“Traci was wonderful! Kept me updated while I was on vacation. I am very happy with her time spent with my kitty Kenzie❤️. It was great to not worry that my Kenz would not be alone the entire time. I definitely will want to have Traci taking care of my Kenz for future trips.”

“Gabriela did a fantastic job with our senior cat while we were away. Our cat is very sensitive and we were worried about leaving him but returned home to find him well cared for and very content. Gabriela kept us feeling at ease with daily updates and was easy to communicate with from the start. We had an excellent experience with Gabriela and absolutely recommend her!”

“Mark did a remarkable job...so remarkable that I think KodaBear misses him! He sent pictures or videos with every visit and gave him all his medications with ease. I will, without question, be asking him to take care of KodaBear again in the future. Thank you, Mark!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for nine years, ever since my brother adopted his dog and he hired me to dog sit. Since then, I have watched many dogs for family and friends and strangers alike! I have watched from min pins to German Shepherds since I started with Rover in 2021. My husband and I currently work remotely which allows a lot of breaks, which will enable us to take care of pets during the day! We are flexible, and am willing to take on last minute engagements. We currently own a home with a huge backyard which allows for lots of play! We have good space inside as well for play and snuggles. We always make sure that the doggos have the exercise they need, whether that be a walk or running in the yard if available. When I dog sit at the dog’s home, I visit 2-3 times a day, taking walks and staying several hours if the home has WiFi where I can work during the day. I usually tidy up and grab mail or other household tasks when I dog sit as well!

“Travis was great! Our cats were well taken care of in the comfort of their own home while we were away. Though one of our cats is shy and didn’t come out when he was here, the other one loved the daily playtime, and we loved the daily check-ins, reports and pictures. Thank you Travis!”

“Friendly, reliable and trustworthy...Allissa was a wonderful pet sitter and put our minds at ease that our cat, Victor, was checked on while we were away for 10 days...would definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I have had pets of all sorts my whole life and can't imagine life without them! Time with pets is well spent! I was a dog groomer for over 10 years and loved spiffing up the pups! I have patience and a good understanding of personalities, behaviors, and temperaments. I recently lost both of my beloved companions and would love to be able to help you with your pet care needs. I am very flexible with my schedule so most anytime works for me:) I am not working at the moment and recently lost both of my sweet dogs and both of my wonderful cats. I am an Occupational Therapist/Health Coach and may work in the area again in the future, but for the time being I would love to give some dogs my extra love and attention. I'm very flexible with my schedule so most any time works for me. I will take your pups for walks and give them some good play time. I have about 2 1/2 acres that is not fenced, but dogs would never be unattended. I would walk them on a leash and if they are well behaved can have a little freedom in the back yard to play ball/frisbee etc. Dogs will have freedom to walk around if my home when I am there, but I also have a large kennel I can use for bedtime or for their comfort if they prefer that.

“Would highly recommend Carissa. Very sweet and great with our dogs. Our dogs have never been left with anyone besides family. She stayed in contact with me the entire time we were gone. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing our dogs were in caring hands.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and abilities through volunteering and pet sitting. While I’ve only formally trained my own dogs, I’ve gained plenty of real-world knowledge by working with everything from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a gentler touch. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making pets feel loved, safe, and happy while their humans are away. Whether it's a long walk, some playtime, or just quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs—because every animal deserves to feel at home, even when they’re not! I work full time but fully remote from my home office so I am available for morning, lunch, or after work walks or feeds when you are rushing to get to work or travel. I typically do not care for pets in my own home as my dog is picky about which dogs are around and I don't want to put anyone at risk. I am happy to come to you!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for as long as I can remember. My mom currently has six dogs so to say our house was a quiet one would be a major understatement. I absolutely love fur animals and would honestly love to have my own; however my boyfriend and I travel a lot and know it wouldn’t be fair. I definitely have the most experience with dogs but can watch other pets as well. I love running and going for walks and just being outside. I really like bringing dogs running with me because they keep me company. I can’t wait to meet your little fur baby! I work full time but I work remote. So I can easily come over and take your dog for walks during the day or at night. I can also easily watch them overnight. I do travel a lot so sometimes weekends are hard but I plan out my schedule months in advance so I’ll likely know right away if I’m busy or not. My boyfriend also works every third weekend so I’m generally home then and would love to have your pet as my companion. In my home i do not allow the dogs on the couch, unfortunately. Otherwise, I’d say everything else is fine. I take them out for walks (usually a mile or two) twice a day and a run/walk during lunch. I love helping them get exercise! As far as discipline goes, it really depends on what the owner recommends as it is not my animal so I would never overstep anything.

About: As a dedicated pet sitter, I provide loving and reliable care for your furry friends while you're away. Whether it's walking, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I ensure that your pets feel safe, happy, and well-loved in your absence. With a passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being, you can trust that your pets are in good hands. Let me take the stress out of your time away, so you can enjoy your trip knowing your pets are cared for! I am home from college for the summer and I have lots of availability and want to do something that I am passionate about . My dogs are very protective and don't get along with other animals so I am unable to take pets to my home to dog sit.

We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for animals to explore. Our neighborhood is full of friendly dogs out for walks. We have a spacious downstairs. We are a homeschool family and are often home during the day to snuggle and care for you sweet fur babe(s). Jon also works from home twice a week! We have a fenced in yard which is a huge plus for the dogs that visit. We can let them out easily for bathroom breaks and provide them plenty of exercise. My kids love to throw the ball for dogs that like to play fetch. We also have a great neighborhood for dog walking.

Early mornings to approximately 9pm Monday - Friday. Weekends may be available as well! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets! Amy B.
“Hello! Amy is one of the most genuine, caring and loving people you'll ever meet. As is evidenced in her own pets, the care and compassion she gives is above and beyond. Amy would treat any animal with the same care she gives to her own pets, and that comes from the kind of person she is. Devotion to the well-being of any pet can be expected as you only have to meet her and be around her for a short period of time. She'll be wonderful at whatever she does! Aaron”

Julie & Jon K.
“Julie and her family are beyond words! They are the most caring and loving family that I have been blessed to be able to meet. I would trust any of my most prized possessions in their care(from kids to animals). Julie herself is very knowledgeable about animals and has a natural instinct caring for them. Not only is she amazing but she has the most loving children who adore all animals and are very gentle with them. Julie cares for the animals as if they were her own. I highly recommend Julie for watching your furry family members! The only thing to maybe worry about is that they won't want to come back home :)”

Katia M.
“Katia may be new to Rover but I can assure that she's not new to pet sitting! She's my 18 year old next door neighbor, and she's been watching my dogs and cats for YEARS. One of my dogs, Abby, is now 9 years old, but when she was younger, she was a handful. She's a border collie/springer spaniel mix with tons of energy but Katia can handle her with a breeze. Abby can be dog-reactive but Katia can handle this as well. Katia is extremely reliable, dependent, and loves all animals as if they were her own. She'll spend oodles of time with your pets showering them with love. If you want your dog(s) to go for a walk, Katia can handle all three of my dogs at once so I'm confident that she can handle your dogs. If your pets need medication, she knows how to administer them. She's extremely bright and detailed that way. She'll also text pictures and updates so you know that everything is going smoothly at home. Needless to say, I highly recommend Katia M. to watch your dogs and/or cats!”

Dominique N.
“Dominique is great with animals. I personally had some circumstances come up where she and her family took in my dog for awhile, and they walked her all the time and trained her without me even asking to put in this extra time with her. My dog was so well behaved after staying with them and not to mention did not pull on the leash anymore. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and gave me advice about her before I got her as a puppy all the way through me taking her back. Dominique is the best dog owner I know personally and loves them unconditionally”

Kirsten F.
“Kirsten is kind, compassionate and experienced in animal care. Your fur babies are in excellent care and she goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and you are too!”
