About: 🐾 Buddy’s Boarding — Where Pets Feel at Home Hi! We're Percy and Darik — two experienced pet lovers offering premium dog boarding from our home in Brown Deer. One of us is home full-time, giving us the flexibility to provide reliable, personalized care for every pup we host. 🐶 Why pet parents love Buddy’s Boarding: • Spacious yard with a partially fenced area for play and potty breaks • Flexible pick-up/drop-off times with clear communication • Convenient location — just 10 minutes from I-43 and Hwy 41 • Quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with sidewalks and green space • Two attentive, dog-experienced sitters under one roof • Access to a dog-friendly pool (summer months only, supervised, optional) ✨ Our Story Buddy’s Boarding is named after the dog that started it all. At 10 years old, I found Buddy as a stray near my dad’s business and begged my mom to let us keep him. She said yes — and from that moment on, my bond with animals was sealed. That connection still fuels the love and care we give every dog who stays with us. Whether your pup is active and playful or chill and cuddly, we tailor each stay to their needs. Let us know your dog’s routine and preferences — we’re happy to accommodate. We can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home. 🐾 👉 Send us a request to get started — we’d love to meet your pup! Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine. My partner Darik works from home as a graphic designer, so there’s always someone present to supervise and care for the dogs. I work part-time as a dog handler in the mornings, which means I bring both experience and structure to our day. Between the two of us, we’re able to give pets plenty of attention, play, and potty breaks throughout the day — with flexibility for early drop-offs, midday walks, and evening wind-downs. It’s a rhythm that’s built around making dogs feel safe, happy, and at home. Safety We prioritize safety by pet-proofing our home, keeping hazardous items out of reach, and supervising pets at all times. Whether it’s backyard play or a leashed walk, we ensure dogs are always in secure, pet-friendly environments. We also tailor safety measures to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Trust Building trust with both pets and their people is at the heart of what we do. We take time to understand each dog’s routine and preferences, and we maintain regular communication with pet parents — sharing updates and photos so they always feel connected and confident in our care. Environment Our home is clean, cozy, and designed with dogs in mind — with plenty of space to move, comfy spots to rest, and loving attention throughout the day. We create a calm, positive environment and adjust our approach to meet each dog where they’re at. If we’re caring for pets in their home, we follow their routine closely to ensure they feel safe, secure, and comfortable in their own space.

About: In the last 20 years, I have owned four dogs. I fostered a dog for several months and ended up adopting her. I trained all four - two of which came to me as puppies. I have a flexible schedule as I work from home Monday through Friday. Whether you are opting for a dog sitter during the day or in need of a second home for your pet while you are away, I am willing to pick and drop off your pet. If you are utilizing me for a day sitter, I am happy to have an office companion. We can keep each other company throughout the day! If you are using me for a day sitter or for boarding, I can take your dog for walks or play fetch. We have a large yard on water so if your pup likes to swim that can be accommodated. I have two boys, who are 6 and 7 years old, and a 2 year old cattle dog, who would love to snuggle and play with your dog.

“Ryan was very accommodating and thoughtful as we dropped our dog off for an afternoon. He listened and was engaging as we discussed our pup’s routine. We would go back to Ryan next time we are in the area.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and consider myself very much a dog person. I enjoy walking, caring, playing, and snuggling dogs. I have two dogs of my own and they are treated as members of the family. I’ve administered monthly treatments, medication, creams and everything to keep my dogs healthy. I currently work from home and I am always available. I do nightly walks with my own pups. But have a flexible schedule to maintain whatever schedule you currently have set up with your pet. About: Hello! I'm Susu and I would love to care for your pet. I've been caring for animals since a very young age. My family and I would always bring in and care for fosters and strays, along with our own. Learning to train pups at such a young age has made it one of my biggest passions. I understand that every dog is different and it's all about learning who they are. I adapt and adjust to any dogs needs until they are happy and comfortable. Of course playtime is great but I will also inforce balance by having them do tricks and giving rewards. I believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging them to be their best furry selves. I will truly love your pet like my own. I do have a dog of my own named lexus. She is a rescue so she can be a little wary of strangers but is never shy around another furry friend! She has been socialized all of her life and loves to run and play. She understands social cues very well so if the other dog is uninterested in playing she will leave them alone. If Lexus and your dog meet I'm sure they will be best of friends! Whether it's just a walk or they stay a few nights I cant wait to meet your pup! My schedule is very flexible. I am a stay at home mom, photographer, mua and an artist. I am open to last minute scheduling if needed or scheduling something further in advance. Something consistent and on going would be preferred but if it’s just a one time thing that is okay with me as well! For walks we will go on a walk around the block. If needed we will work on not pulling the leash. For a boarding visit I will get them all set up and comfortable in my house. If it’s nice out we will go for a walk and play outside. Playing indoors as well and working on tricks they know or maybe learning a new one. Potty breaks will be provided whenever needed and food will be given as directed.

“Cooper loved being with Ashlyn and was sad each day I had to take him home. She walked him each day and played with him. She sent me pictures and videos of his stay. I will be booking with her for future needs.”

About: I had my own dog for about four years and would love to take him on walks and play fetch, teach him tricks, and run around outside. His name was Rex. He slept with me every night and loved to cuddle! I dogsit for my aunts dog as well. Whenever she goes out of town or wants to go on a vacation I am always the first person she goes to for a dogsitter. I love being outside and taking walks. I also have a cat who lives with my mom right now. I always take care of her if my mom is out of town as well. I used to live with three big dogs and one cat that I would also care for while my roommates were gone. I am currently working as a barista and babysitting sometimes as well. It all really depends, but for the most part I am available to pet sit when needed. When my aunt leaves town, I stay at her house so I am around the dog most of the time unless I go to work.

“As someone very nervous about leaving my cats while on vacation, I knew I needed to find someone I could trust. Perseus watched my three cats on short notice and took the time to understand their individual needs and very specific feeding schedules. One of my cats only eats one type of food and changes her mind every other day, another needs to eat behind a closed door so the others won't eat their food, and one of them is very shy around strangers and I was worried he wouldn't eat while I was gone, but Perseus was patient and made my scaredy-cat feel right at home. Upon my request, he agreed to send daily updates on the cats so I could be assured they were being well-cared for, and he was happy to confirm all the tedious things I asked for to make my cats as comfortable as possible in someone else's home. He was personable, kind, and patient with both me and my cats, and made me feel more comfortable with leaving my babies with a stranger! At the end of the week, he didn't feel like a stranger anymore but someone I could genuinely trust.”
