“Lexi was fantastic! She did exactly what needed to be done , then went above and beyond what I thought would happen, getting my kitties to come out for attention ( they are extremely shy). I would highly recommend Lexi for ANY pet sitting activities you would need her for… she is kind, attentive and dedicated. Definitely hire her!”

“Jayle was absolutely wonderful with our four cats. Each visit was thorough, timely, and full of care — we loved the photo updates and could tell the cats felt comfortable with her right away. Jayla handled their different personalities like a pro and left everything tidy. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind sitter.”

“Emily was AWESOME!!! Would recommend her to EVERYONE! She went above and beyond with my 3 larger dogs! Kept us updated and even cleaned up the mud and dog prints the pups brought in from the rain!!!”

About: I adopted my guy Riddick in 2013. Last Thanksgiving, we said goodbye after a rapid decline of suspected lymphoma of the thymus. He was a good fella who kept me company on hikes in the woods, slept and paced with me during my 36-hour labor, laid and watched his baby human nurse for nights on end, and he aged into an easy going, sneaky snack stealing fella. I miss him, and I know I loved caring for him yet I am not in a position to have my own pet - so I want to keep your beloved family furry friend company when they need it most so they’re the best for you! In my time with Riddick, I’ve dealt with 2-3 hour hikes, short walks, yard clean up, oral medication, topical medication, baths and brushing, prescription diets, and more. He was a solid companion for the dogs I’ve fostered for local rescues, as well. I hope my experience will help guide you to make the best decision for your furry friend and family’s needs. I am not actively working full-time, I have an alternating parenting schedule where I have my daughter full time one week and the next her dad has her. I wake up at 4AM everyday for exercise, breakfast, and coffee. I enjoy filming and editing video footage of action sports in the evenings. I am available during school hours the weeks I have my child, and the other week I am available as early as 6AM until about 2-3PM. I care for them the way you need me to, with respect for their demeanors as well. If there are routines needing implemented, we will work on that, if they’re established I will stick to them.
About: I've had pets most of my life. I've cared for big dogs and little dogs. This includes potty training, walking, baths, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. I've also administered medications in pill, liquid, and shots. I've cared for puppies, middle aged, and seniors and know the unique needs at each life stage. I currently work full time, but my wife does not work, so we have lots of time to care for your pet. I am available almost all weekends. I have a full fenced in yard with a 4 foot chain link fence. The fence has been "small dog" proof to ensure no escapees. We have 10 dogs, but all are super friendly and get along well with others. We also have tons of toys, chew bones, and beds throughout the house.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats every day. I recently raised my own puppy who’s now a happy, well-behaved 1-year-old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy routines, training basics, and high-energy pets. I also have a 5-year-old cat, giving me years of experience with feline behavior, feeding schedules, and creating a calm, safe environment for more independent pets. What sets me apart is my patience, consistency, and genuine love for animals. I understand the different needs of young, active pets as well as more mature ones, and I always treat every animal with the same care and attention I give my own. I work full time throughout the week as a dental hygienist, that makes after work a great time for dog walking! This also means pet sitting is strictly weekends so I can give your pet my full attention ! I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax and feel comfortable. I stick closely to each pet’s routine—feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I keep their space clean, cozy, and stress-free.

About: I have hands on experience caring for animals through my own pets and helping family. I currently help care for two cats, including feeding, cleaning, and making sure they’re comfortable and well looked after. I also regularly help with my grandmother’s German Shepherd, so I’m comfortable around larger dogs and understand the importance of being attentive, patient, and consistent with their care. While I’m newer to pet sitting professionally, I take responsibility seriously and treat every pet like my own. I’m happy to follow specific routines, provide updates, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7am–4pm, which allows me to provide reliable care before and after work hours. I’m available for morning visits before work and evening care on weekdays. Midday visits may be possible during my lunch break if the location is close to my job. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m available all hours and have a very flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. care for pets with the same attention and consistency I give my own cats. I maintain a regular feeding schedule with wet food and clean litter boxes daily to keep things fresh and healthy. In your home, I will follow your instructions closely, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to build trust with each pet and pay attention to their behavior to ensure they feel relaxed, secure, and well cared for.

About: Hi, I’m Debbie! I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly believes dogs are family. ❤️ While I’m new to professional dog walking, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs in a variety of situations. I’ve had dogs for many years, cared for my sister’s dogs, helped with the arrival of multiple litters of puppies, and have experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve also recently fostered dogs and regularly walk dogs at my local animal shelter, where I get to spend time with dogs of different personalities, ages, energy levels, and backgrounds. I especially have a soft spot for rescue dogs and love helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every dog is different. Some pups want an energetic adventure and lots of exploring, while others—including senior dogs—may need a slower pace, extra patience, or a little more TLC. I’m happy to meet your dog where they are and give them the individual attention they need. I genuinely love being outdoors, hiking, walking, and spending time in nature, so getting outside with a dog is something I truly enjoy—not just a job. My goal is for your dog to get exercise, attention, companionship, and plenty of love while you’re away. And I’m a cat lover, too! 🐱 I currently have cats of my own and would be happy to provide cat drop-in visits as well. Whether they need food, fresh water, a clean litter box, playtime, or simply some company and attention, I’m happy to help. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. Their safety, happiness, and comfort will always come first. ❤️🐾 My work schedule changes from week to week, so I don’t have the same days off every week. I keep my Rover calendar updated with my available days and times, so what you see on my calendar reflects my current availability. If you have a specific date in mind that isn’t showing as available, feel free to message me and I’ll see what I can do! 🐶🐱❤️ Trust means everything when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I don’t take that trust lightly. I’ll treat your home with respect and your pets with the same care and attention I would want for my own. Safety always comes first. I’ll follow your instructions, stay attentive to your pets, make sure doors and gates are secure, and be mindful of their individual needs and surroundings. I’ll also keep you updated so you know how your furry family members are doing while you’re away. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping in to care for your cat, my goal is simple: keep them safe, happy, comfortable, and loved—and leave you with peace of mind. 🐶🐱❤️

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
