About: Hi! My name is Robert, and I’m a proud dad of two little ones and a dog dad to two pit bull mixes. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, but dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether your pup needs a walk, a drop-in visit for feeding and playtime, or boarding (when it’s the right fit), I’m here to help. I have a very flexible schedule and am available on both weekdays and weekends to accommodate your needs. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member. Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to hearing from you! My schedule is flexible so I’ll have plenty of time to look after your animals or pups. Whether it’s a walk or drop in visit, they’ll be taken care of. I’ll treat your animals with the utmost care. I can follow all instructions if your pet has special needs. Whether your pet is big or small.
“Jennifer did a wonderful job caring for our Golden Retriever in her home! She was professional, kind and caring, with us (dog parents) and our dog! Jennifer provided text updates and pictures which we LOVED and appreciated! Jennifer and her family took excellent care, feeding and supervision of our Kea, and I would highly recommend her care for other dogs!”

“Best experience ❤️ I would highly recommend Breanna. I have a high energy puppy and she came home tired and well cared for so I couldn’t ask for anything more. Breanna sent me updates and the cutest pics of them going in walks which was amazing. I will definitely be a repeat client of hers 😁”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I’m committed to providing dependable, loving care so you can have peace of mind whether you’re away on vacation, at work, or simply need an extra helping hand during the day. I currently have two dogs of my own and have cared for a wide variety of pets throughout my life, including cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds, and lizards. Growing up with animals has taught me that every pet has a unique personality and deserves individualized attention and care. In addition to being a mom, I’m also a Licensed Nurse so providing compassionate, attentive care comes naturally to me. My schedule allows me flexibility for drop-in visits, walks, playtime, feeding, and whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. My home features a fenced yard, and my own children and fur babies help create a fun and welcoming environment for visiting pets. If needed, I can crate your pet to ensure they feel safe and secure. Our dog Rickey loves to play, while Izzy enjoys relaxing and keeping everyone company. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and treating them like part of the family! I am currently a stay at home mom who can stop by for visits or walks throughout the day as needed and let your request. I have a fenced yard and my own kids and fur babies to keep yours company. I can crate you pets if needed. Our Rickey loves to play and Frank loves to chill.
“Michelle was very accommodating and friendly! First time leaving our dog with someone besides family, and I felt very confident that our Dexter was cared for just like we would have hoped! He's now asleep and I think will stay that way for a day or two lol.”

“Aron has been so excellent with my 9 month old Malinois! She comes home exhausted and is always excited to be there. He’s very attentive and puts up with my paranoid-dog-mom “how’s she doing?” texts every so often 😂 highly recommend!”

About: I've had all kinds of animals growing up, and have owned my own pooch for over 10 years, I guess you can say I love spoiling my pets and treating them like a real member of the family! Of course my fur babies fit into my everyday routine, tlc every morning, noon and night! Feed well, treats, grooming, and lots of spoiling, love and kisses! Making sure the animals first trust you and don't feel anxious with you! Making sure they know they are still loved even when their owner is away! Lots of love and care, potty breaks, treats, attention, kisses, pets, and feed and cuddles!
“Lynn was amazing! She went way above and beyond my expectation. I'm extremely protective of my pups and was worried about leaving them, but once I met Lynn and saw how she was with my little guys and with her own "babies", and how secure her yard was, I felt completely at ease and comfortable leaving them in her care. I didn't bring their food with me because we weren't leaving them overnight and they won't eat when we're not there. She made them chicken! which of course they ate right up. This woman LOVES dogs. I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend her.”

“Very satisfied with Dan and his care for my Daisy. I left food for her but none was given. Just one water break. At home she drinks a lot of water and is fed twice a day. So I am puzzled! Dan is a great host and provides great care. I will be using his services in the future!”

“Beyond grateful that Megan was able watch my dog for the whole day, especially with late notice. She was so welcoming and reassuring since my dog acted like a shy kid on his first day of school. She took excellent care of Nugget. I picked him up happy and tired.”

We have 1 acre to run around on in the day. I'll be here all day.
“Olivia was great! I highly recommend her! We had a funeral to attend in the Yuba City area and our dog sitter wasn't available..Olivia agreed to watch Bandit with 1 days notice. She sent pictures & gave us updates throughout the afternoon. You could tell she loves dogs! We will definitely use her services again if we ever have a need again for a sitter in that area of California!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 469 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Sicard Flat. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sicard Flat commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 469 sitters in Sicard Flat, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
