About: Hey there! I'm Ashley, and welcome to my furry world! Starting out with cats and dogs, I also took interest in many exotic animals, aquatic life, and farm animals. Caring for animals has been my lifelong hobby and love. I previously was a private dog trainer, and in addition to caring for my personal pets, I volunteer at various places with my certified therapy dog. Though currently a healthcare professional, I am also a ranger with the WI DNR. If you're looking for a casual buddy or a longtime friend for your furry (or hairless) one, I'm always here. Have a "special" friend? Temperament issues? Medical needs? Need me to sing the song of their people to get them to eat? No problem. Pets rule their kingdom as they see fit (or at least mine do) and I'd like to make their time away from you just as comfortable. I make sure to structure my day around providing the best care for the pets I look after. I try to be as flexible as possible with my free time, and can often accept last minute requests. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort and safety while maintaining their usual routine. For dog walks, I ensure they get plenty of exercise while sticking to their preferred route or pace. For overnight stays or house sitting, I provide companionship, keep them fed, give medications if needed, and stick to their daily schedule; whether it’s playtime, walks, or rest. I also make sure to keep the house tidy and secure. Communication is key, so I’ll send updates and pictures to keep you informed about your pet’s wellbeing.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I currently work from home so I am always available to love your pet and take care of their needs! I love taking care of dogs! Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.

About: I have volunteered at the Humane Society as a dog walker for 6+ months and now I currently volunteer providing vet services, worked at The Animal House as a kennel assistant, and working on a dairy farm while at college. My work experience has taught me how to medicate, walk, feed, and groom all breeds of dogs and cats! I am currently a student at UW-Platteville for pre-veterinarian/animal science and working at the campus dairy farm. I love spending my time every day playing with my own pets, pet sitting for friends on weekends, and of course going to work. At your home, I will treat it just as mine. I understand the level of trust there is to allow someone into your home and I will respect you and your space.

Since I am retired, my schedule is completely dedicated to pet care. About: Since I was born our family has had dogs in our house. I grew up with a Sharpei, a Border Collie-German Shepherd mix, and Pit mix; all rescues from local animal shelters and humane societies. Each of them had completely unique personalities, from being protective, to extremely energetic, and dealing with anxiety, I understand how each dog, and owner, embodies a unique relationship. I have helped dog sit for our neighbors in the past and take have taken dogs out for walks during the day when they have to work long hours. I am open to all breeds, ages, and energy levels. I am a professional hockey player, and just finished my first full pro season, so the summer is considered my off-season. I still have morning commitments to my sport so working with Rover works around my odd work hours and fills in the rest of my day. I am extremely active, and can be the same way with dogs looking to get their exercise in for the day as well. I am available between the early afternoon hours through the evening Mon-Fri, but visits outside of that time frame or on the weekends can be worked out as well ahead of time. My first goal is to make your pet feel safe and comfortable with me to make sure they enjoy the experience of spending some of their day with me. My goal is to have positive experiences for both your dog and myself. I understand some dogs can be nervous or have specific habits, so I will follow any instructions given to me on how to properly care for your dog. Whether that is taking them out to exercise, proper ways to give them food, as well as ways to help them feel more comfortable during my visits. My parents’ dog, Marcel, is a pit-mix rescue who has anxiety and very specific eating habits that we have catered to daily over the past several years, so I understand the uniqueness of each dog and situation.
