“Gianina watched my 7 month old puppy for 4 consecutive days. She was awesome to work with and each day my puppy came home happy, healthy, and tired. I truly appreciate her caring for him so well and I would absolutely book with her again in the future.”

“Monique was very nice, she took great care of my dog. She sent me updates and pictures to let me know how she was doing. She is very quick to respond. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her and knowing she will get great care!”

“Maria and Nayibe are wonderful pet sitters! We are so glad we found them! Thank you for your excellent care and all the photos you send! See you soon!!”

“Yolanda and her family have been so great to work with so far! Yolanda is very responsive, flexible, & respectful of your pet’s needs/requests/concerns. I will be utilizing her services again 🙂”

“Mary and Hanna are AWESOME! We were so worried about leaving our baby alone so we looked into other alternatives. Leaving him with them was the best choice we could have made. Loads of cute pics and the opportunity for him to socialize with other pups. Would completely recommend Mary and Hanna to anyone looking for the best pup care!??”
“Kim is amazing! We always have her watch our dachshund Wendi whenever we go out of town or have an event to go to. She is so responsive and such a kind person! When she’s watching our dog, we know our dog is in great hands. Our dog always comes home happy and sleepy after hanging out with Kim and her dog! Thank you!!”

“My 4 month old puppy had a fantastic morning with Auria and her 2 dogs. Elliot was able not only to socializie with adult dogs, but also a soon to be 4 year old grand-daughter. Sounds like my puppy did very well -- now I can add that to his Rover profile!! Auria's dogs did not bark at Elliot when we arrived and were very relaxed, yet full of energy, and friendly to our puppy. I hope that when the need arises we can bring Elliot over again. I wouldn't hesitate to make it a regular dog day care, since it was such a positive experience (for everyone!). Thank you Auria for being available when I was looking for daycare the night before.”
“Thank you Rita and Dan for being amazing dog sitters. They truly care for your pup and we had no concerns whatsoever about leaving Flora in their care. We loved the photos they provided so we could see how she was doing. Flora had the best time and honestly didn’t want to leave! Definitely will be rebooking in the future ?”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for cats and have experience with both puppies and adult dogs. I previously owned a Border Collie, giving me firsthand knowledge of the exercise, attention, and training that active breeds need. I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I provide a safe, clean, and caring environment where pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I understand that every pet has unique routines and needs, and I always follow owners’ instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable and at home. Pet care fits well into my daily routine because I’m home for most of the day. Dogs will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. If I need to leave the house, it’s usually for no more than about three hours, and there is typically someone else at home to supervise and make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. I strive to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel relaxed and at home during their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a spacious home with plenty of room for dogs to relax and play indoors. There is also a large front and back yard for exercise and fresh air. While the yard is not fenced, dogs will always be kept on a leash or under close supervision when outside. I carefully follow each owner’s care instructions, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications if needed, and any special requirements, to help every pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
About: After several busy months on Rover with almost nonstop bookings, I have had such great stays with dozens of dogs, no accidents in the houses, no bites, no runaways, zero negative experiences. I feel confident that with me, you’re getting a premium stay for your pets for a really good value! I’m incredibly hands on and present with the pets, with them 24/7 and very adaptable with the different needs and personalities. I’m attentive with different care instructions and really shower the animals with positive attention 😊 I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. This is not a business for me, it’s something I have enjoyed doing for my family and friends, and if you want your beloved pet to be in a calm but fun, comfortable environment while you’re away, I can extend my service to you. I recently started doing home stays/drop ins for the pet sitting too and enjoyed it. I currently have a really flexible schedule with a lot of availability. I live with my dad that occasionally says hi if the dog or cat is friendly but mostly the house is big enough that they never cross paths. I have a fenced in yard and a big house with a lot of space that I can also section off by closing doors. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting because it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.
“Gilian was so patient with Oakley on his first sitter experience!! She kept me updated on how he was, concerns she had, and pictures. We got stuck in a family emergency and she came through to watch Oakley last minute, I highly recommend her!!”

“I have an almost two week stay booked for my old man puggle. I wanted to do some day visits so he could get used to the changes. She said he did so well and adjusted easily. I am feeling so much more at ease about the stay!! I am so grateful that there are people like her out there.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life and finally got my own pup in 2023. I love all breeds, sizes and ages and cater my care specific to every dog’s needs. I am very patient and keep up with guidelines and research to ensure I’m doing my best as a dog mom and carer of animals in a daily basis. I’m currently between jobs and home all day, meaning I have flexibility every day. I love getting my steps in, so I am more than happy to take your pup on long walks and will happily provide drop in visits! While boarding or daycare with me, your dog will join me and Killian on our walks, get treats, lick mats, and I can take them to the dog park if you’d like and feel safe enough to. I am a trustworthy person who treats every being and environment like her own. I understand animal’s body language and barks/growls and will ensure their safety and comfort. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and am able to handle big dogs on walks as my boy is 80lbs. I prioritize their safety, comfort and enrichment. I live near Roverwest, so just lmk if you’re comfortable with me taking your dog over!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Germantown
Abigail was great. We have two dogs: a German Shorthair Pointer and a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, so we're always a little unsure if other people can handle their energy and excitement. Abigail handled them just fine. She communicated with us well, took care of the dogs, and was flexible and easy to work with. A superb dog sitter. We would go with her again.
We had a last minute need for daycare and it was amazing that Gwyn made time for Rocky! She has always taken good care of our boy. He loves seeing her doggy when he goes. She has a great fenced yard for them so lots of room outside as well as in. We will always come back to Gwyn when we need someone to care for Rocky ❤️

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Germantown commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
