We have the nicest German shepherds in the world but you never know if a new person meeting them will be nervous or not. She immediately seemed to read them and just loved on them right away, which made us feel like she was the right person for the job. She sent great pictures and detailed notes on her check ins with the dogs. We absolutely will be reaching out to her for help in the future!”

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I’ve had a family dog my entire life, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I also have experience watching and walking dogs for other people, including strangers’ pets, and I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. I’m active, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m available throughout the week and have a pretty flexible schedule. While I have an internship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I still have plenty of time for pet care, walks, and check ins. About: Hello folks, I am an experienced animal caretaker with a background in fostering pets. I have cared for dogs, cats, other domestic pets, and farm animals. My clients, friends and family have entrusted me to watch their animals since I was 12. I believe that direct communication with pet owners will allow me to provide a safe and engaging experience for your animals. I work part-time from 10 am - 2 pm throughout the week. My work days change frequently but I am available outside of these hours for your caretaking needs. I will not be providing services in my home at this time. For pet sitting and walking services, I am available to stay in your home or do daily check ins. My goal is to be an accessible source for your animal while you travel or are at work. I will be available 24/7 via email or text after you book my services. Please provide me with any medical, dietary, or enrichment needs for your animal when you book my services. I always adhere to my clients wishes and will do my best to stick with your pet’s daily routine while in my care. If you have a dog who is friendly, I can provide additional enrichment with my three year old pup Zeus.

About: I have been a Vet assistant for almost 2 years and on the road to becoming a technician. I have also taken a 2 year small animal science program. I am fear free certified along with CPR in animals. I have a bunch of experience working with animals, and am comfortable giving medication or whatever care they may need! Im available most weekends and a couple weekdays to take care of your pets. I’m also available most nights after work to squeeze in some visits as well! I make sure the pet is as comfortable as I am. If the pet isn't comfortable then it won't be a good experience for me or them.

About: I have donated many hours going to my local dog shealter and dealing with many different types of dogs. Learning each of their personalities was one of my favorite things about going there. I then ended up adopting one myself! I have just graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh and still am unsure of my next move in life. I have such a strong passion for animals and love spending time with them and also doing what is necessary to make their lives better. I have a big back yard with no neighboring dogs, this allows for my one dog to have the best time back there. I have a 30 ft leash and balls are provided!

“Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. We will definitely use Meghan again!”

About: I have had family pets since I was three that I have helped care for. As a child, I volunteered at the Saratoga animal shelter and spent time caring for the cats and dogs there. When I was fourteen, I worked at a pet resort, where I checked dogs and cats into the hotel and made sure they were safely cared for. When I was eighteen I got two cats, Noodles and Drake, who I absolutely adore. I am a 23 year old university student who is currently working on my phd. I’m excited to have the opportunity to care for animals during the summer and part time during my semester. I have experience caring for a wide range of breeds and ages. I also have a cousin and cousin in-law who are veterinarians and can be of assistance in case of any emergency. I look forward to care for your pet!! About: I’ve taken care of many animals every since I was 10. I hope to meet your cute furry friend soon because I know their pawfect! I am available frequent for potty breaks and walks during boarding. When sitting I am happy to stay at the pet’s home to attend to all of their needs (especially pets and cuddles 🥰) There is a local park where I currently live, very dog friendly! If you live in an area near a park I guarantee your dog will have lots of play time. Walks are also included as well.

About: I have cared for pets, primarily dogs, for 11 years. I have two dogs, Simon (19) and Maggie (4). Simon is deaf, mostly blind, and has arthritis, and I am experienced in caring for dogs with these conditions. Maggie is an emotional support animal and service dog in training. I enjoy socializing, caring for, and accommodating all pets! I am able to walk and care for animals on an as needed basis. As of now, I am regularly free in the evenings and weekends. I am flexible and we can figure out a good time together. I am unable to participate in care taking place within my home as Simon does not take well to strangers. I will come to you!
