“Gabriella was very invested in our cat’s wellbeing while we were gone and went above and beyond. She made sure he had company and got everything he needed. I really appreciated her time investment and transparent, picture-laden updates at every check-in. Definitely recommended to book her!”

“Janae was great, she checked in on our cats for a couple days while we were out of town. We did an initial visit before the booking just to meet her and see how our cats reacted, they instantly took to her which was a relief. She also very kindly pulled in our trash bins while we were away, we did not expect that but very much appreciated! We would definitely book with Janae again.”

About: When I think about the things that bring joy and love into my life, two things always come to mind: dogs and cats. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have pets as part of my family and ever since then, my love for these furry creatures has only grown stronger. From their playful antics to their unconditional love, dogs and cats have captured my heart and have been a constant source of happiness in my life. I believe that pets are not just animals, but they are also valuable members of the family. And as a pet lover, it is my passion to provide the best care and love for them, just like they are my own. This is why I am dedicated to offering top-notch pet sitting and dog walking services, because I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your pets with the same love and attention that you would. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have had the pleasure of taking care of a variety of dogs and cats over the years. From small and cuddly kittens to big and energetic dogs, I have loved them all like they were my own. I know that each pet has their own unique personality and needs, and I make it a priority to get to know them individually. Whether it is through playtime, snuggles, or just spending quality time together, I make sure that your pets feel loved and well taken care of while you are away. But my passion for pets goes beyond just taking care of them. I also have a deep understanding of their health and well-being. I am well-versed in administering medication, following special dietary needs, and recognizing and addressing any potential health concerns. Your pet's safety and health is my top priority, and you can trust that I will go above and beyond to ensure that they are happy and healthy under my care. Not only do I provide exceptional pet sitting services, but I also offer dog walking services for those busy pet parents who may not have enough time in their schedule to take their furry friends for a walk. I know the importance of exercise and fresh air for dogs and I am committed to providing them with regular walks to keep them healthy and happy. My love for pets is not limited to just my own. I take great pride in treating every pet under my care with the same love, attention, and care that I would for my own beloved pets. I understand the trust that is placed in me when pet owners choose me to take care of their furry family members, and I do my best to exceed their expectations every time. In conclusion, my love for dogs and cats has been a constant in my life. They have brought so much joy and fulfillment into my world, and I am dedicated to giving back by providing pet sitting and dog walking services to other pet lovers out there. Rest assured that when you choose me as your pet caretaker, your furry friends will be treated with the utmost love and care, just like they were my own. I have a consistent and flexible weekly routine that allows plenty of time for dedicated, attentive pet care. Whether it's caring for cats or dogs, I’m able to fit daily visits, walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins smoothly into my schedule without rushing or overbooking. I intentionally leave open time in my week specifically for pet-sitting, so every animal gets the calm, steady attention they deserve. On a monthly basis, my schedule stays stable and predictable, which means I can confidently commit to recurring bookings, multi-day stays, and longer-term care needs. Whether you need support for planned trips, regular weekly visits, or ongoing care, I’m able to provide consistent and reliable availability for both cats and dogs. Overall, my schedule is designed to be flexible, pet-friendly, and dependable — making it easy for me to offer loving, high-quality care whenever you need it. When dogs stay in my home, they become part of the family. I have one friendly dog of my own who enjoys company, and a fully fenced-in yard that gives visiting dogs a safe space to play, explore, and relax outdoors. I offer a balanced mix of supervision, structure, and comfort so each dog feels secure and welcome. Inside the home, dogs have plenty of room to settle in, and I tailor their care to their individual needs—whether that means frequent potty breaks, interactive playtime, quiet rest areas, or sticking closely to their usual routines. If your dog is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable with one, I can crate as needed for safety, sleep, or downtime. Your dog will get consistent attention, a calm environment, and lots of love while staying with me. My goal is to make their stay enjoyable, stress-free, and as close to home as possible.
“Ashlea has been letting our 2 puppies out in the middle of the day for the last few weeks and has been fantastic. She has been flexible when my schedule changes and is completely reliable. We very much appreciate how she treats our dogs and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have several years of hands-on experience caring for horses, dogs, and other pets through barn work and daily responsibilities. My experience includes feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, administering basic care, and keeping animals on consistent routines. I also previously managed a pet store, where I helped customers with pet care needs and assisted with grooming services, giving me experience working with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. Being involved in cheer and an active lifestyle, I’m used to early mornings, long days, and staying dependable no matter the weather. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to structured schedules and early mornings. Between school, cheer, and my experience working at barns and managing a pet store, I’m very comfortable planning my day around feeding times, walks, and check-ins. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines so they feel comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I’m active and outdoors often, so regular walks and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy, not just a task. I’m also reliable with time management, so pets always get the attention and care they need. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions are followed exactly. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel at ease while they’re away. If pets are in my home, I make sure they have a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and get fresh air safely. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to a specific care routine.
“Jody was amazing! Great communication with us and made a loving connection with our puppy. I appreciate the constant updates and photos. I highly recommend her for future services and hope she will be available the next time we need a sitter for our Oreo!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
