About: I love animals. In the past I volunteered at my local animal shelter to take care of pets and I loved it. I know how much I hate worrying about my pets being taken care of when I'm gone so I want to make sure that when a vacation or an emergency comes around you know your furry family is taken care of and in good hands. I've dealt with dogs that are as small as a chihuahua to dogs that weight more than I do. My schedule is very open so I'm flexible to take care of your pets to the fullest extent you need to feel comfortable. I've also taken care of senior pets that neerequire medications daily in the morning and at night.
“Caitlyn is a superstar in our eyes! We know she loves and cares for Missy & Beau as if they were her own, even though Missy barks at her the whole time! We are so lucky to have Caitlyn on our side and would recommend her to any and all. Except for when we need her! 😂”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care I give every dog. I know pets are family, so I treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, follow your pet’s routine closely, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I have the flexibility to provide dependable care throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or overnight care, I can make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I understand how important consistency is, and I’ll do my best to work around your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I make sure they always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same care, patience, and respect I would give my own.

My house is in a well noted and safe neighborhood, with a secured fence and a wonderful backyard. I love spending time with dogs and giving them the love and care they deserve. If you have any specific rules or guidelines for your pooch please let me know, I will do my best to make my home as cozy as their own. I love any dog big or small no matter the breed, color, or disability. I feel I would be great on Rover because dogs are just like children, and should be treated with care and love as if they were my own!! Your dog will be in safe and open arms <3 I work full time from home, but i am always here so your pups are never left unattended , i believe pets are like children, and should still be treated great care and love❤️ I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and outside fun. I do not leave them outside in the back yard, when they potty i stand outs tide with them until they are ready to come inside. My back yard is huge but i prefer the pups to be with me for safety and awareness reasons. I work from home 8-5 pm , so your pups are always getting around the clock care. I also love to walk the trails with the pups to get them and i some exercise and fresh air I have a doggy care kit in my home with necessities needed for all types of pups if needed , i make sure all pups are comfortable in their environment as well as around me so they can trust me in my care . Examples of this are playing outside , bonding with toys and giving them treats *unless directed otherwise * , and even watching alittle tv ! *bluey seems to work because Dogs can actually see the colors that bluey presents , it’s very entertaining to them *
About: I've worked with different breeds of dogs from rottweilers to english bulldogs. I can pick up on dog behavior really well and follow thier schedule. I work from home so I can make my time available for your fur baby from twelve o'clock to six o'clock in the late afternoon I have a medium sized fenced in yard. There is two dog park near by. I have a dog to give your dog a playmate. I work part-time, so I have plenty of free time to give your pup attention throughout the day. I’m home a lot, which means extra walks, playtime, and lots of company for dogs who don’t like being alone. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2pm, and I’m really flexible with scheduling if your dog needs a little extra time or care. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I keep a calm, clean environment and follow whatever routine your dog is used to—feeding times, walks, crate time, everything. I’m patient with shy or anxious pups and gentle with seniors. I’m also comfortable crating if needed, giving space when dogs need it, and making sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for the whole time.
“Thank you so much for taking care of my fur babies! I am so grateful for your skill and competence. My babies fell in love with you and the care you provided. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better!”

About: I've always had pets in my life. I currently have five rescues dogs and two cats. They make me smile! It gets loud, but I have no regrets. I am a Burnet local for 10 years now. I know it's hard to leave our pets. I will gladly check in on yours and make sure to give them plenty of attention. They will always feel loved and cared for under my watch. My pets are treated as part of my family. I talk to them daily, give them treats, and make sure all of their needs are met.

About: My family has had animals my whole life. Besides being the sibling most responsible for the animals (both dogs and cats), I also would walk and sit for my neighbors dogs as well. Now that I’m an adult, I still have and care for my own animals and would love to help you with yours when you need an extra hand. I work days during the week and have weekends free to help with your animals when you’re out of town. I can also do some evenings if you’re planning a date night or out of town for work. I have two dogs and two cats. Rather than shock your pet at my home, I’d prefer to come to you and care for them as you see fit. I can walk, play, and feed them.
“This is my second time booking Kayla to watch my dog, and she’s truly amazing! The first time I was out for vacation and booked Kayla to watch my dog overnight for a few days. She was the first River sitter I used, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She is incredibly attentive to my dog’s needs and gave him the right amount of love and cuddles. She cleaned my apartment and sent several updates on my puppy while I was away which made me feel so much better about being away from my dog. I booked her again for a drop in visit and will be booking again as needed! Can’t recommend enough!”

“Jillian was absolutely amazing. The meet and greet was so thorough that I just knew she would do a wonderful job at taking care of my fur-babies. I have senior fur-babies and she catered to their needs just the way I would as well as making sure the house was prepared for my return. Jillian is definitely my go to caregiver for my babies in the future.”

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
