About: Animals choose me. I've fostered fur babies from the local Dallas shelter as well as raised 2 babies from 3 to 9 months of age (recently placed in a new home). I provide the attention and love that I would want for my own family. I'm a Healthcare professional with a predictable schedule. About: My family always had a family pet. So from the age of 12, I began to help feed, walk & bathing them. Now I have two of my own fur babies, the oldest since 2017 & the baby since 2023! I currently am full-time in nursing school and looking for weekend gigs. I am available on weekends anytime for walks and drop-in’s on your fur babies! After moving away from the farm life I still always had animals in my home, from dogs and cats to fish, Guinea pigs, snakes, a mini horse . I worked at petsmart as a dog groomer when I was younger also. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve dog sat many friends dogs and I have reliable references. I currently work from home and I am a student so I spend my days at home. My family usually don’t travel a lot so we are usually available most weekdays and weekends. I care for other people’s pets, how I care for my own. With lots of love and lots of care. I’m a dog mom so I know the sense of worry that comes from leaving my fur baby in someone else’s care. I have tons of “activities” I do to help distract the dogs and keep their minds busy and not focused on the fact their owners are not there. I’ve learned that every pup is different some don’t eat, some get really high anxiety and some get depressed especially in new environments away from home. I do take my daughter to school 5 minuets from the house in the mornings and pick her up at 5. I do have the dining room blocked off, they will spend most their time in there especially at night depending on how many I have boarding, I do separate small dogs from the bigger. The small dogs will stay in the back of the house with me and my shih szu cat and husband, we will let them outside through the garage door into the backyard so no incidents can occur with the bigger dogs. ( the sliding glass door that goes outside is in the dining area ) Where the dining room is fenced off . I do have a live feed camera you can access of the indoor area we keep the pups and outside so you can check in whenever you want to see what your fur baby is up to. In our old house we had a shaded area assembled with lots of toys and balls and puppy pool and splash pad to keep everyone cool and enjoying our outside time. We often had trouble getting the dogs to come back inside 😅 we will sort of the same during the summer months!

About: I love all kinds of dogs and their playfull nature!I normally walk for 30 minutes or more on a regular so if your dog needs a nice walk in definitely built for it! I have access to someone that has experience dog grooming so if your dog needs a good wash I can provide that as well. I'm pretty open to request so if you need something all you have to do is ask and we can work something out. If your dog likes attention I have kids that love dogs that will help wear out any high energy dogs and I don't mind going to some open fields and having the open run around till their hearts content. I consider the needs of the pet I am caring for and will also administer oral medication when requested. I know the Heimlich maneuver for dogs in case of choking and locate the nearest emergency animal hospital before each visit. I love playing with and cuddling almost all dogs, but I also will take them for walks, feed them, give them their oral medication, bathe them, and do overnight sitting as well. This job is my first priority because I work from home. When pet sitting, the only thing I leave the house for is church, groceries, or a meal with company and that would be for no longer than 1-2 hours at a time. I think being outside and getting some natural vitamin D from the sun and fresh air while exercising is just as important for humans as it is for dogs, so I LOVE to play with them outside if they are able. If they can only go for a slow, short stroll that is great as well! I think maintaining routine is also very important for pets so when they are fed and exercised is important for me to keep up.
