“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

“Oh my gosh being new to the area - I was so nervous about finding someone to trust with my fur babies who are seniors with different medicines and Trey was amazing. He diligently took care of all their needs, played with them, sent photos and videos , asked all the right questions...we are so thrilled to have him!!!”

“Ladonna was AMAZING! WOW, our pup Sasha loved her. Ladonna sent pics while we were away on our trip that really made us feel so happy. The house was so clean upon our return! Thank you LaDonna!”

“Miss Caroline was so very sweet to my girls, they were so happy to have her here with them. I was very comfortable trusting Caroline with my girls and to stay in my home. She is so very respectful and sweet! I can’t recommend her enough. I will be using her in the future for sure. Thank you for being such a sweet young woman and loving my girls 💕”

“This was the second time we hired Ben to watch our pups. Once again, we were very pleased with how our pups were cared for. Ben was communicative while we were away, and our home was clean and tidy when we returned.”

“Becca was great! Our dogs were well cared for, and she was very respectful of our home and wishes. Our home was spotless when we returned! Walter is a quirky Boston and Paisley is a "mouthy" dachshund - Becca gave them time to warm up to her and things couldn't have gone smoother. This was our first time leaving them with an in-home dog sitter. I was apprehensive about it, but Becca was great to give updates and ask any questions about their care. I have already booked her for August - you should too!”

“Laura was great with our animals. We have 2 dogs and a cat. Old and young-big and little, Laura took care of them all and sent lots of pictures and videos each day. Laura also took care of our house while we were gone. When we came home the house was clean and neat. The bed had been stripped and the sheets washed. Thanks again Laura for allowing us to have a carefree trip.”

“Megan was wonderful. Such a blessing to have someone so sweet to take care of your fur baby. Megan sent pictures through out the day of our pup. It was so nice to see him happy. Would recommend her to anyone. Definitely going to use her again.”

About: Hi there! I am unfortunately unable to accept new canine clients at this time. Due to my full time job, I simply don’t have the time that your fur babies deserve. If you are a reoccurring client or have booked with me in the past, I will accept requests if I am available. Thank y’all for everything! I have been caring for animals ever since I was about 10 years old. Whether that was fostering a litter of puppies with my family or pet sitting for the neighbor, I wanted to constantly be caring for animals. At 14, I got my first job at a veterinary clinic as a kennel technician; by 16 I was a vet tech assistant and at 17 I was promoted to vet tech. I’m currently in school for my associates degree in veterinary technology with hopes to put that education towards a veterinary medical technician license. All of this to say, I am extremely qualified and happy to care of your fur baby while you’re away! However, my availability is limited due to my full time job and school. I’m currently working at an emergency veterinary hospital in 4 days a week, typically 10-12 hour shifts. I can’t always guarantee being available for a booking and I apologize for that but there are so many other amazing sitters on Rover who I know are just as qualified! I look forward to seeing your fluffy cuties :) I am currently attending college as well as working 40 hours a week. My work schedule keeps me pretty busy but in my free time I love pet sitting. The days I work change every week so my availability will probably vary. Unfortunately I can’t offer pet boarding at my house. I have 6 dogs and one of them is a rescue that is very aggressive towards strangers (humans, dogs, cats, etc.)

“Carolyn is a rock star. From our meet and greet we knew found a gem. She helped us out in a last minute situation as well. She kept us in the loop with regular updates and adorable pics and videos. We felt totally at ease knowing our pet was in great hands, allowing us to fully enjoy our trip. We will definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her to everyone.”

“Saundra was great and was always updating me. I have a shelter dog and sometimes it takes time for her to warm up to new people. Saundra continued to care for her despite not receiving a great welcome at first :) but my dog finally warmed up to her after a day. I am thankful!”

About: I have always had a special love for animals! I grew up on a farm and was constantly surrounded by dogs and cats, loving every moment of it! I am currently in between employment, so my schedule is extremely flexible to fit the needs of caring for your pets to ensure you have peace of mind while away. A detailed explanation of your pets needs that is easy to follow, will help me care for your pets like they are my own and meet their needs as if you never left.

About: I bring over a decade of experience caring for pets, fueled by a lifelong love for animals and professional expertise as a wildlife biologist. Growing up with animals, I developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention and care. One of my proudest accomplishments is training my husky puppy—a breed known for its independence—to be off-leash, a process that required patience, consistency, and a strong bond of trust. I’ve also worked extensively with other dogs on leash training, obedience, and building confidence, always tailoring my approach to suit each dog’s unique personality. In addition, I’ve cared for a dog with epilepsy for four years, which involved administering daily medication and providing specialized care to ensure their comfort and well-being. As a field biologist, I’ve even taken animals into the field, ensuring they were safe, comfortable, and happy in new and dynamic environments. These experiences have taught me to anticipate and meet animals’ needs while providing attentive, loving care. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or maintaining specific training and care routines, I’m dedicated to making every pet feel secure and loved. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to provide reliable, compassionate care while you’re away! I’m currently working during the week so am only available for weekend house-sitting stays. If you need a weekend away though, I’m your gal! Whether it’s taking them on enriching walks, stopping by for check-ins, or providing some much-needed companionship while you’re away, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, cared for, and loved in your absence. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. My services are designed to meet your pet's needs in the place they feel most at ease: their own home or familiar surroundings during a walk. When visiting your home, I ensure your pet feels secure and loved by sticking to their established routines, whether that’s meal times, playtime, or a favorite walking route. I also take the time to build trust, so your pet feels relaxed and happy in my care. For walks, I tailor the experience to your pet’s energy level and personality, providing plenty of exercise, stimulation, and, of course, affection. My goal is to make every visit or outing stress-free and enjoyable for your pet, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

“Tony was great with my 3 large dogs. Came over the night before to meet them and go over my care instructions for them. He sent me pictures and updates throughout his stay at the house. My dogs seemed to love him. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!”

“Vivian was amazing with our two doggos. She even sent us a pic mid week to let us know how they were doing. Would highly recommend and we will book her the next time we have an extended trip planned.”

About: Experienced vet assistant and kennel technician with a strong background in both dog and cat care. I've volunteered at animal shelters and lived in a multi-pet home, providing daily care, enrichment, and love to animals of all breeds and temperaments. I work from home and can provide near-constant care and attention for your pets. They’ll never be left alone for more than an hour or two, ensuring a safe, supervised, and comforting environment at all times. Your pets will enjoy a loving, comfortable home with plenty of freedom to relax—including cozy spots on the furniture. They’ll have safe playtime in my fully fenced yard, where they can explore and burn off energy. At night, they’ll sleep peacefully in their crate, but don’t worry—I provide plenty of fun and enrichment during the day to make sure they’re happily tuckered out and ready for a restful sleep. Every pet gets personal attention and care tailored to their needs, so they feel right at home.

About: I’ve loved all animals, though especially dogs, since I can remember. I have years of experience in doggy day cares, boarding kennels, and working as an in home dog sitter and dog walker for individuals and families. I have two dogs myself, Eddie and Kimber, and they’re my favorite people. I’m a student at Lee University and enjoy dog sitting for my professors, but want to expand my services! Don’t hesitate to reach out for dog sitting, cat sitting, and dog walking needs! I’m always willing to go the extra mile (especially if your pup will walk it with me!) I’m currently a student at Lee University so I will need to work around my classes, but my schedule is light and quite flexible. I am very available for stopping in to check on your pets, as well as get them out for some movement. My weekends are quite free for services as well, especially overnight. I care for your pets and home as if they were my own. My goal is to make your pets remain as comfortable and well taken care of as possible. I will follow your instructions to a T, ensuring your maximum comfort when your pets and home are in my care.
