“I was quite skeptical about hiring a pet sitter coming into my house while I’m on vacation. Normally my brother would come, but he wasn’t available. I came across the Rover app and decided to see what it was all about. I filled out what I needed for my pet and had responses in a short period of time. I set up a meet and greet with William and felt like he would work out. When he came for the meeting I seen the interaction he had and decided to book him. Still a bit hesitant I had no other choice and said either I would have to trust and feel comfortable with William or cancel my trip. I dropped off the keys to him the day before and went on my trip. About: I do not currently have a pet, but I have been fortunate to have had and loved two amazing dogs in my lifetime. Each was an only pet at the time. Each lived to about the age of 16 and both were re-homes. Both dogs traveled with me and moved numerous times with me. I have worked with, and networked in animal rescue and have worked extensively with marine animals, as well. I have some knowledge of training techniques and added to the repertoire of behaviors of each of my pets. I do not drink or smoke and live in a smoke-free home. Since I am retired, I have a great deal of free time. My schedule is my own. While I don't currently have a pet, I miss the companionship of having one, so would love to companion your pet. I adore doting on all types of animals. Animals must be up to date on shots, vaccinations, etc. I'm pretty good at reading the needs of a pet. If they want to cuddle, I'm GREAT at cuddling. If they want to be left alone, I can do that. I'm a very cautious, dependable and trustworthy person. I take and follow orders well....smile. I adore animals of all kinds and love watching and/or being around them.

About: Have always been around pets and feel very close to them. Caring for dogs is particularly a joy because they are so sweet and loving. I have an open schedule but prefer more afternoon and evenings than mornings. Monday -Friday is what im seeking for dates and anytime from 3pm onward is good I make sure that my pet gets a lot of attention and affection as well as play time to get their energy out. About: I have volunteered for the humane society for 4 years where I walked, fed, and played with the dogs; I also cleaned the cat litter, played, and fed the cats. I previously used to Foster both cats and dogs for the humane society in Savannah. I am experienced in bottle feeding kittens/puppies. I have own dogs for 20 years. I've also been with a dog behaviorist and learned from her, so I do understand certain behaviors of dogs and can generally work around them. I've had a Maltease with seizures and a Bichon frise who had medical issues due to her age, both had to took medication so I am knowledgeable in that area. I can also do generic grooming with some dogs (brush, bath, & nail clip). I generally work with small to medium dogs. I currently own a 7yr old Shichi I have open availability. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and go to school on the weekdays. Which gives me a bit of free time to pet sit. For house sitting, dogs get a mini walk in the morning and take out. With owner permission I would take the dogs to the park or the beach. If not then I'll stay for a few hours and play with them. Other friendly around children then I'll let my son play fetch with them (he loves animals & is friendly). Water is always there & food is usually given as instructed

About: I love dogs. I have my own chihuahua & cat. I help watch my friends dog who is recently disabled. I make sure they have plenty of love. I’m currently not working so my schedule is open. I’m home right now so i’m looking for a job like this where I can be of help. I care for my pets and my friends pets daily. I make sure they all get outside multiple times a day and have plenty of food.
