“Here’s a short, positive review you can use: We booked one night of boarding with audrianna while we explored pinnacles national park where she lives near by and had a great experience with her. Our olive was well cared for, and we received updates that gave us peace of mind. Everything went smoothly, and we’d definitely recommend!”

“Becky was great!! She was willing to meet beforehand so my dog could get familiar with her. My apprehensive pup was comfortable around her during her weekend stay. Also, Becky checked in with me throughout the weekend and sent me cute pictures of my pup! I’m glad I found a sitter in the area that’s good with my dog”

“Marium was an amazing dog sitter for my dog Bruno! She did a great job walking him and made sure he was well taken care of the entire time. She was also very quick at responding to messages, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciated that she sent lots of pictures and updates so I could see how Bruno was doing. It was clear she cared about him and made sure he was comfortable and happy. I would definitely recommend Marium to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Nicole and her family are incredible. They took the best care of our pup. We felt very comfortable being states away and knew that he was so loved. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you!”

“Once again my puppy had a wonderful stay. He has never stayed away from home for the night. He appears to have had a great time and was well taken care of. Thank you again for taking such good care of my little guy!”

“Maria and Gregory were amazing! They took great care of our Labradoodle Daisy over a long weekend and treated her like Family. Maria and Greg provided updates every day to keep us up to date, and Daisy really seemed to like them evident by her good mood when we picked her up. Thank you Maria and Gregory!”

“Robin is amazing!! She took such great care of my senior dog. She went above and beyond to make sure she was eating well and to make sure she got her meds. I was never worried for a second about our dog. I would use Robin over and over again to watch our dog!”

“Bruno had a great time with Velsia. She is awesome in so many ways. The updates/pics/videos were very appreciated for it gave us piece of mind that Bruno was in good hands. Definitely will use her services again and we already recommended her to our friends. I’m sure Bruno is looking forward to go stay with Velsia again.”

“Julie was an amazing host for Ollie! She took great care of him for three nights and sent daily updates with wonderful pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. It was clear he was having a great time, especially with her dog, Chase, and another furry friend. Ollie loves socializing, so this was the perfect stay for him! He came home happy, tail wagging, and excited but clearly well cared for. I truly appreciate the love and attention she gave him. Highly recommend Julie for anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“If you have a small friendly dog or dogs, book with Mike as soon as possible. He and his wife are simply the most kind and good people. My mom super appreciated them taking care of her two elder rescue dogs who have a lot of fear of people, loud noises, being alone. Our pups got a lot of walking and even ate at Mike's house, which they usually don't do in a new place. Highly recommend them if you want to know your furry fam is safe and happy while youre away.”

“Janessa was amazing with my little fur son! I have never left him alone for more than 4 hours at home let alone with someone I just met for a few night stay! 😣 BUT, Janessa and Nalla were so attentive to my boy and his needy mom (me😬). I got multiple updates, pictures, videos, FaceTimes, as well as me constantly checking in. She even got him to go from sitting at the door waiting for us to come back, to listening to commands for a treat❤️ She took him out for multiple walks and even got him to eat after the first day of not eating! I had a meat and greet with Janessa, Nalla, max and myself and I’m so glad I did. When I dropped off Max for his actual stay, he was a bit more ok and curious of the space. Nalla is so sweet and just wanted to play. Such a sweetheart! Thank you so much Janessa for putting this over protective mom at ease even if max wasn’t sure at first. I will definitely rebook for overnights and possibly days to help max be more comfortable and able to play with Nalla❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Delia & Gabriel were great. Short notice for an overnight boarding. Greatly appreciate their flexibility with my pick up time. They have awesome dogs that welcome mine. Thanks for the great care of Houdini!”

“This was the second time my puppy Bruno stayed with Grace and Claudio! They were awesome sitters over the weekend. Plenty of updates and they stick to what Bruno likes- playing fetch and running around! I love that they give feedback about how Bruno behaves as it gives me the sense of security that he is being well watched/ taken care of.”

“We had a wonderful experience. It was our first time leaving our puppy and she made me feel at ease with leaving him. She sent updates, photos, and videos throughout the stay. Duke threw up and shr let me know and even washed his bedding for us. We will definately bring Duke back.”

About: Starting June 19th, 2026, I will be able to provide full time pet care if that is needed for more anxious pets! ———— I have extensive knowledge of exotic animals too! A bit about me: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant at a local vet hospital. After working in the field for about 5 years, I wanted to try something else and transitioned to pet sitting. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them. Starting June 19th, 2026 I will be doing dog walking and pet sitting full time. Therefore, I will be able to accommodate most schedules, even for the more anxious and clingy pets out there. If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4-5 hours, an additional fee will be added to the booking. You can rest easy knowing you pet will be treated like family in the comfort of their own home. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. Boarding clients can expect a tidy house and side yard potty access. 20-30 minute walk included per day. I can provide puzzle toys and frozen kongs on hot days with owner permission. Boarding requests are taken on a case by case basis, as I have two dogs of my own. They get along well with other dogs, but I would like to see how everyone interacts with each other before agreeing to anything. Boarded pets will also need proof of vaccination. As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard entrusting your pet, as well as your home, to someone unfamiliar. My goal is to always keep your place looking as untouched as possible, if not better than how you left it. I have pet caregiver insurance as well, for additional piece of mind. Both your home and pets are covered.
“Can’t express enough how WONDERFUL our experience was with Karina! She went above and beyond for our little 12 week old golden retriever. Sent us updates and pictures. Bathed her! Spoiled her with a lot of play time and her personal favorite, car rides!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
