About: I am excited to meet your babies! Although I'm new to the Gloucester area, I have been taking care of pets my entire life. I'm currently a Stay At Home Mom to 2 kids and 2 pups; formerly a Shift Supervisor at a Doggy Daycare in Erie, CO and former Veterinarian's Assistant. Bonus if your pet is okay around kids- I will be far more flexible to work with your schedule, and they will get EXTRA attention at no additional cost 😉 I am K-9 CPR certified. About: I have taken care of my family members. dog when I was 19 years old. I have also taken good care of both of my cats when i was 9 years old and help the mother of the kittens through her pregnancy at age 9 years old. About: Hi! We’re Colorado and Utah natives who ended up in Charleston, SC, for PA school before my husband’s job in orthopedics brought us to Virginia. We’ve fallen in love with this area and with raising our daughter here! Our 11-year-old beagle, Julia, is the heart of our family. She was our first baby, and I remember someone once telling me that when you have a child, you won’t love your dog as much anymore. I couldn’t disagree more! Julia is everything to us, and our daughter calls her “sister.” ❤️ I grew up with a dog who was my whole world, and I come from a family of dog lovers (my mom has THREE beagles!). When Julia was a puppy, we used Rover in Utah to meet other dogs and take them hiking with us. We’ve always loved having dogs in our lives, and we’re excited to welcome some new furry friends into our home here! You’ll often find us walking or scootering around CW with Julia, and if you hear a beagle chasing squirrels, there’s a good chance it’s us! We also have a fenced yard for sniffing, exploring, and I also work from home, so I’m around most of the day to keep your pup company and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles! We do require a meet-and-greet before booking to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. We’ve had a bad pet-care experience ourselves, and it really crushed us. It made us realize how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your fur baby. We want you to feel good about where your dog is staying and know they’re being treated like one of our own. Julia has Cushing’s disease and takes medication every night, so we understand the importance of keeping up with routines and giving medications as directed. My husband is a physician assistant, and we’re comfortable administering routine medications, too. Most of all, we want your pup to feel at home here, whether that means playing in the yard, going for walks, or curling up for some snuggles. We’re happy to send photos and updates while you’re away because we know how nice it is to see your dog happy and settled. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐶

A big concern when you utilize a Dog sitter is the safety of your pet and so at our house, we do have rules that we follow routines that we make with each individual Dog and we focus on trying to keep those routines to make sure that every dog is safe and taken care of. For senior dogs we can also offer accommodations for their physical disabilities as well as offering separate spaces where they can rest on their own without interacting with other dogs. If you have a puppy or a dog that has been difficult to train, I can also offer some basic training skills that I’ll use with my dogs to make sure that everybody stays safe and is comfortable during their visit whether I’m visiting your home or you’re having your dog visit my home.

About: I am a dog lover who has a mini Bernedoodle. I have had senior dogs and dogs with extensive medical needs. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. My husband and I both work from home full time. We have a great back yard for your pet to run around in with our sweet boy Winston.
