Our 5-year old lab, Penny, loves making new friends and will welcome your dog with tail wags and she might just share some treats with them too (if you approve of treats!). Previously our family fostered dogs with Happily Ever After and now want to extend our home to other pups in need of temporary stay while their families are away. We have a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play and we have the ability to let dogs outside every 2-4 hours, if needed. Special diets or medical needs can be accommodated so your dog feels like they are at home. We look forward to caring for your pup! My fiance and/or I have the ability to work at home when needed and also have nanny camera on to ensure our furry family members are taken care of at all times. Our days start around 4AM when we head to the gym and then get ready for work and school. Pets are fed around 6AM and have two breaks outside in the event both of us head into the office that day. If your dog requires a bathroom break during the day or needs someone home with them at all times, we are able to accommodate this. If we are at the office for the day, we arrive home around 5PM where we play outside with our dog, Penny, before she gets her dinner. Walks can also be taken 1-3 times per day. Our dog does not sleep in a crate, but we do have one at the house if your dog does best in a crate at night or while adults are not at home. Our fenced in yard makes play and leisure accessible at all times. All gates to the fence are secure and we have motion lights for night time safety. Our neighbors also have dogs and fenced in yards and we each keep an eye out for one another's pets. Inside, we have dog beds or crate(s) available for your dog. We had 11 days reserved that turned into 12 due to a flight cancellation which Holly was able to accommodate. Once we came home, Max, my pup, went right to bed which means he was one tired pup. I’m sure the 3 dogs Holly has kept him going 24/7. Holly sent daily touch bases with pics throughout our trip which is all we were basically looking for. We hope to start to traveling more and Holly will be first on the Rover list.”
“Jeffrey took wonderful care of our 4 year old boxer Maggie. We got her back happy and relaxed! I loved receiving his daily update about how Maggie was doing while we were away.”
“Our dog, Duncan, was very comfortable and happy to stay with Denise and her family. They did a wonderful job keeping us updated with his stay and how he was doing. It was nice to see the pictures that she shared with us and from those pictures I felt very good about how Duncan was being taken care of. We really appreciated how they treated him as their own. “Absolutely perfect experience. Shelby has a great set up in her home (with a fenced in yard). She knows how to introduce dogs to each other and gives them all the love. We received pictures and updates of our Henry and he came back tired (from playtime) and happy.”
“Nix had a great time at Kerstyn's home. She is a great communicator and updates you frequently. Nix was wore out after 2 days of playing with her 2 pups. They all got along great ! We will use Kerstyn again in the future, Thanks again !”
“I would definitely recommend Todd as a sitter! He took my dog for walks and she enjoyed playing in their fenced yard. My dog had an operation recently and was still on antibiotics every 12 hours. Todd made sure she got her medicine on time and texted me after each dose to let me know she got it. He also sent pictures and kept me updated with how she was settling in. Very happy with her stay with Todd and his family.”
“We loved working with Kimberly. She watched our dog for the first time and suggested a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit with her own dog. We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
