About: I know how to adapt to each animal’s unique personality and routine. What sets me apart is the trust I build not only with pets but with their people. I provide daily updates, adorable photos, and peace of mind while you're away. Whether it's administering medication, going for long walks, or simply offering some extra love and belly rubs, I treat every pet like my own. This isn’t just a job, it's a loving passion! Pet care fits into my week really naturally. I'm in school with an easy schedule, so I’ve got the time that makes it easy to fit in morning walks, afternoon visits, or whatever your pet needs. Whether it’s dropping in to feed and play, going for a walk, or just keeping them company, I plan my day around making sure they’re happy and well cared for. Honestly, spending time with animals is the best part of my day—it never feels like a chore!! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at the client’s, I always try to make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible. In my home, I keep things calm, clean, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to play and relax. I stick to their normal routines as much as I can—meals, walks, and bedtime, so it feels familiar to them. When I’m at a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own, making sure their pet gets lots of attention, exercise, and love. I follow any instructions closely and always leave the place just as I found it, if not better!
About: I respect all animals, and have a particular love for cats and kittens. I’ve taken care of puppies, cats, and reptiles for over five years. I can be relied on to look after your pet… feed them, play with them, do a little pet yoga, and keep an eye on them for you. I’ll have plenty of time to be with your pet and give them one on one attention. I work part time and work from home. I have a dedicated space for my pet guests, giving them leisure of my living room area and there is a large gated space in the back of my residence if your pet needs outside time.
“Monica has come now several times to walk our pups. They are so happy to see her for their walks. Monica is very friendly and honest, She treats our pups as if they we hers. It is truly a blessing that we found her.”

About: I have had both cats and dogs almost my entire life and have worked as a Veterinarian Technician in an animal shelter and for a small family owned Vet. I strive to bring my knowledge and love for animals to my community so that pet care can be more affordable for regular people (such as myself). With the knowledge I have gathered from both working in office, having pets, sitting family pets, and my many years of pet grooming I hope to make my home a safe haven for your pet. We can also discuss natural treatments for pets which I've studied for a while now when it comes to specific breeds, mixed breeds, and their genetic ailments. I will soon be making all natural dog & cat treats for pets. I can also train pets through the treat/clicker system which has worked well for all of my pets and a plenty of others. If you would like for me to train them please let me know. Please contact me directly. I currently work from home and have a really flexible schedule. More than likely your pet will stay in the room with me (if they choose as i love cuddles as much as they might). Your pet can also hang out in the living room if they choose. They will go outside as many times as needed through the day until I get off at 5:30pm which then we will go for a walk. I also have a back yard. In which I will allow them to exert any additional energy throughout the day. I care for pets by paying attention to them and understanding the small hints they give indicating what they need at that time. I also create a potty schedule based on the dogs water/food intake to avoid accidents. I have no pets at the time so your pet will have my full attention. If permitted by the owner, I will groom, bathe, and train their pets.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. In my house we had two dogs, a cat, a fish, two birds, and a lizard all at once. i took care of all of them and loved it :) I’m new to the area and have a part time job. i had to leave my dog with my family back home and am really missing that bond, I am very available to pet sit or even just take them on walks. My dog always slept in her crate because it was her safe space. I love to take dogs outside and let them run around and be happy, but i am also comfortable with having them inside and following any rules you may have.

About: My experience into dog care started 9 years ago, and my time working with cats started less than a year later. My experience of both dogs with a hyper or dissociative personality and felines with bad temperament was mostly gained while working at various animal shelters. Some shelter dogs and cats are not temperamental on their own but sometimes will instinctively react to those who are being the aggressors, as is their nature. it's often very similar at dog parks- A Gathering of many unknown dogs, some likely to be reactive to others and always a few having chance of causing a fight. Something I keep in mind for safety every time I have an interaction with a dog I don't know while walking someone else's that I was entrusted the care of, is that other animals I don't know will always be unpredictable. Outside my charity work for shelters, for an even longer amount of time I've taken care of pets of many ages and breeds for family/friends going on 9 years now. I have handled many large breeds; Labradors, Huskies, Great Danes, German Shepards, Mastiffs. I have also worked with various medium and small sized breeds. My total 2 years of experience with puppies was spread out caring for and helping raise pups my sister had gotten. Between raising puppies and trying to work with pets giving me a hard time during the course of my many dog sitting jobs I have seen and learnt countless things about our furry friends! To list a few; common dog and cat habits, nutrition, toxic foods for dogs, signs of aggressive body language in pets, and abnormal behavior alongside possible causes. Any and all pet needs such as sitting, walking, etc. I'm available to do every day of the week, as I have a clear schedule for the time being. When at a client's house, if instructions are not already given to me I will ask the owner's typical routine with their pet and see what they want or need done for their dog or cat. I'd Also ask general house rules like backyard access, and if I could entertain the fuzzy friends with toys for enrichment.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
