“Jenny was absolutely amazing to work with. She provided wonderful care for our senior dog while we were on vacation. She provided lots of updates and photos. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Erin has been super communicative and flexible with our schedule! She always sends the cutest photos of our fur babies during her visits. Would highly recommend her to watch your animals!”

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I currently work from home so I am always available to love your pet and take care of their needs! I love taking care of dogs! Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.
“Teresa was amazing to our elderly dog "Skylar." We were so worried we wouldn't find a good fit as Skylar has problems hearing and other issues that come along with age. Teresa far exceeded our expectations. She treated our dog like her own. She sent updates while we were away. The best part was Teresa took cues from Skylar like moving her bed and turning a light on when things got dark. Hands down we will be reaching out to Teresa again when we have a need. THANK YOU, Teresa!”
About: I have been dog sitting for over 20 years. Love dogs, and helping them have great experiences. I foster dogs, and volunteer at animal care clinics. I have two of my own pups, and a foster dog. I have schedule flexibility to provide care in your home, and there is a possibly of care in my home if all dogs get along. I have a fenced in potty area, and a huge yard. I strongly believe in positive training, positive reinforcement - I’ve taken training classes with my pups and foster pups in positive training methods and use that with all the dogs I engage with.
About: I have volunteered at the Humane Society as a dog walker for 6+ months and now I currently volunteer providing vet services, worked at The Animal House as a kennel assistant, and working on a dairy farm while at college. My work experience has taught me how to medicate, walk, feed, and groom all breeds of dogs and cats! I am currently a student at UW-Platteville for pre-veterinarian/animal science and working at the campus dairy farm. I love spending my time every day playing with my own pets, pet sitting for friends on weekends, and of course going to work. At your home, I will treat it just as mine. I understand the level of trust there is to allow someone into your home and I will respect you and your space.
“Katie did an awesome job with my dog and our 3 month old puppy! She cleaned up after the pup if she had accidents in the house. She was on time every day and took very good care of them! I had my work schedule change a few times, and she was very flexible and accommodating! If I need someone to drop in on them again I will definitely reach out to Katie!”

“I was so anxious leaving my two cats while on a two week trip abroad - I’d never been away from them so far or for so long. It took a couple of days, but then they warmed right up to Jeanne. She had tuned into what they needed and provided consistent care - along with great updates and photos from each visit for me - allowing me to focus on my trip. When I returned, I found two happy, well-adjusted cats waiting for me. It was such a relief to know they were in such good hands with Jeanne!”

About: Hey there! I'm Ashley, and welcome to my furry world! Starting out with cats and dogs, I also took interest in many exotic animals, aquatic life, and farm animals. Caring for animals has been my lifelong hobby and love. I previously was a private dog trainer, and in addition to caring for my personal pets, I volunteer at various places with my certified therapy dog. Though currently a healthcare professional, I am also a ranger with the WI DNR. If you're looking for a casual buddy or a longtime friend for your furry (or hairless) one, I'm always here. Have a "special" friend? Temperament issues? Medical needs? Need me to sing the song of their people to get them to eat? No problem. Pets rule their kingdom as they see fit (or at least mine do) and I'd like to make their time away from you just as comfortable. There really is not much you can ask of me that I haven't already done or wouldn't do for your pet. Shoot me a message :) Pet care is a rewarding part of my daily routine. I make sure to structure my day around providing the best care for the pets I look after. I try to be as flexible as possible with my free time, and can often accept last minute requests. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort and safety while maintaining their usual routine. For dog walks, I ensure they get plenty of exercise while sticking to their preferred route or pace. For overnight stays or house sitting, I provide companionship, keep them fed, give medications if needed, and stick to their daily schedule; whether it’s playtime, walks, or rest. I also make sure to keep the house tidy and secure. Communication is key, so I’ll send updates and pictures to keep you informed about your pet’s wellbeing.

“Meg was awesome! She sent pictures every day, took care of the kitties with care, and had no trouble with our complicated (and spoiled) crew. We will definitely ask for Meg the next time we travel.”

“Mykala checked in our fur child Beau for over a week for us! She sent us several photos everyday and updates on how he was doing! Our cat loved her and I know he was in the best hands! Will definitely book with her again! Thank you so much!”

“Nora is super responsive and respectful. She instantly connected with my dog when they met for the first time. And she is very detailed in her notes. She was even kind enough to bring my garbage bin back in on a particularly windy day.”

“Carly did a great job looking after Murphy. Murphy had orthopedic surgery in February and now possibly another surgery to the other leg. She is on pain medications to keep her pain controlled and calm. Carly was on time twice a day to feed and medicate Murphy for pain and then stayed 30 minutes for ear rubs / reassurance. Carly also notified me that some boards were damaged on my back fence when a storm rolled through. I was able to get someone to quickly repair the fence while I was still out of town. I'm a first time user of Rover and will definitely use it again! Thanks!”

About: I grew up with a golden lab and have been around a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs through out my life. I also grew up with two cats and am the proud parent of both a male and a female cat that I have raised since they were each around three months old. Gus is the first cat I adopted, he just turned three years old and is a little lover boy. He is a very smart cat and knows how to sit, stand, spin, and we are currently perfecting shake. Muffin is my little lady. She is a year old and has the personality of a stereotypical female cat. She doesn’t really like anyone other than me and even then she has to initiate all the affection. She may be a diva in that aspect but is the most playful and energetic cat I have ever owned. I have previous experience with dog sitting. I have worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. Overall, I have not had a bad experience or have been unable to bond with a dog I was watching. I have had to learn how to problem solve in certain situations. For example, one of the senior dogs I used to walk wouldn’t eat unless I physically fed her out of my hand. Due to my schedule, I am not able to own a dog myself so this is a way for me to fill that void! I am a full time college student, but all my classes take place on line. I also work roughly 30 hours a week and take care of my house and cats. I typically work in the afternoon and then all day on the weekends. Therefore, I would be available to check in on your pets in the morning, noon area, and sometime after 8 pm! I am very big on trust and will ensure that your pet and I are a good match before taking them out on a walk or a public area. I can also crate the pet or follow whatever care instructions you may have!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 8 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Little Suamico. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
