About: I grew up around both cats and dogs and have always loved animals. I currently have a one-year-old miniature dachshund and a 10-year-old cat, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and sticking to whatever routine your pet is used to. I’m patient with shy or nervous animals and will make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I am available on weekday evenings (5-9pm)/early mornings (5-6:30 am) and 100% available on weekends. I am open to discussing other options as well! Just reach out :) I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and sticking to the routine they’re used to. I pay attention to things like secure doors, leashes on walks, and making sure pets aren’t getting into anything they shouldn’t. I treat other people’s pets the same way I treat my own and always try to make them feel relaxed while their owners are away. I’m also happy to send updates so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life. I grew up with at least two large dogs at all times, and at points there were four of them in the house along with birds and copious amounts of cats to take care of. I also have experience caring for large animals such as horses and I have eight years of handling them under my belt. Along with all of this, I also have experience in giving both medications and insulin shots to both felines and canines. I am currently working a full-time job at the Lynchburg Humane Society. I have availability in the mornings, middle of the day, and evenings to care for little critters! This would include walking, potty breaks, and caring for them however they need! I currently have two dogs who have a big double fenced in yard to play in, but would only have your furry friends interact with my animals if there were to be an emergency. I would be able to easily crate your pet and do whatever is needed to keep them safe and comfortable!

About: I have cared for my family's pets my entire life. I worked in the pet care dept. at the Lynchburg Humane Society for about a year until it got in the way of school. I have been cat and dog sitting for people around my neighborhood for the past five years or so. My family and I have also been fostering mama dogs with litters of puppies as well as bottle baby puppies and kittens from the Lynchburg Humane Society for the past 4 years I am a senior in college. I am currently taking two online classes so my schedule is very flexible. Next semester I will be taking in person classes so my schedule will be more limited starting Jan. 14, 2027. We have two cats and two dogs at my house that I help take care of. I have experience caring for several of my neighbor's cats and dogs. I am able to adapt my care to the needs of your critters. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
