“Robin was amazing taking care of our elderly dog . It was one of the nicest get aways we have had in years knowing she was taking such good care of our boy .. Her communication and daily pictures are great. We will be booking her for each of our future needs. Thank so much for caring for Rocky 🐶🐶”

“Stephanie saved our trip! She jumped in to care for our pets when our sitter had an emergency. She communicated with me so she was caught on the details about our dogs. I could tell by the pics she provided that our dogs received lots of love and attention.”

“Stephanie was an absolute ROCKSTAR! She provided an extremely high level of care to our two cats, who are suspicious of people. By the end, they were cuddling in her lap. The cats were provided with daily clean food, water, litter, treats and play time/snuggles. I’m pretty sure they were more disappointed to see her go vs us be home again. :) Thank you again Stephanie for the daily updates and photo slideshows to brighten our day. You eased my nerves, I had never left on vacation yet with our kitties, and it was the best time for kitties and myself!”

“Heather was wonderful to our kitty while we were on vacation! She sent thoughtful updates with lots of photos daily and took extra care to make our temperamental kitty feel comfortable. We’ll be using her in the future!”

“Thank you Rio for taking care of our dog! :) we know Greta has a unique personality but she became more comfortable with Rio and we love her taking care of her. Definitely we will keep her asking to pet sitter next time we go out”

About: I've worked with dogs and cats of all ages. From a few weeks old until their beautiful golden years. I can give oral medication and am willing to learn to give other types of meds. I can do baths, brushing and nails trims on small and medium dogs. Whether your fur baby is shy or a super cuddle bug, I look forward to meeting them. I am available for long weekends or weeks for pet sitting in your home. I'm also available throughout the week and weekends for drop ins! I am able to easily adapt to your pets schedule in your home. I want to maintain stability while your away to make your furry friends as comfortable as possible. So if they have special requests, let me know so I can keep that going.
About: I’ve been the go to pet sitter for family members and friends. Whether it’s keeping them company for a couple hours to just stopping by to let them out and check their food/water to watching them for multiple days. I work full time and don’t have the ability to work from home. On weekdays after 5pm I’m free to hang out with your pups! During the weekend I have more flexibility to watch or check on your pets. I don’t have any pets and currently live in an apartment complex. There is a lot of open grass space around my apartment complex and is in a good area to walk in. If you prefer your pup be in a crate if I have to leave that will need to be provided, but as long as they are house trained I have no problem with your dog free-roaming my apartment.
About: We have been pet owners all our lives until recently. We have experience looking after dogs and cats. We would love to fill the gap by helping you out with pet sitting needs. Your fur baby will be treated as part of our family! My husband and I work full time, some days from home. My work is just few minutes away so I am able do potty breaks and walk during lunch. Our schedules are flexible and we can adapt to your needs. We currently don't have any pets at the house. Our yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is very dog friendly with a little nature trail for walks.
“Our shy kitties loved their visits from Gaby, she made sure they were well loved, fed and taken care of while we were away, which we are so appreciative of! They were in great hands!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was younger than 10, with experience ranging from playful puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide companionship for their pets. I’m comfortable with multiple breeds, different energy levels, and unique routines. My priority is keeping pets safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. Whether it’s exercise, cuddles, or special care, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Hi, I’m Madeline! 🐾 I’m a stay-at-home mom to my sweet son, who recently started school, and I’m looking forward to filling my extra time with something I truly love: animals! I’ve always had a big heart for furry friends and believe every pet deserves patience, love, attention, and plenty of cuddles. 🐶🐱💕 As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Whether your pup needs a walk, a potty break, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I’m happy to help! My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. 🐾💗
“Riley does a fantastic job with Cooper. He is always excited to see her. Most people Cooper is stand offish with but instantly is drawn to her. Riley is very good at keeping me informed of everything that is going on. Thank you so much!!”

About: I worked at Camp Bow Wow for a while and have taken care of many types of dogs. I have a cat that is around my dogs I take care of train and play with my dogs daily and make sure they are always happy and safe. I am free to take care of any fur babies I treat any animal as it was my own, I love pets and have taken care of many types, and they all seem to connect with me
“Natalie did an amazing job with our dogs. We don’t leave them home alone often, so we worry when we have to. But I was put at ease with all the updates and pictures Natalie provided. Our dogs had a great time with Natalie and we couldn’t be any happier with how well she took care of our fur babies. We are no longer nervous about leaving our dogs home thanks to Natalie.”

About: Growing up I do not remember a moment that my family did not have an animal in our household. I used to always want to spend my time with animals and always had that option. My mom was just as obsessed with animals as I was. There was a point in time that we had two cats and five dogs in the household. I love the connection that people can build with animals and the care that there is for each other. With all of these animals in our house, I got pretty accustomed to washing, feeding, walking, playing, etc with them. My stepdad bought a Rottweiler puppy when I was a teenager, so I was able to watch how he trained the dog and the phases they go through as puppies. Although, I do not own an animal of my own at the moment, I always enjoyed the times when my life had an animal in it. I would greatly enjoy to help others contribute to taking care of their animals with the extra time I have. I currently work part-time as a server with a flexible, open schedule. I would love to spend my free time giving love to all animals. I have a schedule that would allow me to be available to give care to your animals with walks, attention, feeding, and much more! Currently, I live in an apartment complex that does allow pets, but do not have any of my own at the moment. I have dog sat my family's animals for over the past few years, dealing with multiple dogs at once, cats, senior dogs. I would love to expand beyond my family's animals.
About: While I’ve grown up with dogs and my family members continue to be dog owners, living in an apartment doesn’t allow me the space to be a dog owner myself so I am very thankful for Rover!!
About: I rescued my first pet (cat) and spoiled my second (dog). Have fun playing fetch and taking long walks, and love to hang out with cats too. I have just recently moved back to Missouri from Bozeman, Montana and am always looking to stay busy with side jobs on my time off. I can easily crate dogs (only if asked or necessary) in a client’s home. I can recognize different techniques to use on differently trained animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
