Edith was wonderful with my dogs. She gave me updates along with photos of them in her care. I’m glad that I was able to find a new sitter in my area. I would recommend Edith to anyone.

About: With over 30 years of experience in dog ownership and care, I have developed a deep understanding of canine behavior, needs, and well-being. Throughout the years, I've cared for various breeds, each with unique personalities and requirements, which has equipped me with the skills to handle different temperaments and situations. My commitment to providing loving and attentive care ensures that each dog feels safe and valued in my environment. In addition to basic care like feeding, grooming, and exercise, I've also been actively involved in training and socializing dogs, helping them develop good manners and confidence. This hands-on experience has not only enriched my life but has also fostered a genuine passion for helping dogs thrive. I live alone and work from home with my best friend Ollie, a 3 1/2 year old terrier/lab mix. Ollie loves other dogs and is a great companion for any dog that likes to play. chase, and sniff the world! I'm new in the Rover scene, but trust me, your dog will be well cared for and have a wonderful time! I work from home full-time so I am always here. Dogs are allowed to relax wherever they prefer in my home and my goal is for them to be as comfortable in my home, as they are in theirs. I have an enormous fenced in yard great for sniffing, exploring, and zooming! My buddy Ollie will be happy to show you around the yard and chase your pup whenever he or she wants!

Gail and her family were extremely welcoming to our much loved Standard Poodle, a loving, but high energy boy. They were easy to work with, sent us regular updates and pics of our boy and we are so glad we found them on Rover - conveniently located in our neighborhood, he will be returning to them soon.

About: For my husband and me, caring for dogs is a deep-seated passion. Our world revolves around their happiness and well-being. We started this journey because we believe every dog deserves to feel safe, cherished, and right at home, even when their favorite people are away. When your dog stays with us, they become a temporary, but much-loved, member of our family. As a husband-and-wife team, pet care is the heart of our household's daily rhythm. Our days are structured around our furry guests, including morning and evening walks, dedicated playtime, and consistent feeding times. Because we're a team, there is always someone home, ensuring your dog receives constant companionship and attention. Their routine truly guides our day. Our number one priority is creating a safe, secure, and loving environment. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do take them for a walk all the time (always when needed). We treat every dog like a member of our family, with plenty of affection. To build trust, we maintain your dog's specific routine and send you daily photo and video updates, giving you complete peace of mind that they are happy and in responsible hands.

About: I got my first puppy when I was eight years old. I grew up learning how to care for her from my dad. She was protective, loving, and my best friend. After she passed away, I recused a new puppy from my neighbors who were unable to care for him. All on my own I was able to house train him, make him less food aggressive, and even teach him some tricks like high-five and roll over! He is my new best friend and a part of my family. Since I am at school, he is currently back home with my dad. I miss him so much! I would love to get to know some new furry friends and treat them with the love and care family deserves. I am a full time student at UNC but am home for the summer to take care of all your furry friends! Rover is my full time job and I am capable of handling multiple bookings at a time. I am very careful and responsible when it comes to taking care of myself and others. I would stick to a routine and follow any guidelines that were previously set for me. It is always my goal to leave every pet happy and well taken care of in any environment.

I am one of those nervous dog moms. This was my first time using a sitter to care for my dog in their home. Sarah exceeded my expectations and now I use her regularly. She is kind, gentle, and professional. Her devotion to caring for animals is evident within minutes of meeting her. I don't worry when my dog is at Sarah's house. Now for my dog's review lol. She is excited to arrive, and is content (and tired) when I pick her up. There's a huge safe yard for her to play in, two little dogs to play with if she likes, and kids who treat her with respect (she also likes to snuggle with them). When I pick her up, I can be sure that she's been loved on and had fun.

About: I have always had a passion for animals. Friends and family have always gone to me when needing help with a pet whether it be old or new. I myself have always had rescues so I know the difficulties in gaining a rescue dog's trust but at the end of the day we are always best friends. Friends and family have always counted on me to walk or petsit for them. I would love to take care of your pet for you and make both of our days! I always treat pets as if they were my own. The only issue you would have with me is that I wouldn't want to stop visiting my furry new friend. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have a completely open schedule to care for someone's lovely pet. I always have my son with me so I never have to find a sitter for him. My son would be with me when caring for your pet and he would be making a new friend in the process. I have a fenced in yard and 1 very friendly dog that loves other dogs. Maggie is about 5 years old and would love another play mate to run wild with in the yard. I also have a toddler at home that loves playing fetch and chasing the dogs around the yard.

Margarita took great care of Rufus all day while I was at work. He was fed breakfast and let outside several times to poke around in the yard and go potty. Margarita kept a close eye on Rufus as he was in a new environment in her house today. He was loved on and very happy at the end of the day! I highly recommend Margarita and will use her again!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes including my own Great Dane who is 6 years old. We also had a pit mix who passed away last year unexpectedly. I trained both of my dogs myself and I am comfortable around any breed! I have experience giving daily medication as well as walking multiple dogs at a time! I currently work from home so I am home all day and mostly on weekends unless I run an errand or two. We love taking early morning and late evening walks to avoid this summer heat! I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door to provide free access to being indoors or outdoors. I keep large bowls of ice water available at all times. I can also provide a fairly large crate if need be along with food bowls. Your dog must be child friendly or have shown no aggression towards people as I do have a 10 month old who is on the move but always monitored!

About: I’ve had 2 dogs in my lifetime. They were potty trained when they were puppies. One of them was trained to go to the diaper, but then they were both trained to ask to go potty outside by standing by the door and bark. They were spoiled with love, food, and a bunch of fun. If they needed medication, we would administer it to them. When one of my dogs became old and couldn’t jump onto or from the bed, we got him a small stair so he could get onto his favorite spot on the bed. Sometimes he would ask to potty in the middle of the night and I would get up to take him out in the back yard so he could relieve himself. Me and wife currently work full time but different schedules. Your pet would be taken care of in the morning before heading to work and then my wife would take care of your pet during mid-day. Then I could take care of them in the afternoon. We can do boarding all week long. I have a fenced back yard where your pet can run around. There are no plants that are harmful to them. I have two cats that can keep your pet company. I can easily crate your dog if required or requested.
