“Juli has been great for our pup! When she took care of him she sent us countless updates and pictures and was very understanding of all of his needs. Albert loves her homemade treats and running around in her backyard. She’s a really great fit for our Albert!”

“Summer is Amazing! She's Awesome! Very careful and professional! She sent me detailed updates and photos of our pup daily. It was such a relief to know that my puppy baby was in good hands. She certainly treated him like a welcome guest and he was no doubt spoiled and cared for very well. My Royal is typically an anxious and cautious little boy, especially around new people and new animals. But he went to Summer's daycare for a few days and came home to me in the evenings happy and healthy. Knowing he was in good hands allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying while he was away from me. That feeling is priceless! Summer is a golden Angel! We can't wait to book a stay with her again!”

“Ashley was very prompt in her responses. I apps her mindfulness of COVID and met me in the yard instead of her home. I loved the pictures of Rosie she sent me; it was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend Ashley for future services.”

“Rachel did a great job keeping my baby. She obviously loves animals and welcomes them into her home. Agador was happy when I picked him up and I think he would have stayed with her and the family lol.”

“Michelle took awesome care of my anxious pup Pippin. Pippin had a great time with her dog, and even got a walk! Will definitely be using Michelle again in the future!”

“Edith was wonderful with my dogs. She gave me updates along with photos of them in her care. I’m glad that I was able to find a new sitter in my area. I would recommend Edith to anyone.”

“Jaicee took great care of Nova and treated her as one of her own! Would definitely use her again and recommend her to others!”

“Seth and Ashley are wonderful! They have been taking care of my puppy (12 weeks old) while I go to work twice a week. They're attentive and patient, help me reinforce my training, and my pup loves getting to hang out with them. Definitely recommend them!”

As long as I get those babies , I don’t care where we are. If you want to bring your fur babies kennel , I have no problem using it. Other than that , I have no problem with animals being on the furniture and such.

About: 🐶 About Me: Hi, I’m Heather—an experienced, nurturing pet professional who has been surrounded by animals since before I could walk. From dogs and cats to birds, bunnies, and even rescued wildlife, I’ve dedicated my life to loving and caring for animals of all kinds. Before relocating to North Carolina, I was a star sitter in Boston, MA, where I built long-term relationships with many repeat clients who entrusted me with their beloved pets time and time again. My background in both teaching and animal care fuels my approach: structured, empathetic, and full of joy! I’ve worked with animals in all life stages, and I’m highly experienced in: • Administering medications (oral, topical, and injectable) • Caring for seniors, puppies, and animals with special needs • Training dogs through behavioral challenges including leash reactivity, food aggression, and fear-based behaviors At home, I share my life with Gherkin, my brilliant 4-year-old Belgian Sheepdog who has completed Basic Obedience, Canine Good Citizen, and two levels of Scent Training, and Gunnar, a sweet Miniature Australian Shepherd who is currently mastering his obedience basics. Whether you need: • Boarding • In-Home Sitting • Drop-In Visits • Dog Walking …your pet will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m incredibly detail-oriented, quick to notice subtle changes in behavior or health, and I always strive to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and comforting as possible. Whether your companion is energetic and playful or shy and needing gentle care, I adjust my approach to meet their needs. I’ve also lived and worked around a wide variety of animals, including: 🐾 Bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs 🕊️ Birds 🐿️ Rehabilitated wildlife 🐕 Dogs with training or behavioral needs You can trust that your pet is in calm, capable, and loving hands with me. 📅 Availability As a Special Education Teacher, my school year has ended and I currently have open availability for pet care bookings. This includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays throughout the summer. My availability may shift slightly as I explore new professional opportunities, but I will always keep my calendar accurate and up to date. I remain committed to making time for both new and returning clients whenever possible. 🏠 How I Care for Pets in My Home and in Yours Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, you can expect attentive, personalized, and respectful care every step of the way. In My Home: I have a cozy home with a large yard—perfect for safe outdoor time and quick potty breaks. It is partially fenced. So, outdoor time will either occur on walks or on longlines. While the yard is large, I know most pets love a change of scenery, so we also enjoy leisurely walks, when appropriate, adventures to local parks H. Boyd isn't far) or dog parks. I always follow the owner’s preferences for activity level, routines, and socialization. Your pet will get plenty of affection, structured care, and attention—just like one of my own. In Your Home: When house sitting, I pride myself on being the most respectful guest you could ask for. I keep things tidy, follow all instructions to the letter, and am so focused on caring for your pet that your home may be cleaner than when you left it. I understand that your pet feels safest in their own space, so I work to maintain a calm, consistent environment while you’re away. Whether it’s watering plants, bringing in the mail, or keeping to a special feeding or medication schedule, I’ve got it covered. To be clear, as a house sitter, I do not stay overnight because I have my own dogs, but I stay as long as needed to ensure your furbabies are cared for (as mine can go for a long time). If you happen to book a house sitting when I don't have any other animals boarding, it is possible for me to stay overnight. I work out all the communication prior to your departure and stay in communication as much or as little as you request while you are away. Ultimately, I take my cues from you and your pet’s needs—always prioritizing comfort, safety, and peace of mind.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. It all started when my mom’s friend couldn’t find the time to make sure her pup was happy. So she relied on me to make sure that her pup was happy. I love animals, I have my own and I make sure they get whatever it is they need even if it’s just cuddles. I am a college student, who is home for the summer and looking to earn some extra money. I currently do not have a job. I treat all pets with genuine love, gratitude, and affection. I will provide a comfortable and safe environment as well as the right amount of exercise.

“I highly recommend Molly. She did an excellent job.”

“Kentrice worked with us on short notice to watch our anxious dog for a long day. She made him feel safe enough to relax and that gave me peace of mind while my partner and I were out of town. She took him on walks and that definitely helped too 😊”

“Angela is a great dog mom herself! She is caring and attentive. She has experience with her own dog as well as other dogs she watches for family and friends. She will love, protect and care of any animal. Even stray cats ☺️”

Heather G.Star Sitter
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding, Compassionate Care for a Quirky Crew Heather is truly a gem of a pet sitter. She cared for my full household of pets — including elder cat Roxy, slightly persnickety cat Phoebe, social butterfly Bai, and gem of a dog Senna — with incredible attention, patience, and heart. Every animal in the home has a very distinct personality and set of needs, and Heather handled them all with grace and ease. Roxy requires a gentle touch and medication, Phoebe has a bit of an attitude (but warms up if you respect her space), Bai loves everyone and wants attention 24/7, and Senna, though sweet, has his own routine and energy to match. Heather not only followed the (somewhat long!) care instructions to the letter, she went above and beyond — even locating oddly placed food and supplies I forgot to set out, and never once missed a dose or detail. Her updates were reassuring and kind, and I genuinely felt at ease knowing they were all in her care. I wouldn’t and haven’t hesitated to book Heather again. She’s not just reliable — she’s intuitive, loving, and a true animal person. The whole crew adored her, and so did I.”

“Heather is great with dogs and pays close attention to each of their personalities. She has a vast knowledge on training and ensuring your dog will always be safe. She teaches the dog and their owner as she states she won’t always be with the dog. With training the owner how to deal with different situations, they will know how to handle their dog. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab “Zoey” and she has helped me over the years with keeping Zoey happy and me! Please contact her for any of your pets needs as you won’t be disappointed. She will treat your dog just like she treats hers as part of her family!”
