About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I currently work from home so I am always available to love your pet and take care of their needs! I love taking care of dogs! Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.

About: Hey there! I'm Ashley, and welcome to my furry world! Starting out with cats and dogs, I also took interest in many exotic animals, aquatic life, and farm animals. Caring for animals has been my lifelong hobby and love. I previously was a private dog trainer, and in addition to caring for my personal pets, I volunteer at various places with my certified therapy dog. Though currently a healthcare professional, I am also a ranger with the WI DNR. If you're looking for a casual buddy or a longtime friend for your furry (or hairless) one, I'm always here. Have a "special" friend? Temperament issues? Medical needs? Need me to sing the song of their people to get them to eat? No problem. Pets rule their kingdom as they see fit (or at least mine do) and I'd like to make their time away from you just as comfortable. I make sure to structure my day around providing the best care for the pets I look after. I try to be as flexible as possible with my free time, and can often accept last minute requests. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort and safety while maintaining their usual routine. For dog walks, I ensure they get plenty of exercise while sticking to their preferred route or pace. For overnight stays or house sitting, I provide companionship, keep them fed, give medications if needed, and stick to their daily schedule; whether it’s playtime, walks, or rest. I also make sure to keep the house tidy and secure. Communication is key, so I’ll send updates and pictures to keep you informed about your pet’s wellbeing.

About: I have volunteered at the Humane Society as a dog walker for 6+ months and now I currently volunteer providing vet services, worked at The Animal House as a kennel assistant, and working on a dairy farm while at college. My work experience has taught me how to medicate, walk, feed, and groom all breeds of dogs and cats! I am currently a student at UW-Platteville for pre-veterinarian/animal science and working at the campus dairy farm. I love spending my time every day playing with my own pets, pet sitting for friends on weekends, and of course going to work. At your home, I will treat it just as mine. About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and treat every dog like my own. I have the most experience with hunting breeds and high-energy dogs, but I’ve also cared for small dogs. Since I miss having my own dogs around every day, caring for others’ pets truly fills that void and is something I genuinely love doing. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I have most nights and weekends available. I’m even willing to bring your dog along with me when possible so they have plenty of company and attention. Daytime availability Monday–Friday between 8am–5pm is more limited, but I’m willing to discuss options for check-ins in the Howard/Suamico area. I make sure each pet is well cared for, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while you’re away. Depending on the dog’s needs and your preferences, that can include walks, playtime outside, backyard exercise, or trips to the dog park if allowed. My goal is to keep them active, happy, and on a routine that feels familiar and stress-free.
