About: Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. She had no problem dealing with the shenanigans of our 1 year old pup while bonding with our other middle aged and senior dogs. She followed all of our instructions to a t and sent plenty of sweet updates and photos. It felt like she really bonded with everyone and seamlessly jumped into their routine. She asked questions whenever she wasn't sure about something to make sure she got it done right. She happily brought in all of our packages and mail and left the house in great condition. About: I have experience with animals my whole life and even more after doing rover for 2 years now. I treat all animals as if they are my own! I work full time away from home but my bf Riley works from home. I would be the primary caretaker Wednesdays- Saturdays but other days it would be my bf watching the dogs at home until I get home. We are an active family and would love to take your fur babies on adventures with us if that's something you'd like! NOTE: Any daycare request that is over 9 hours will be an extra $5 Pick ups or drop offs after 9PM will be an extra $5 *House sitting price will vary depending on the situation/distance *We only watch pups together that we know will get along and usually no more than a couple at a time. We have a fully fenced yard and a dog door so you're pup could have access to outside all day. We have space for crates if you need your dog to sleep in a crate at night, otherwise they are free to sleep wherever they are comfortable! My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat so she has free roam therefore all dogs must be respectful of cats. She does like to play but not roughly chased. I will take lots of photos of your pup during their stay as well!

I have plenty of space and separate rooms in the house along with a gate I can put up if your fury love wants a little space of their own for play time!

I have a fenced yard as well as a doggie door. Your fur baby will have everything he/she needs to be happy and loved. Consider it a doggy vacation resort.
