I have had 7 jack russells over my lifetime, rescues and hospice care. We have a Chihuahua Jack Russell mix who is 1 year old and gets along with everyone. About: I have 2 dogs and a cat and take care and exercise them. I help my mom while she's sick walking and bathing her Pitt with severe separation anxiety. I love animals and have a soft spot for gentle giants. I am a stay at home individual and love to walk during warm days and take dogs to parks and play fetch. My number one priority is the animal's safety, after that it's all about When a pet comes to stay at my home they receive lots of belly scratches, the occasional treat (if you allow), and play time. My number one priority is safety, I have baby gates and unsafe items out of reach. I have two friendly elderly dogs, a cat, and two well behaved children. Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I allocate time each day for feeding, playtime, walks, and grooming to ensure my pet's well-being. In both my home and my clients' homes, I tailor my care to meet the specific needs of each pet. This includes feeding, grooming, exercise, and any necessary medical attention. I also prioritize creating a comfortable and safe environment for them to thrive in.
About: Retired vet. I’ve cared for and been around dogs/cats for as long as I can remember. I also worked at a pet store during my 4 years of high school. I currently work part time Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Sometimes not all three of those days. Work is on Burbank and close to home. We currently have 2 dachshunds, and looking to have a corgi in the near future. We take them out for daily walks, and have an open area with leads.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10, now I’m 24. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have 4 cats and 1 dog. At home before I moved out on my own I took care of our family animals which included pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, lizards , snakes, turtles!! I’ve always been very passionate about animals. About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

“We have been booking with Heather for our 5 animals for years now. Heather and her husband watch our 4 dogs and cat once a year for our vacation. I schedule my vacations around them now because I don’t trust anyone else with my kids. I love that they always send daily updates with pictures and let me know any concerns they have (my one dog is getting old and stiff. Heather’s husband told me that he was bumping into things and might be developing some eyesight issues). They are very attentive. One year my cat and one dog got into a tiff (as they do sometimes) and Heather immediately contacted me and told me about it and told me she separated them to cool down. I have a very nervous rescue that does not like anyone but I get pictures of her laying with Heather and her husband. I have only ever seen this dog hug my husband or I in the 3 years we have had her but she hugs them. This tells me all I need to know since Ivy doesn’t trust anyone. My dogs seem to feel comfortable when I leave them there and not panicked. My cat and older dog take medicine daily and Heather gets my stubborn cat to take her medicine with no problem. Your pets are safe with them.”
