Rocky is not great with recall so Tasha’s husband made a zip line so Rocky could easily explore as much of their property as possible! They really went above and beyond in so many ways. About: NEW TO ROVER, but not new to pet sitting! I’m offering a discounted introductory rate while I build my Rover profile. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family, with a fully fenced half-acre yard, dog door, two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and lots of room to run, sniff and explore. I keep the number of visiting dogs small so they can settle into our normal household routine rather than a kennel environment. I also only take well-behaved small and medium dogs vetted via meet-and-greets to ensure not just safety, but the peace and comfort of each dog. I’ve had dogs most of my life and regularly care for pets for friends and local families. I’m comfortable with seniors, medications and dogs with different exercise needs. I also offer drop-in care for cats, chickens and other small pets in their own homes. I work about 10 minutes from home and can usually come home at lunchtime when needed. Dogs get plenty of yard time before and after work, with evenings and weekends available for walks, play and attention. I’m a particularly good fit for dogs that are already comfortable relaxing at home during a normal workday. I can also accommodate midday meals, medications and other care needs. Visiting dogs live with us as part of the family. They’re welcome on the couch or bed and can use the dog door if they’re comfortable with it. My fully fenced, half-acre yard includes a large lawn, orchard, garden and sagebrush-covered hillside with lots of room to run and explore. Chickens are kept separately in an enclosed coop or their own fenced area. I’m directly on the Steamboat Ditch Trail, so walks start right from the house. I’m also happy to take energetic dogs on longer walks, hikes or runs.
“Shawna is absolutely the best without a doubt! We love to travel but after getting two puppies, we haven’t felt comfortable imposing on family to take care of our “babies” frequently. Someone suggested we try Rover, and we were blessed to find Shawna. She is beyond patient and kind. We left our two dogs with Shawna on Monday morning and picked them up on Wednesday afternoon. In that time she taught them how to use a doggie door, played with them a ton, and made them a part of her family. She has a wonderful backyard that the dogs can play in, and her home is in a quiet residential area. She constantly sent me texts and pictures of Bentley and Bosley to reassure us as to how well they were doing. These spoiled pups slept with her daughter because she knows I sleep with them every night and she wanted them to feel safe and loved. Shawna deserves 10 stars. Thank you, dear heart. About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.

About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the local Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

With Tim, they’re eager to bound in for fun and good company, and come back home happy and tails-a-waggin’. About: I have had dogs in my house since before I was born and have never gone a day with out dogs living at home. I love to take my own two dogs on walks and would love to help out others that don’t have the time or ability to take their own out on walks all the time. I currently have my two dogs, two cats and a little zoo made up of different types of pets. I typically work early mornings and I am off by noon most days so a quick afternoon walk is ideal for me. My services are available almost everyday from noon to five in the afternoon. Since I have so many of my own pets I prefer to pet sit at the clients house. I mainly offer dog walking but for any quick day trip over overnighter I am able to stop by to care for your pet and meet their needs.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. Right now, I share my home with my own corgi, who is fine with other dogs. I walked dogs in college, and now I am a PhD student with multiple days when I work from home. I am a PhD student and work from home several days a week, so I will be available for play time and outdoor breaks. About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.
