I’m available Friday evenings after 6 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday. Living near the national forest also allows me to provide peaceful, enriching walks in nature for dogs who enjoy being outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I make sure to respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I stick closely to your instructions so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I enjoy having dogs that she can play with, but she loves older or more slow-paced dogs as well. We typically go on a hike every week, or go to the dog park since she is so active and loves to play. I can cater to any type of dog, any dietary issues, and am comfortable administering medicine. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I have lots of time for your pets. My son loves all animals and Indy our husky is extremely friendly and loves having friends visit as she is an only dog ;) We typically spend the day all together downstairs doing art, teaching my son & playing. My whole downstairs is dog friendly and we are typically home the majority of the day since we still do naps. ****We have chickens in a coop in the backyard**** never been an issue in the past with the dogs I have Rovered. They are secured.

About: Have taken care of friends' and neighbors' pets through most of my childhood, and continue to dogsit for friends during vacations, weddings, or other needs. I love spending time in the woods, so can take your pet on outdoor adventures, hiking, biking, skiing, or snowshoeing. Pet care is something I do in my free time, outside of working as an outdoor educator or substitute teaching. I plan to spend most of the Fall, Winter, and Spring in Truckee, so weekends or weekdays are all on the table. I keep a watchful eye over pets in my home, and allow them safety within and without the house. I live near downtown Truckee, so time outside is spent on the leash. I always leave pet food and water out, and have pet-loving roommates.
