About: I grew up around both cats and dogs and have always loved animals. I currently have a one-year-old miniature dachshund and a 10-year-old cat, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and sticking to whatever routine your pet is used to. I’m patient with shy or nervous animals and will make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I am available on weekday evenings (5-9pm)/early mornings (5-6:30 am) and 100% available on weekends. I am open to discussing other options as well! Just reach out :) I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and sticking to the routine they’re used to. I pay attention to things like secure doors, leashes on walks, and making sure pets aren’t getting into anything they shouldn’t. I grew up with at least two large dogs at all times, and at points there were four of them in the house along with birds and copious amounts of cats to take care of. I also have experience caring for large animals such as horses and I have eight years of handling them under my belt. About: I have cared for my family's pets my entire life. I worked in the pet care dept. at the Lynchburg Humane Society for about a year until it got in the way of school. I have been cat and dog sitting for people around my neighborhood for the past five years or so. My family and I have also been fostering mama dogs with litters of puppies as well as bottle baby puppies and kittens from the Lynchburg Humane Society for the past 4 years I am a senior in college. I am currently taking two online classes so my schedule is very flexible. Next semester I will be taking in person classes so my schedule will be more limited starting Jan. 14, 2027. We have two cats and two dogs at my house that I help take care of. I have experience caring for several of my neighbor's cats and dogs. I am able to adapt my care to the needs of your critters. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs with medical conditions of varying severity from my time at the Lynchburg Humane Society and fostering.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
