“My first time using rover and having someone check in on our fur baby! By far exceeded my expectations!!”

“Holly has been a regular for our energetic mini-Aussie. She’s given an excellent description of their outings and willingly participated in some of the training we’ve been doing for Good Citizen Certification.”

“Tammy is amazing! Always reliable and on time. She takes the cutest pictures of the pups, too. :)”

About: I've been caring for my neighbor's dog for the past three years, and recently started caring for their second dog as well. I also enjoy dog walking, for myself and for the pups! I've learned to pay attention to how dogs are feeling with their body language, and I understand what it's like to care for a dog who might be a bit anxious. I'm excited to spend more time with dogs and provide them with a comfortable and enjoyable experience while they're in my care. I’m currently on my summer break from college, so I’ll be free most days except Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. I’m excited to spend it by hanging out with dogs! I can sit and cuddle with your pup, or play games including some enrichment activities to make your pup feel happy and content. I love to walk and would be happy to take your pup for a walk around the block!

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I have trained almost all my dogs since they were puppies. I have trained my own service dog. I have a passion for training dogs. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time to play with and train your pup. I can take them for daily walks around the park as well. I have a fenced yard and a nearby park to take your dog for a walk. I have my own friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a cat, but if your dog does not like cats, I can isolate may cat from your dog. My big dog seems to have a way of knowing how to make dogs feel comfortable in our home. He knows when to interact with them and when to just leave them alone. I am retired so I have lots of time to spend with your dog. I try to schedule my activities around when I have dogs, so I can devote all my time to caring for the dogs. I have a fenced in yard. I always supervise dogs when they are outside. I try to set up play dates with a neighbor who also works for Rover. My husband and family members are usually around to play with and take dogs on walks. I am currently transforming my services to focus more on training sessions in my client’s home. My main focus is working with young pups and to start training from day one, although I welcome the opportunity to train dogs of all ages. My goals are to offer support to dog owners on how to properly train desired behaviors in their dogs. I closely monitor all dogs, especially during play. I train the dogs how to play appropriately with each other. I will only crate dogs if it’s for their own safety. The only services I do in a client’s home are training sessions with the client present.

“Brigitte is amazing and cares about your babies. She is respectful of entering your home. She was on time and the dogs enjoyed her as well.”

About: i’ve taken care and have lived with dogs for all of my life being a part of someone’s home and taking care of someone’s dog or pet is something I want to accomplish to give the owner a peace of mind to know their animal is in good hands. I work part time for a swim school, teaching kids how to swim for their safety. Once I’m home, I make sure my own animals get their love and attention. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and have a fenced backyard. In your own home would be most fitting however, and would provide proper pet necessities

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is mt attention to detail and my surroundings. When coming in and out of houses, I am aware of what doors are open so no pets get out. While on walks, I am checking for other animals so pets don’t dart out or get into an unsafe circumstance. I always prioritize safety and happiness while pets are in my care! I am a college student who works during the weekdays. Rover is another way for me to pick up extra “shifts” in between school and work! I will ensure all safety expectations are met while at a clients home. I want to make sure not only that they are physically safe but that all pets feel safe when I walk into their home!

“We cannot say enough great things about Joesph! This was our first time using Rover, and we were understandably nervous about having someone we didn’t know entering our home and caring for our cat while we were away for Thanksgiving. From the first message, Joesph went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. He was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, ensuring we felt reassured every step of the way. He sent us adorable photos of our fur baby during his daily check-ins. The images captured our cat looking happy (in his way), which told us he was in great hands. He followed all of our care instructions perfectly, and his communication was excellent—we never had to wonder how things were going. It was clear he genuinely cared about making sure our cat was well taken care of, and his trustworthiness made it much easier for us to enjoy our holiday without worrying. If you’re looking for a dependable, caring sitter, we wholeheartedly recommend Joesph. We’ll be booking with him again in the future!”

“Vicente and Victor are always responsive and reliable. I’ve booked them a few times and everything has been great. Thank you so much for taking care of my furry baby.”

“Patrick took good care of our pets. He was on time and took pics. Going to book our next trip with him in a couple of weeks. We felt real comfortable leaving him in our house with our furbabies.”

About: Schnauzers to Shepherds, Bichons to Burmese, Malinois to Malamute, Rottweilers to Rabbits, Goats, Sheep, Chickens or even Horses. Growing up I spent my summers on a farm so am comfortable around all animals. I work from home, so have short notice flexible availability. Super clean and quiet, I pride myself on not leaving a “footprint” when I visit your home. Adaptable to your preferences for either high intensity workouts for your “runner” or slow lingering walks for our shy timid types. I pace myself to the personality of the animal yet enforce strict boundaries for both our safety. Using preventative measures combined with positive reinforcement, creates a safe, engaging environment for your fur baby.

“Ashley was amazing. Pearl just loved her and the walks they did together. Thank you Ashley”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Yadira pet sit my two cats over the Christmas holiday, and I couldn't be more pleased with her services. Yadira was attentive, ensuring that my cats were well-fed and comfortable throughout my absence. She provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. I Thank you, Yadira, for taking such great care of Peanut and Suzy!”

About: I’ve had a cat for 7 years & a dog for almost 2 years. Both are very loving & very high energy! I’ve loved animals my whole life & I have a very loving & safe home environment. I work Monday through Friday, I like spending my time at home & my commute is fairly close. I have a dog at home already so fitting an additional pet into my daily/weekly routine is very manageable. I have a fenced backyard, a trail next to my house & many parks in my area as well. I could happily take your pet to all the places my dog loves (:

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. I've helped friends and family with house sitting on occasion. Last year, I assisted in care of 16 chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. I've spent the past 6+ years as a classroom teacher, where caring for those in need came naturally. As a pet sitter, I can dedicate my undivided attention to your fur baby. I believe communication is paramount; be specific with what you want and need, and I will act on it accordingly. Of course, dogs and kitties communicate too, and my compassionate and attentive ways will help keep your pet content! Generally, my availability is evenings and weekends. Sundays are only sometimes available. I'm a Substitute Teacher while determining if I wish to go back to the classroom full-time or not. During school holidays, (Thanksgiving break, etc.) I will be available each day. I choose the days I Substitute, so on a few special occasions MAY be able to work some daytime weekdays. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or cat. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful. If you desire pet boarding, I suggest a meet and greet at my house first, as it is a tiny home. I have an enclosed yard and lots of acres to roam, but want to be sure it's a fit.

“We are so happy to have found Kimberli. Our boys loved her and she did so many extra lil things like watering our plants and even popped in to pop in on the boys to ensure they were ok after 4th of July fireworks. Thanks again; you put my mind at ease.”
