope they are available for our next trip in September.”

“5 stars is not enough. I’d like to give Christina 10 stars. I felt comfortable from the 1st moment we met. My Theo has never been anywhere without his family. Theo did Amazing. Theo was a rescue dog and he wasn’t treated well by his original family. He usually never leaves my side in new places. When we went to Christina’s he was Happy and walked away from me to explore. Which was a 1st for him. Theo loves children and Christina has sweet little ones. I got pictures through out the day and updates. More than I ever expected. Super Happy!!!”
“We dropped off our dog, Alfie, on our way to the outerbanks as our Airbnb didn’t allow dogs and we are so glad we booked with Kristin. Alfie had so much fun playing at their home and Kristin made sure to keep us updated with photos throughout the entire trip.”

“Wonderful! Mango was very well taken care of, I felt very comfortable having her stay with Shannon. As happy as mango was to see me when I picked her up she was so sad to leave all her new friends ! Will absolutely rebook and do recommend her as a sitter.”

“She was so great with my little boy. I just knew as sweet as my baby was, she would have to end the stay early. But she was so kind and patient with him. She sent pictures and videos of him and what he was up to. He was able to have the same one on one time with her like he would work my regular schedule. He had a ball. If she allows him back, I will definitely book with her again.”

“We have loved taking our dog to Leslie. Every time we pull up our dog gets super excited and it’s obvious that she enjoys being there. Leslie’s house has become her home away from home. I’m grateful we have found a trustworthy sitter who takes amazing care of our dog and loves her like her own. She keeps us updated, has great communication, and is willing to do whatever is needed for your dog. I definitely recommend her!”
