About: I have previous years of experience caring for many pets such as cats, dogs, birds and reptiles! I love animals and strive to make them feel as loved and as comfortable as I can. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! I am currently a college student taking online classes. I am home with open availability majority of the time and am looking for part time pet care for daily expenses. I have a fenced grass backyard for pets to run around in. About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 years old! I grew up with both cats and dogs and now have a cat of own. Neighbors, friends, family, and members of the community have relied on me to walk, feed, administer medications, play with and be a companion to their pets, and I love to do it! I am a young professional who works weekdays from 9am-5pm. I am happy to make visits in the morning before my work day starts, during my lunch break from 12pm-1pm if needed, and anytime in the evening after work. My weekends are open and flexible. About: We both grew up with pets in our family homes and we now have a golden Retriever/Australian Shepard mix and two cats. Our pup will love to play with yours and we love going on lots of walks - we can’t wait to meet your sweet furry friend! We already have a dog and he is part of our daily schedule! About: Hello! I’ve been dogsitting/housesitting for at least 3 years now if not more. I adore meeting new doggos and learning about all of their little quirks. I am very committed to making sure I stick to the rules you have and I find communication very valuable. Of course, above all else I love having a connection with your fur baby and being able to be there for them whenever you need. For the next month or two I’ll likely be available most of the day every day. Currently unemployed but looking into other jobs and I start my last year of school in August. Again I’m more than happy to meet with you and discuss schedule if you’re interested! In the couple times I have taken care of other’s pets I always make sure they’re safe. Whatever the pet parent’s standard is, I follow. It’s important to keep a pattern with our pets so they don’t feel too uncomfortable with their owner being gone. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
