About: I’ve had personal experience with animals of all kinds for my entire life. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, I’ve owned guinea pigs, and handled reptiles. I’ve dog sat many times over the past few years for family and friends. I currently spend a lot of time home and am looking for some extra money. I figured spending that time with animals would make me happiest. I have a cat of my own and I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of grass area for dogs! About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child all the way from administration of medicine to birthing animals on a farm to just feeding and walking and loving on animals. I have had experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I have also helped train animals on and off. I would love to have the chance to be your fur babies next best friend. I am free almost always as I work from home. I work from home and I am free almost always and always can make time for animals. I am free mornings all the way to evenings. I live on a farm in a fenced in yard. My sheep are separated from the other animals but do well around the sheep but I would keep clients animals away. One dog is an outside dog but comes in and one is a full time inside dog. She sleeps with me and loves to go on car rides and both are friendly animals. I have cats who live on the farm but they do there on thing and get along well with other animals. I can follow instructions well if you have a certain way you would like things done.

She sent many updates through the day depicting their walkabouts around the property. I felt like I was there with my cats at home from all the updates! I work remotely, so I'm able to cater my schedule to the needs of any pets I'm sitting. This could mean early morning and evening walks, mid day check ins, etc. I take notes on what the owner typically offers the pet in their normal day to day and incorporate that so the pet feels as comfortable as possible. “Yolanda is genuinely fantastic!!! First of all, she’s so kind and you can tell she truly loves animals and people. She came and met our furry family and was very attentive to the details of how to care for them. Prior to our vacation, she checked in and was very communicative and excited to come and stay. I sent a few videos via the app on some updated protocols with the kitty meds, and she was on it! While she was here, she sent sweet pics of our kitties and kept us posted. Our cats are “elders” and needs meds, and she did a great job handling all of it! She left our house spotless and communicated prior to heading out as well. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
